I've just started reading this story and will admit I might have missed some points until I re-read it thoroughly but there is one point I didn't see mentioned. Josh is not a baby or young boy. Surely, he is old enough to tell any judge that he has no wish to be with his mother and have some control over his own life. He is almost legally an adult. It is a good story and I will be doing that re-read soon.
This chapter was a perfect way to end this story. Just the right touches of happiness and melancholy that come with life's big changes. I definitely will be looking forward to Georgetown. Thank you, again, for giving us this series.
This was a wonderful story and thank you for giving it to us. Chris has done a complete turnaround and deserves all his happiness. I did suspect Chris would go into counseling youth as his experiences give him an excellent insight into those issues. As to book 3, I'd also like to know more about Dorian and what was happening to him.
A nice surprise. You've given us a lot of info about a lot of the characters and what their futures might entail. There is so much coming to look forward to. I was going to say the next few chapters should be good, but I realized they'v e all been good. Thank you.
I think Chris' parents probably are uncomfortable and will end up relocating. I look forward to getting to know Rory better. Maybe this is the earth mother's reward for him accepting his punishment and making such drastic and positive changes.
Good chapter. The issue about blacks being stopped is something in the news a lot and I've discussed it with mothers of black teens. As for CJ, the fight illustrated to me how much he was matured and learned to control his anger. Eager to read more,
I was wondering when he would meet his mate. I suspected it wasn't anyone he had met to date as no sparks flew. Ah, more complications, just what Chris needs. I look forward to more.
An amazing chapter and one I've been waiting for. Chris' reaction to everything going on in Parker Valley was edifying and I look forward to seeing where he goes from here.
The Rolodex comment at the end made me smile. It seems obvious to me CJ will one day be running for office. As I read this, I can't help but think about how the election actually ended and what CJ and company would be thinking. As always, a chapter of Walls always makes my Fridays brighter., Have a good weekend.
What Chris wrote about Michael does explain some things. I suspect he was actually gay and violently hiding it. As he was also a power-mad sociopath, it all comes together. As for Chris, his admitting these things and getting them off his chest will definitely help.
Good chapter. I wasn't sure about Patrick - it could have gone either way - but I'm glad he finally felt it was time to come out and be himself. I also enjoyed that this chapter seemed to be more about the conversations than actual action. It was a mice change of pace. I'm also curious about where Tank, Owen and CJ want to go in May. See you in a week.
I love this story but it is marked as in progress. Will you be finishing it at some point? I know you're working on Morningstar, which is also great, but I would like to see Cards finished.
An excellent chapter; I really enjoyed it. I also want to thank you for mentioning how Lourdes and Rich had a major part in their son's growing up. It's been on my mind that, despite how the f-ed it up at the end and all their flaws, they somehow managed to raise two great sons and deserve some credit. I never found quite the right time to mention it until now. Thank you.
It seems to me that Chris' breakdown is actually the start of his true rehab. He hit rock bottom and can now start truly rebuilding his life. I'm curious to see where he goes from here.
