Well finally, it's about time Victor admitted his attraction to Nobu. But why didn't Nobu simply stay and wait for Vladi to leave? And why didn't he take the rag-in-a-bag? Hmm, I guess kissing Victor has him all rattled.

This may have been the scary-funniest chapter so far. Man, Victor is like an annoying puppy. Poor Dante, I feel almost sorry for him, he got himself cornered with no way out.

Vladi and Nobu working together and Dante getting involved, that's almost scary you know. I'm not surprised Vladi did not want Victor to overhear their conversation. But I was impressed with Nobu being honest about caring for Victor and saying he was not a barganing chip.

The first part of this chapter together with the previous one gave me nightmares. But you made it up to me by the scenes with Dante, Victor and Nobu. I loved Dante chiding Victor for wallowing in his guilt and the brotherhood ceremony was great too. Even if there was no hot bath.

LOL, yes it was. But then it got so late, I couldn't keep up wit the reviewing, even if I had to finish the story. Made me stay up till 3 am, so now I'll have to fight to stay awake at work. I'll be back with more reviews, Cynus.

I hope Nobu makes it quick and painless. Victor really should have known better.

Masahiro is becoming an old fool, who lets his heart rule him as regards his woman and his oldest son. The sighs are there for all to see, but perhaps he'll wake up when the assassin 'unfortunately' dies.

Well, that was something of a surprise, yet not totally so regarding Vladi being gay. And his father is even more of a douche than I thought. But Mr. Morrison is almost worse.

I have to admit I like the idea of Nobu and Dante being brothers and sharing the same ideals, but the plan to make Victor jealous by them pretending to be boyfriends is not good. I fear Victor may go headlong into depression.

Hmm, seems like Nobu's father isn't as clever as he thinks, but more likely Nobu's one-eyed brother is doing a rotten job as head of security, on purpose or not. I can't understand why Nobu doesn't see Dante's info as the perfect chance to point this out to his father. Victor is too gullible and trusting, as well as being an idiot about his own feelings. But I blame his dad for the attitude.

Vladi, you fucking idiot ! How could you crush your brother's heart and soul like that. But I'm glad Victor knows the truth about Nobu, and I don't blame him one bit for rejecting his former friend. Serves Nobu and Dante right for plotting against Victor.

My guess would be Vladi works for the Russian mafia, but if Nobu can't work it out, I must be wrong. Poor Victor, he's but a game piece in all of this.

Yikes, the stakes just got raised a lot higher, and the complications got a lot worse. Both boys are in a bad situation in relation to their family contra their attraction to each other. Nobu just discovered the perfect way to blackmail Victor, but will he use it? And Vladi could be a bigger problem than I thought.

I actually agree with Vladi about Victor being an idiot for trying to live up to his father's stupid ideas rather than living his own life. I bet his brother would be supportive if Victor came out to him.

I like the intelligence of Nobu. He's aware of his weak spots and those of his father, brother and other people. But he does seems to have some kind of conscience, and I bet his dad doesn't know he's attracted to guys.

Reading and writing reviews (or comments or forum posts) can also be good practice for authors. Expressing what I enjoyed about a chapter often makes me think about how I can improve my own writing with similar methods. Or I can show my appreciation of something I'll never be able to match, but that's OK, because at least I know we share the joy of telling a story and getting a response.

I can see I shall have to give this a try, even if I'm not keen on the crime underworld scenario normally.

Yay ! Thank you, my Swedish friend, for this missing part from Frost. It was exactly as awesome as I'd hoped, and I bet Joel in a righteous rage had that officer close to pissing himself. And Lucas was suitably impressed too. I bet he tells Pierce to reinforce the new positive relationship between his best friend and his fiance.

OK, the chapter title actually reaches back to the previous one too. First the healer was interrupted from getting the copper chains by Logan's attack in the previous chapter. Then he was interrupted from killing Logan by Tobyn talking to him, even joking a bit. In this chapter Tobyn also tried to interrupt Kellar's angry rant, and for his part Kellar cut off Logan a few times. I agreed with his choice to come straight out with the truth, and Clarence wasn't angry or even surprised. He also did everything to help and support Kellar in his mission to heal Logan. Because just as Kellar the Healer had been pushed aside by Tobyn's mate focused on saving him, his anger and protectiveness were finally interrupted by the Healer resurfacing, pushing the hate away and replacing it with compassion and understanding. The rest of the chapter was about the hopes and promises. The Alpha's hopes for his son, and Kellar's promises about what he could do and what he hoped to do. It was great to see how both hopes and promises became true, and that Logan's healing seemed much more promising than what Kellar and we dared hope for. Tilly will be grateful and happy. As other reviewers have said, it was wonderful to see the interaction between Logan and his dad, including the promise about not letting him be hurt and about the end of pain. I'm not surprised the reaction of Logan spoke to Kellar's caring side. Great chapter, Gary, and I know the next one will make your readers and even more.

That was a very fairy tale like ending, and we now have an explanation for the existence of goat shifters. Only one thing puzzled me: why did Silver predict their kids would be borne in spring? Wouldn't that depend on when she became pregnant?

I think you should leave them, these flash back chapters are interesting. To me Siggi came across as vulnerable rather than obnoxious, though I did laugh about the cactus comment.

I'm glad he's letting medication help him over the rough spots, I think it was a good decision and Cecilie must think to too, otherwise she wouldn't offer the pills. Well done on the Christmas shopping and now I can't wait to see what Bobby will give St.John.

Jian is too good at distracting Emmett, but it won't last forever. On the other hand, can't Emmett support both of them as long as they avoid expensive stuff like duck? Has Huan even charged Jian rent? And the dog needs someone to be at home for a while yet. Jian as dog trainer sounds like a good idea, but I think he'll depress the dog owners with how easy he maintains control over their pets. Animal handler at a vet hospital might be a better choice or professional dog walker.

LOL, I guess you would have to fight CG for the privilege of making off with any gay uncles with red hair like Jasper. But I'm glad to have another member of Team J. Oh and you may enjoy ch. 32 in particular.
