    Tightly Wound

Well, it seems I was wrong about Ben not telling Travis of Katy's behavior and threat, but at least I was right about Curtis being the cause of the scar. I'm with Travis here, Ben should say fuck it to all the expectations and glitter. He should do the play he likes, and so what if the world learn he's bi. At least, he'll know who his real friends are.

    Hands of Shame

I agree with droughtquake: Katy = Fifty Shades of Black. And is Ben going to do the sensible thing and tell Travis and Mrs. Cooper about her behavior and threat? Of course he isn't, the silly fool. Doesn't he know the only way to deal with a she-devil like Katy is to tell her no one will believe the word of a slutty teenager who flung herself at him in front of witnesses, and in any case he doesn't give a shit about the world knowing he fucked her brother who is actually a good guy.
  3. Mrs. Cooper may be nice but she's oblivious and not much good as a parent. She obviously feels sorry for Katy who probably became a self-centered brat through lack of proper guidance. Even if she was probably Daddy's girl I have the feeling Mr. Cooper was a lot more sensible than his wife. But perhaps not, since his oldest son is a bigoted jerk, who probably caused the scar on Travis' face. Anyway, she probably forced Travis to take Katy with them, which shows Travis is further down her priority list than the pleasure of her daughter and herself. With the moody wayward daughter gone for the day, Mrs. Cooper can indulge in her pottery and mothering Audry. From Katy's behavior in the kitchen we can see she hasn't learnt anything from last night, just as I predicted. I can understand Ben being pissed, but he really brought it on himself. His lack of honesty, his cowardice and his stupid posturing towards Bryan is grating on my nerves. And Bryan seems fed up with it too and actually called Ben on it. But I should probably cut him some slack since we've only known him for a few days.
  4. Once again Ben errs on the side of politeness rather than honesty. Why does he tell Katy it was OK? No it fucking well wasn't OK, and she just proved how little she understood that by having to be prompted by Travis to apologize to Ben. He should have told her the ceaseless curiosity and the kiss was not acceptable but he forgave her. Now she hasn't learnt a thing. Last time I stopped reading this story after chapter, as I disliked Travis drinking and Ben being a dishonest coward, but I'll give it another try.

    Ursa Major

Well, if Ben (or Audry) had cut off Katy's impertinent questions at the start it would never have gotten out of control. The moment she began molesting him physically, he should have gotten up and asked Bryan to change places with him. And the adults of the family should have stopped her too. Travis is the only person with integrity and honesty in that room, the rest of them are insensitive or cowards - and Katy is a menace.
  6. Monday morning was both hectic and strangely calm. Their morning run helped disperse the tension, and showering together made them relax before a hurried breakfast with Grethe. Michael wasn’t allowed to eat anything, because he was having blood samples taken at the hospital, so they wanted to finish eating before he got up. Luckily, he slept late, and in fact they had to wake him ten minutes before the taxi picked them up at nine. Just enough for a quick trip to the bathroom to pee and brush his
  7. Linda may be proof against the big blue eyes of her brother, but her heart melts at the puppy look from Mikey. Now I'm trying to think of something belong to the boys that she and Bobby could wear. Hmm, how about the chains for the pendants and the boys can use a piece of leather cord for one night. Sounds like Kevin's parents are not accepting since he's now staying with his cousins. But at least this will enable him to see Billy from now on. I hope he's on his own - or maybe his cousins brought him to cheer him up. I'm sure they won't mind him joining his old and new friends. I'll have to check the story topic to see if you have added Kevin to the list of characters. I always like those fun glimpses of Benny and Calvin and I can't wait for Cal to see the photo and realize why Ben took it. He should put the sad and happy pics together for his Art project.

    Chapter 40

That scene in the church had me laughing amidst tears

    Chapter 15

Well, I hope Alan is clever and simply calls Helen. She will get back to the Custody people and it's up to them to decide what needs to be done. I bet the Lyntons left a message on the answer phone. Of course the Lyntons will use the zipper accident against the uncles if Troy tells them, so we'll have to hope he's forgotten about it. But if the B.... starts to interrogate him about whether the two guys touch his butt or willy, the incident may come up. I think it's time to bring Lisa into the case, and this may pull her out of her despondent mood.

    Training

It's one thing never to go home, but I hope Jian's mother will let him stay in touch with her. As for marriage they'll get to that in their own time. I was glad to hear Jian is enjoying his job.
  11. Yes it was, I'll have to come back to it at some point.

    Chapter 42

I look forward to seeing the stunt Will is going to pull to deal with Stef's jealousy. But for him the most important thing is to have worked the issue out, so he can deal with Stef's catty behavior without blowing up. He loves Stef and wants him to be happy. So like Will to make an effort to look behind the hurtful actions to deal with the real problem and clever of him to tell Brad to prevent him getting into a fight with Stef about his treatment of Will. Poor Stef, he'll be mortified if he realizes he's been letting those kinds of feelings influence his normally good sense.
  13. Well, perhaps if she was allowed to watch? No one is forbidding you to let the imaginative juices flow on a hot Rob/Jasper encounter.

    Chapter 3

Nathan the I like that, whether he is a future friend or boyfriend. Marty is a good guy, and it's so funny how he gets taken for Liam's boyfriend and manages to get a nice flirt out of it. I'm sure he's capable of telling Alek where to go. Or at least telling him what it would take for Liam's friends to accept him again.
  15. I liked this chapter a lot, but he should have been honest with Rory.

    Chapter 15

Why does Kiorl always do the wrong thing ? Not kissing the fallen angel was OK, but why did he run away? Lahja must be even more confused now.
  17. You have some very good points. We have few homeless teens in Denmark, and most shelters are for adults. The main LGBT issues are with refugees, many of whom have escaped persecution in their home countries. When they come here, they risk a lot of harassment and assault if placed among straight refugees who share the prejudice against LGBT people. It has been discussed whether to have special LGBT refugee housing, but that would mean asking them about their orientation when they arrive, and many will probably not trust the authorities enough to tell the truth. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
  18. Thanks, Gary, I'm glad it was worth the wait and not too difficult to get into the flow. Next time I start a story, I'll make sure to have most of the chapters ready. But I'm glad my readers haven't given up on me. The scene with Henry's children standing united against him slowly grew from how the story developed, so i'm very pleased you liked it. Your words about Isa are a comfort, as I kept worrying if the explanation was acceptable. Kitt's feedback was helpful, as I was feeling a bit resentful on Evan's behalf, so I wondered if he would forgive his mum after Kristin's explanation. As for Henry - we sure don't need him around any more.
  19. Thanks, LL, I'm glad Isa has some supporters, I was afraid people would be mad at her for what she did and her lack of understanding and considerations for what her sons felt and needed. It was a balance to make her actions believable without having her come across as a very selfish and inconsiderate woman. Kristin is a stubborn woman with strong principles. She's also more caring than her mother in some ways. She needs somebody who admires and respects her, but who is confident and has a strong mind of his own. Tor has done well so far, and you're absolutely right about him being clever about how to support her. It may be due to him being used to the independent and willful Danish females. Glad I could oblige you with more Chris - we'll get to the dancing eventually.
  20. Tak min ven Yeah Tor, Chris and Jacob make a great trio of protectors - hot too. I'll see what I can do for Tor. I'm glad you found the chapter fun as well, I enjoyed writing the cake story, and AC wanted bake his rum pecan cake after reading it. I'll do my very best to keep Henry out of the story from now on. I think Chris was clever to use his grandfather's name as a deterrent. None of Henry's kids will miss him much, even if Kristin was Daddy's girl and used to have a good relationship with him. Probably Isa will be the one to feel lonely, but she should have tried to influence him long before things blew up.
  21. Yup, I'm ready to get rid of daddy dearest and focus on the nice stuff. I have a loooong list.
  22. Thank you for reading and reviewing, and you're right about Henry being a nasty sort. However, I think we've seen the last of him, but of course I can't promise he won't pop up unexpectedly at some later stage. Who knows, he may even change his mind about accepting his kids' choice of spouses. At least if he can see a status advantage. But whether they would take him back...
  23. Kitt for giving us a Mum perspective. I think you're spot on about Isa. She should have know better about Evan, even if she did consider him stronger and more independent. She won't make that mistake again. But while Isa may care more for her kids than her husband if she has to choose, she is in fact not a naturally compassionate or perceptive person. She's quite self-centered and concerned about appearances and we know where she gets it from after the twins' visit to their grandparents. On the other hand she's quite stubborn and efficient in getting matters sorted out once she has made up her mind, what she considers the right way to act. She'll do her best for her children and luckily she has the resources to do what she wants.

    Chapter 5

I'm with Marty on this one. Hrishi is way too thin-skinned. But Leon was being his usual obnoxious self, and I want Marty to shut him up. Only way to do that is to come out, which would get rid of Debbie too.
  25. Well, that's a bit of a cluster-fuck. Maybe Ian can start being nice to Carl from now on and see where it leads?
