Why can’t there be a warning on those stories? Those are the kinds of stories I want to avoid! Almost as bad are kids who act and/or speak like adults. Mature is one thing, but a 5 year old doesn’t sound or act like an adult. Teenagers shouldn’t sound Machiavellian. It’s so artificial and annoying. And very few of us are able to tap into endless wealth. My daddy didn’t give me a million dollars. All of those stories should be tagged as Fantasy too! ;-) Well, there is a warning on some of them. Begins with a C. Anyway, it's not easy to write what you don't know, and who can remember being five years old? But you're right about lots of stories being fantasy and needing the willing suspension of disbelief. If they're well written I can accept that.

I didn’t know what it was like, being scared of something that I was feeling inside, while trying to hide it from the people I loved. uhmm, what? Hasn't Jackson been worrying about his feelings for Luke? And he's been hiding it from his parents, his friends and everyone. How is he different from Luke? Anyway, great chapter and Jackson can always say he was shirtless because Connor spilled milk all over it. Derek's embarrassment was hilarious.

I can't get over how Aiden and Matt could be sp stupid. For once Tony's attitude didn't seem too strict at all, lol. Interesting how the parents backed him up, did they only just now realize how spoiled their kids are? It will be interesting to see if the brothers are able to get their act together, especially Aiden if he understands how he may be risking his own future for a cheating asshole. Loved to see rebellious Luke, and Jackson coming out to a few more people.

You're trying to lull us into complacency with this nice chapter, aren't you? Everyone is acting sensibly, being considerate, honest and caring. I know you're just waiting for us to relax and then you'll hit us with major drama or something. But it was great to see how Liam's friends give him lots of support.

Seemingly one or two days at a time in story time. I predict we’ll still be reading about Eric in high school in 2020! ;-) LOL, I always make that mistake. AC tries to catch them and substitute lessons with classes, but this one may have been added after his edit. I'll get it changed asap. There is a long way to the story with most chapters, but you're right, I need to speed up or I'll never get to the Prom.

Kellar is coming to grips with several issues here. Being part of a prophecy; being probably descended from the first savior - or at least given the same wolf by the earth mother; knowing his parents had some hint of the role their son would play, which must have made them desperate to keep him safe. Did they stage the accident to put him into the care of humans, because they were being hunted? It's hard to believe they wouldn't have kept track of him and gotten in touch when he approached the time for his first shift. But maybe part of the vision showed mortal danger if they came near him at all? Vega pack has plenty of things to come to grips with too. Including Logan of course, and Kellar and Tobyn gave him some extra stuff to think about, when they talked about Tilly. We don't know yet how the chips will fall on the proposal for Vega and Morningstar to join forces, but it's pretty clear the pull of earth mates cannot be denied. It was also nice to see them coming to grips with the idea of relegating the 'bad' Logan to the past and accepting the real Logan as their future brother and Tilly's earth mate. Clarence is a good alpha and he knows how to influence his pack. He's come to grips with their situation already, but he understands the value of letting things simmer. If you demand a decision too soon, the result may not be what you want. Better to lay out the bargaining chips one by one: the solution to their financial problems and lack of man power; the need for earth mates and the possibility of Kellar finding more; the illness of Logan and the fact he's Vega's youngest member; the continued danger of the hunters; the prophecy telling them Kellar is the savior which means the earth mother expects them to listen to him. Oh, we all understand it's a lot to come to grips with, but I for one have no doubt on which side the chips will finally fall, when push comes to shove. Most of the action of this chapter may have happened behind the scenes but we got enough hints to feel good about the boys having fun. And the increased dust from the joining helps Vega, right?

Not much I can add to all of the above. We'll cherish the friendship between all of us while we're here. Anything can happen to make any one of us disappear, either temporarily or permanently. It's impossible to live your life thinking about a future death, and healthy living should be done to prolong life because you enjoy it, not for the fear of death. I know you're dealing with your health issues cleverly (those recipes in the forum make my stomach growl, lol), and Michael takes care of you too. I bet you'll exceed expectations like you've done so many times before if so many ways. from Tim

I'm utterly on Granger's side concerning the content of the parlor. But at least Caroline promised he'd never have to face any of that tasteless junk again - and even the nice stuff was pretty much unbearable due to it's connotations. Not something a modest and sensible man like Granger wants to know about. The talk about the other issues was great, though, and I'm glad they are once more aligned and honest in their partnership. Their unity will make Granger stronger and more comfortable in his mind.

Sigh, why do you delude yourself? Destiny told you to trust your feelings. Being scared is OK, but don't lie to yourself. The first instinct is usually correct and of course Bobby was thinking of St. John. For fuck's sake he did his best to turn him on with the way he dressed and exercised. Could he be more obvious without telling him straight out? And Bobby is probably even more scared of rejection and of fucking up their friendship than John is. Now I can't wait to see what happens on New Year's Eve, even though I'm scared of the potential CF of misunderstandings.

I think that's probably one of the most powerful 'closet consequences' speeches I've ever read or heard. It was certainly what Connor needed. He's been worrying about the consequences of being honest right now, and he needed to face the potential damages of NOT coming out now. He also deserved to see how furious his teacher got about the false accusation, name calling is one thing, but Connor crossed a line in a totally unacceptable way. It's not just the pedo thing, but the teacher student relationship makes any romantic or sexual connection absolutely no-no even if the student was of age (sixteen or eighteen or whatever the age of consent is). John had every right to be livid and scared of unfounded rumors, but here the fact Emma is an empath at least protects him, since she would know the truth. I liked the idea of atonement, but I think John is wrong about forgiveness - and has he already forgotten Destiny's admonition? People need to forgive him, not for his sake, but for their own, so they can move on. He needs to forgive himself, and perhaps those who wronged him too. Except Dom - may he rot in Hell.

Sorry about getting behind with my reviewing. But it was nice to return to this chapter with all the warm feelings of Christmas and particularly those two letters that complemented each other nicely. Bobby offered to be there for John and Irene told him to open up to people around him. She doesn't say it directly but I bet she also wants John to forgive himself. We can all see he's much too hard on himself and always tries to shoulder more blame than is fair. The glimpse into his family was both sweet and sad. At least he know his parents wanted him and cared about each other. They were not strong enough to deal with adversity, and even worse they let their innocent child suffer. His thought about the Christmas happiness making the rest of his childhood harder to bear was heart-breaking. It was kind of cute to see Bobby rambling on in his letter, but like Gary I wanted to him for taking the first step to show John how much they mean to each other, as friends in the past and present, and perhaps as more. But even just as friends they can help each other, and I like Bobby for admitting it.

Why does Ryan apologize to what's-her-name? She should keep her nose out of his business and her mind on her work. If she hasn't found out he's a very private person it's about time she learned. To her credit she did leave him alone afterwards, so perhaps the aplogy was a good tactic, but I'd feel better about it if Ryan hadn't meant it. And Erik should stop putting pressure on Ryan. Why the fuck did he tell him to watch that video? Idiot He bloody well deserves to be told Ryan won't do any more scenes. And Ryan should have said no to Erik coming to his place. If Erik want to talk he can pay for a cab to take Ryan to his place, and it should be the next day and not when Ryan is freaking out. Of course I'm not surprised the sex scene was a success

Yeah, uhm nothing much I can say to add to the list of hot damn and need of cold showers. Of course Ryan had prepared himself physically for being penetrated, and he thought he was prepared mentally too. But while he might have been ready to bottom, he wasn't ready to being made love to and given so much pleasure. No surprise Gary realized what was going on (if he's the one who swore). This movie is going to be a huge success.

Ha, ha, no I was the same, Lisa, but I managed to forget the cigarette in the hotness of that kiss. Pretend all you like, Ryan, but that was no pretend kiss and reactions at all.

Amanda was annoying but she kept it cool by telling Erik to ask Ryan out. Of course, she probably doesn't know much about Ryan anyway, so not much for her to gossip about. But if she tried to tease him with Erik she deserves every rude brush off he can come up with. F*ck I have meddlesome females. Ryan managed to surprise Erik with accepting the role and even contributing to the story line. Makes me wonder if there is more behind him being approached for this venture. But if they do become partners for real, they can probably stay in 'their kind of art' by sticking to the same line of movies.
