  1. This topic reminds me of one of the few cases where Danish have two words for the same English term. Usually, it's the other way round. To smell can be either lugte or dufte in Danish. Lugt (n) and lugte (vb) implies an odor which smells unpleasant. Duft (n) and dufte (n) implies a pleasant scent / smell.
  2. I can imagine Behrman's Gertie looking down at him from Heaven and nodding with satisfaction at his decision to help the two women. "Ja, Ja, mein lieber Mann." And being remembered with fondness and gratitude isn't the worst epitah for an lonely old painter.

    Home Places

I've missed Denny and Greg, it's great to see they are doing well. I wonder if this is the first time Denny has walked around half naked in his parents' place. Jay and Mikey getting all wet while washing the car was cute, but falling asleep in the sun wasn't so clever, lol. Apart from the embarassment of being found by their new friends, I worry about them getting sunburned in awkward places. How would Miles ever explain to his parents? And I think Jay might be in trouble from not telling about their visitors, but knowing him, he'll soon persuade Mikey to forgive him. Thank you for another great chapter, and to Gary for making it happen.
  4. I wondered the same as Val of course. But I think the answer matters a lot. If he did drink, he'll always wonder if he could have become a whole person without it. If he doesn't drink and he loses the confidence he had when leaving the hut and returns to hating his white skin, he'll regret not drinking. The sun affected him physically, making him weak - was that only in his mind? If not, then drinking could be the best option. Shamans can be frustrating at times.
  5. LOL if I had know this small detail would be so distracting I would have left it out. My mum insists on ironing everything, and this particularly bedlinen is simply luxurious. Anyway focus... I'm glad you found the lovemaking beautiful, then I've achieved my aim. Peter is the calm, logical type. He'll do his best to take in everything Patrick tells him, as he wants to know everything about him. He might draw the line at the imp and the angel, though. Uhmm, it's two souls one thought, but I know what you mean.

    Man Crush Saga

I haven't heard it either, Puppi, it's not something we do in Scandinavia, apparently. Baker's parallel rant was hilarious, as well as the problems they had convincing the two others they were serious. Corey's worry about their friends prodding being the only reason they've moved into a relationship so fast was kinda cute. Oh and my favorite phrase: Your move, Buttinski.
  7. Thanks, Gary, I'm glad you liked it. I hope you saw Reader's review.
  8. Aww, Drew, you always make me smile. I liked your way of seeing the two souls concept, and I think you're right. They didn't only join physically but with every part of their being.
  9. I'm glad you liked the love scene and that Patrick's lack of experience didn't seeem awkward. Peter has finally found what he needs and he has no intentions of holding back, once he's sure his man likes it. The 'coming out' scene was quite a relief to me too. I didn't want to make a big deal about it, but on the other hand Patrick knew he needed to share this important part of him.

    The aftermath

I had to laugh a bit about the impatience over the hit man's identity, the police didn't know yet. It was a bit sad to separate the dogs, but we don't know if they came in together. They are different ages, so not siblings. Getting a dog was a great idea, but I can understand Dean pouting a bit.
  11. good morning to you, Cia. and now I can't like your replies, DDK, cause I foolishly used all of them on your story. I read it before I began using the like button, so now I'm trying to make up for that. btw Sean was actually my favorite character, I liked seeing a mature gay man portrayed so nicely.
  12. That hitman really is a pro, waiting till Dean has been lulled into relaxing. But at least his guards next door were alert.
  13. That's perfectly understandable. I guess I'm used to things having shifted to the new day, when I get home from work, but this happened earlier than usual today. So what's the time where you are now, Cia? It's 5 pm here.

    Chapter 22

I think Casey is spot on about Joshua and Shade is being a bit naïve. On the other hand, Shade's way of dealing with him by ignoring the guy and pretending he isn't flirting is probably better than Casey's possessive reaction, which the jerk thinks is funny. Casey finally learned to ask, listen and wait before flying off the handle. I bet his dad was surprised too.
  15. It's a complicated plan with some drawbacks, but I can see the police's point. If Dean wants to date John for real, he would have to be out anyway.
  16. I liked the story, also because I finally found someone else who liked describing rather than doing dialogue. shouldn't this be at the top of the forum page, bwt?

    Another Gunshot

This is where the criminal stuff goes from random to personal and rather scary for Dean.
  18. Aww, thanks, CG, your reviews fill my heart with warmth too. I'll do my best to give you what you hope for. You're right about Peter doing well on being told about Patrick's special talent, but perhaps he was a little dazed after enjoying another of his lover's abilities.
  19. I think the votes for Richard Scarry and against the woman next door are pretty much unanimous, lol. Yes, Arthur will definitely leave his roses to Grethe's care and visit them often to make sure they are well looked after. Everybody loves coming home to a nice meal after a long day at work, right? But for Patrick the company and family feeling are even better. Thank you for the double review.
  20. Very true, my dear dragon, since the love making scene was actually the last part of the old version. The ESP coming out was written recently and felt as a natural extension of them being intimate physically. You are right about P&P having a lot more future to explore. Thank you for staying with the story and reviewing.
  21. Thank you, Parker, I love that you pronounce them perfect Valentines for each other. It warms my heart to have so much praise from one reader after another for this crucial love scene.
  22. Thank you, what a relief you found it satisfying. And I completely get the envious part. Michael was easily persuaded I think, perhaps with a promise of Grethe reading a story.
  23. Jeez, Reader, you're making me blush. I'm honored to be compared with Gary, but he's in a league of his own when it comes to love scenes. Well, when it comes to writing stories, actually. The Georg Jensen Damask bed linen requires ironing or the use of one of those machines which rolls your linen with heat / pressure. You can see the duvet covers here http://www.georgjensen-damask.com/facet-bed-linen-beautiful/ I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, it was an important moment in their relationship.
  24. LOL, she only ironed them. Peter made the bed himself. Glad you enjoyed the chapter otherwise.

    Fragments

I chuckled a bit at the thought of Preston 'accidentally' having a condom which fit Indie. Although, with the way he rode him, Preston is clearly a pro. I loved how Indie was able to joke and enjoy the sex, but the real gift was sleeping in Preston's arms. I did have a favorite phrase: witness to the side of Preston that falls apart. As for the relationship abuse, I wanted to hunt the bastard down and lægge ham på hjul og stejle Good thing Indie has a personal attack twink now.
