YES! They finally admitted to the love which has been building between them. What more can we ask? Oh, and I loved dugh's comment, he's absolutely right. Plus I'm sure Clayton's no nonsense approach will break through Ryan's emotional wall. But we still don't know his second issue, you author.

I have the feeling Clayton needs a little blue pill or something to go all the way, and of course he wasn't prepared for Ryan to initiate their lovemaking just then. But he knew what his man needed and I bet he enjoyed having this hot marine moaning and begging on his bed. I'm glad Ryan was honest about his leg disappointment. It's one thing to keep your feelings in check when facing the world in general, but Clayton is a different matter and Ryan need the support to deal with the situation. Holding back just then might have damaged their budding relationship.

I've gotten behind on my reviewing, sorry. This chapter made a strong impact on me. Of course the whole walking-not walking asap was a major thing, but in fact something else hit me like a slap in the face. The first bit about the showers and his thoughts about being faced with all those naked crotches. I don't know why it made me feel strongly, but Ryan's determination to deal with it was simply amazing. His mental strength is astounding.

Beautifully written, Caz. I loved how Oliver was completely focused on Silas' well-being. I bet he was proud of his sub - and impressed by him coming from the whipping alone. The audience probably was too. I did a little at rest-bite for respite, but it was quite appropriate for the moment: a rest from the bite of the whip.

I loved that you noticed the caretaker moments, Gary, I hope they felt natural. Glad you enjoyed some Michael time after his absence in the previous chapters. I know I've done well with him when you fatherly heart is touched. He is a bit spoiled, true, but not in a bad way I think. Anthony and John would probably have liked to be Patrick's friends even before he became part of a couple, but this was their first opportunity to established a connection. I'm pleased you like them, as they will return in later chapters. I love causing impish implosions.

They were surfing the wave of their love and perhaps unprepared for sudden rough spots or what happens when you cross the line and lose your balance. I was impressed by the way they handled every situation, with respect and honesty and caring. Most importantly they did not dismiss the fear of their partner, no matter now irrational, but gave support and reassurance and love. In hindsight, it's easy to understand why Jared would worry about everything being a dream - and later about Craig pulling back due to the hit on he sore spot of Harlan's death. I can also see how Craig could be unsure about his role as Jared's business partner and have a panic attack at the sudden idea of Jared taking Harlan's place that way too. The important lesson here - the 'trick' - is to deal with the knocks and get back up and ride the surf again, knowing your partner will be there to help and cheer you on.

LOL, AC - as if I haven't got enough characters to keep track off. But I'll keep him in mind. Good point about Chris, but I think his religious background is the main factor here. To be honest I don't really want to 'waste' any more story time on him. He's played his role, so Exit Left, Idiot. Yeah, the coach, I'll have to come back to him and how Rob's glib tounge got him out of that situation.

I may have to write the story of how they met and fell in love, jus for you. I'm delighted you liked the talk about Kim, I had such fun writing it. I've always waned to do a spraying-water-all-over-the-place scene, and this was the closest I could get.

Love is cleansing. I loved that description - even if I at the fact they made a bit of a mess too. But like summer rain can wash the dust and the oppressive heat from the air, so can love wipe the slate clean of old hurts and mistakes and misunderstandings. Everything in this chapter was about Craig and Jared doing things together, facing matters together, and deciding their future together. And finally making hot, sweet, fulfilling love, knowing they will always be together.

Thanks dugh, I relish delighting you. I love how everyone embrace the importance of Patrick getting family and friends, embarking on a new life. He may feel overwhelmed and even scared at times, but he doesn't hold back. Having the approval and good wishes of people he likes is a help, though, as you point out, a sort of reality check.

I hadn't thought about Patrick's world getting bigger and including new stuff before you and tim mentioned it, but I like the idea of describing his unfolding that way. I saw it as him opening the door and letting love and people in. Your inuition is faultless as always, Reader. Moster Grethe will indeed fill an empty space in Patrick's life and heart.

Thank you for he first review on this chapter, it made me relax and stop worrying about whether my readers were still on board with the development of the story. Yes, Patrick are embracing a lot of new things in his life, and I think all of it is good so far.

I loved that you focused on those two moments, AC. They were important to me when I wrote them, because I tried to put myself in Patrick's place and imagine how I would feel. Your reaction tells me I got it right. I'm glad you like the imp and the angel, they make me laugh whenever they pop into the story. LOL on the highfive, I hadn't thought about that, but you're right.

You're right, Puppi, Rob isn't going to disappear from Eric's life. He'll be back to ask those annoying question, tease and put his foot in his mouth - in other words be his normal charming self. Eric will mature and flourish in his own way with Nelson by his side. It will give him the confidence needed. Rob in college - I'm glad JAR is writing a version of that story, in case I never get round to it.

LOL, of course Rob enjoyed putting his mighty fine body on exhibit, but he'd probably like it even better if there were people present who really appreciated it. The whole deal with Rob being free - or at least less tied to home - now that Eric has Nelson, suddenly struck me as I wrote this chapter. I'm pleased to see it makes sense to everyone else too.

I enjoyed reading the story again, even if the urge to punch Sar was bigger than ever.

Hey Victor, not to worry I'm happy to know you're reading and very impressed you managed to get through all 46 chapters in one go. And that you like the story. I suggest you leave reviews on those chapters where you really feel the urge to comment, rather than feel obliged to do all of them. You can go read he Rob parts in Meta without reading the whole thing, though of course there will be a few spoilers if you intend to read all the books. Just make sure to only read the parts with Jett, Rob and Bradley. I can see why you understand Rob's need to get away from his parents, even if they are nice and accepting. We all need to spread our wings and achieve independence and then we can hopefully return to their love.

Blond boys in the shower with soap, sigh.... The trio of Rob, Jazz and Mitch could get anyone in a good mood. Tobias may have attracted the attention of the wrong guys at first, but now he's offered protection and friendship by the really popular teammates. He'll be OK, but I loved that you cared about Tobias, it's very telling of the great person you are. LOL, yeah the coach - to be honest I forgot about him, so I had to add the chapter note at the last minute.
