  1. I don't know how I forgot to comment on one of my favorite chapters of my favorite FB story, but I think I wanted to come up with something special to celebrate the happy ending and the brilliant ad idea by Lowell. Every time I read this chapter I end up laughing with joy and the pleasure of a job well done by the clever adman. I'm glad he achieved success in love as well as work life. I can never praise this story enough - or the whole series.

    Explorations

Their explorations are fun, both musically and otherwise. I'm glad I know all will be well with Tony and Geoff eventually, but like @droughtquake I'm sure Stuart will cause some drama, quite intentionally. What an asshole

    Epilogue

We finally got the proper explanation for the 'gods' and the space technology. I liked the concept of the isolated Tolerans having descended into ignorance and stagnation. In one way I would have liked to see the faces of his brother and the rest of them, as they were confronted with the new Seeon, but I have the feeling they are beyond reach and best forgotten.
  5. I love books too, more than any other treat in life. It was wonderful to see Seenon and Mika spending time together and beginning to understand each other better,
  6. I loved how the priest was outwitted. Seeon will have a chance to find himself now he's no longer drugged and confined in dresses and rules of behavior.
  7. I'm glad Mika was patient and persistent, as well as a gentle and skilled lover. For Seeon to feel safe and cared for is nothing short of a miracle.
  8. I'm glad Mika cut the dinner ordeal short: He seems a considerate man and I hope he'll treat Seeon gently.
  9. I liked the marriage ceremony and the vows. They are good omens for their future.
  10. I guess Mika was convinced his promised spouse was a willing participant. I can't wait till Batea and the priest departs, so Seeon can be free of their suppressive influence. The women of his new family are nice even though they are self-centered and brash.
  11. Well, at least his future sister-in-law are nice and clever, even if they're not doing so well in reassuring Seeon or getting to know him. And I loved the way the stood up to the priest and distracted Batea.
  12. Hmmm, I was all prepared to dislike the priests, but it seems they are disgusted at the treatment of Seeon to suppress his gift. His family appear to hold no love for him, so he can't be much worse off in a new country.
  13. Well, at least the King got what he deserved, and hopefully Semon will be a better ruler, even though he does not reverse the Ma' Nee decree on his younger brother. In a way I don't blame him, because he needs to secure the peace.
  14. The king is an evil bastard, but Prince Semon seems to be a decent man. It's unfortunate he doesn't have his father's trust, so he could prevent his sister's death.
  15. I agree completely, but Robbie should still tell Nathan asap. I look forward to Don and Sue being educated by Nathan's parents

    Friendly fire

Thanks, John, I'm glad my tale touched your heart. It's always a challenge to write about something which I have no personal experience of (I mean for Bart's reason), and I must admit I worried about striking the right balance between comedy and tragedy. Your comment shows I managed, which makes me appreciate it even more. As for writing a sequel, I may return to this tale eventually, but I have three ongoing stories that I'm struggling to complete, so they take priority. for reading and commenting.
  17. There are always authors looking for editors and beta readers, so I'm sure your offer will be popular. Another way is to find a story which you like, but which has no editor listed and plenty to edit. Leave some likes and comments, and once you have established a connection with the author, you can send them a polite PM and offer to edit. That's how I got some of my editor jobs.
  18. I'm useless with commas in English, which is frustrating as I'm almost perfect with Danish punctuation. But at least I have editors who are good at it.

    Chapter 5

I'm sure the captain and every one else on the crew is happy to let the mind healer help any victim they have rescued. I hope the robe is so soft and warm it removes the memory of the evil suit.
  20. It's definitely on my reading list, but I hope poor Rich isn't embarrassed too much. Apart from having money troubles when your name is Rich.
  21. I guess having Renee away makes you and us appreciate her even more, right? I had a small chuckle about you citing the last comment in the CSR blog rather than the blog itself. It's something I have to catch myself doing too.
  22. Oh good, I'm glad I wasn't the only one to I'm impressed to see the number of comments when the blog never made it to the top of the main forum page.
  23. I'm with Parker, I want to tell Geoff to get positive, at least when it comes to Tony. He needs to stop doubting that Tony loves him and cares about him and simply enjoy the attention. In fact, it's much easier to be the one giving, and Tony seems to like doing nice stuff for his boyfriend.
  24. That's admirably fast, but I don't mind waiting a week or longer. In some cases, I know the author is busy, and of course getting new chapters is more important. I also don't mind if not all my comments on a story get a direct reply (but a like is nice, so I know it's been read), so I mainly give up if none of my comments get a response. Yup, and that's perfectly OK, especially if there's a message in the story topic or as a status update. Then I know there's a good reason, and I'm not being ignored. I want to mention that I love the new comment system, where readers can reply to other comments and to the author's replies. There are so many great improvements to the updated GA but that's one of my favorites. Thank you to all the GA admin for their hard work to make this a great site for authors and readers alike.
