Chapter 20: A Perfect Day
Timothy M. commented on AC Benus's story chapter in Chapter 20: A Perfect Day
It's difficult to express how joyful we are that Jack survived and saved everyone. At least that's how I think of it. He saved his siblings from unimaginable regret and from being unfeeling jerks for the rest of their lives. He rescued his Family from falling apart and his mom from feeling she could have done more to save him. He made sure Dawn and Jackson would have a Destiny together, because I do not think they could have had a relationship with him gone. He gave Linc's parents the chance to redeem themselves and tell their son they are proud of him and love him. And of course most of all he saved Linc from the devastating pain of losing the love of your life, your 'one and only', the man you are meant to be with forever and ever. That was Jack's Destiny, and I'm glad you never considered another. -
The link didn't work for me. (I got to the story but it wouldn't display.)

I'm guessing it's Jenson's twin brother, and he has become insane during the same incident which gives Jenson nighmares. Howevert, I hope it did not happen before J became an envoy, because that would mean the guy has been nuts for 150 years ! Another possibility is that it's his lover/husband, but that would be bad for Merrick's chances, so I hope not. Hmm did Jenson ever check his messages? I think it was just as well Merrick didn't get the chance to divulge his crush. Jenson would have either have felt uncomfortable or not believed it, and the rejection might have damaged their relationship (as friends) badly. And dating someone 12 times your age then you're 16 is perhaps somewhat difficult on your parents.

Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (III)
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (III)
Thanks AC, I know I've done well, when I can make you laugh and add !! lol to your edits. A touching chapter - perhaps in more ways than one. But yes, they are still feeling their way forward in this new relationship, trying to smooth the small knots which are bound to pop up. I hope I'll get the next chapter to you soon. -
Milk, Cookies and Chocolate Cake
Timothy M. commented on ColumbusGuy's story chapter in Milk, Cookies and Chocolate Cake
So now the farm will become a safe haven for more than Jay and Mies. Why am I not suprised? I liked Jay's dad laying down the rules for his sons' visit to OSU, he did well in reminding the older guys of their responsibility, yet not demand the impossible. Of course the boys are couples no matter how far they've gone, it's what in their hearts that matter, and we have no doubt about that. This goes for Ben and Cal as well, and they are sure makign up for lost time! One hot wrestling match coming up - and I think Ben won't mind losing. -
So the simple solution here is to call Reece's mum on speaker phone and let Dave witness how awful she is and how hurt Reece feels. Maybe then he'll understand and stop doubting Reece. But since Reece probably hasn't told Dave how badly his parents and older generation family treat him and how difficult it is for him to deal with it, out of some misplaced loyalty and pride, he carries part of the blame for this misunderstanding.

Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (III)
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (III)
Thanks for my 400th review, Isaac, I'm grateful for every single one I've gotten, my readers are awesome. Having Nelson and Eric talk seems to make you all happy, so as I said to dugh, I'll keep them doing that. Amongst other things Oh yes, Eric is a man with a mission now. The prom is gonna be a blast. Every single one of them. -

Aww, dughlas, thanks for writing such a delightful review, which by the way moved the story one place up on the most reviewed list. 14th place, can you believe it?? I laughed out loud at the Eric-channeling-Rob idea, but I have to conclude you're right. Rob would be so proud and Eric probably slightly mortified if we told them. But what really got to me, was the part about knowing and loving Nelson, and how true his prom dream was. There are so many shy teens out there (boys and girls), with hopes and wishes but no expectations. Nelson has finally gotten lucky in love, and it's something we all deserve. Don't worry, I'll keep them talking. -

Thanks min ven, I think your J&M story has taught me a lot about the importance of (teen) communication. Yes, Eric may need to learn to spot the signals - or perhaps Nelson needs to be up front about his feelings. But they are both determined to make this work, and that includes being honest with each other - as well as lots of kissing etc. I'm glad the cherry moment made you laugh, AC also liked it a lot. However, I don't think they'll be able to go to a hotel after the junior prom, not even with Rob and Jasper as support team. Eric's parents are liberal-minded but not that easygoing! And sneaking off during the prom may be difficult too, particularly if they attract a lot of attention as a hot / cute couple. -

Thanks my fellow Scandinavian, yes guys who can talk honestly are awesome. I think they know how to be silent together too, just enjoying being together, reading watching a movie or whatever. The Prom, oh god I don't want to contemplate how many chapters I'll have to write before I get there. Hmm, I may have to fastforward a bit. -

Good morning Gary, I'm glad our resident expert on sweet romance approves of the chapter. What comes naturally to you is a struggle for me, but practice makes perfect (or so I'm told). Maybe after another 40 chapters or so, I'll write teen love as easy as pi(e). -
It's interesting how those who dislike Will rarely or never are able to acknowledge any of his good qualities or kind acts, whereas we who like him readily admit whenever he's made a mistake or is less than perfect (ie human). I wonder why?
-
Hmm, so many things are implied in the prologue, but your reply to Drew answered one of my questions. The phrase 'marry the one your parents show you' as well as the fact Karan and Sam have to get their parents' permission, and even more: are considering marrying quite young (right after graduation), tells me we're in unfamiliar settings. So now I'm guessing India or somewhere similar. Of course it's also implied that Kunj isn't out to anybody (not even Karan), apart from his fuck buddy, who isn't out either and is expecting to have difficulties finding someone else to be with. So there is a lack of acceptance of gay people, right? Finally I find it interesting how Kunj sees those two choices as mutually exclusive. I'd say he could do the casual stuff (glad to see he was using protection) until he found love. But then we Scandinavians are relaxed about pre-marital sex (for both genders). It will be interesting to follow the story, Victor.

The Drawbacks of Being a Monster
Timothy M. commented on Cynus's story chapter in The Drawbacks of Being a Monster
Awesome - but the real challenge will be to explain the male pregnancy to all the humans ! They may have to go away for a while. -
Daniel and Sim are very, very lucky to have found such forgiving guys ! Going behind their backs was not very clever, particularly since being honest about their wants would have lead to sex without guilt. But making up for their bad behavior will probably be fun, lots of fun.

Tack, my Swedish friend, I'm so glad you used the old prompt to get this chapter out. We want to know all about Levi and George, even though we know where the story is headed. The bond is interesting and makes a lot of sense. But I bet Levi only gets those other feelings because they are also compatible in another way. I mean, we know they are, but if they were not, they might still have the bond, but not romantic love.

LOL another vote for cute Thanks, pal, I'm flattered you found it realistic. I hate it when misunderstandings drag on and on, and the boys wanted to talk about something a lot more interesting. -

Thanks LL, I seem to have hit the right mix of romance and hotness. Yes, they are both honest, and while they may blush they are not ashamed of how they feel. I'm glad you caught the slight sadness of Nelson's dreams, he's been in love with Eric for a long time, and he's still in the 'I can't believe my luck' stage. So is Eric, and they want to show their appreciation, if you know what I mean. Yep, the prom issue is solved, but why was Eric asking about them being the only same-sex couple? -

You're welcome, Drew, I'm glad you liked your chapter. I don't think I've had a review with three 'cute's before, lol. But since everyone else seems to agree, I guess I accomplished my mission. Yes, they will share all their dreams and thoughts, they may be introvert / shy, but once they trust, it's full steam ahead. I may have to let Eric expand on his fantasies about Nelson, just to keep the balance. Yup, one nosy Rob coming up. -

Thanks Suvitar, I'm still sort of surprised at having created a cute teen couple. But at least they're not falling into the trap of miscommunication and assume. Glad you approve. -

Hi tim thanks for reviewing. I'm not sure I understand your question. Nelson's parents have been there since the boys came back from the Mall in ch 30. You did read the whole story from the beginning, right? Anyway, I hope we will eventually arrive at the prom, but as you can see the story progresses rather slowly. I'm glad you like it, and I hope you'll be patient and keep reading. -
Prompt 323 Can I talk to you? (III)
Timothy M. posted new chapter in Timothy’s Terrible Prompt Stories
“Nelson, can I talk to you?” Eric knocked on the bathroom door and waited for a reply. The sound of the toilet flushing was the only thing he heard. He waited some more, giving Nelson time to finish, but his boyfriend didn’t appear. He knocked again, but when nothing happened, he went a few steps further along the corridor and slipped into his own room. The door to the bathroom was ajar, letting in enough light to show Nelson sitting on Eric’s bed with his back to the door, his shoulders slumped- 27 comments

I agree with Merrick's mother. Jer needs to add a k to his name to describe him. Using a nickname his lover hates (I assume Merrick told him several times but has given up), being all pouty when his attempts to make Merrick late fails, deliberately embarrassing Merrick in front of his mother. But at least Merrick won't have to feel bad about leaving anyone nice behind. Am I B-loved? Ha, I'm looking forward to hearing Jenson's answer to that question, but I guess it might be a calm yes, since he'll probably still consider the boy an innocent kid. Which he is at that point, but not much longer. I agree with JAR, we want to know a lot more about them, before we finally see them meet as adults and equals. How long has it been since they last saw each other?

Yeah, thanks Gary for saving this chapter, I would have been sad to miss out on even more hot darkroom fun. Once Ben works out how much Cal likes it when he is protective and caring and in charge, Ben will find the right mixture of confidence and asking permission. But having dinner with Cal and his grandmother is a good idea, they need so spend as much time together as possible to reestablish the trust and heir bond. Making good memories instead of bad may be Greg's best idea so far. And I love how Jay and Mickey created the possibility and spread the good vibes. Denny will get there, it may take time, but the first steps of a new journey into adventure is the hardest. I have the feeling Denny will be surprised how much he'll enjoy seing Greg climax (by his own hand) while giving treatments. Plus if they can manage to talk about it, tying Greg's hands above his head may enable Denny to feel enough in control to venture into oral sex. But like Greg said, they have plenty of time for love. Still waiting for the gækkebrev to arrive.

Chapter 19: All My Heroes
Timothy M. commented on AC Benus's story chapter in Chapter 19: All My Heroes
You know how much I've ranted against the hospital and Mrs. Shaw for not getting Linc the family rights to be with Jack. So I love the irony of you using this very issue to obtain permission for them to marry. For I have no doubts this played a huge part in swaying the judge, and to me it was the one irrefutable argument. We and Mrs Shaw may know their love is eternal, but the cynical will never credit this. But there are more non-visiting time than visiting hours a week, and asking the right to be with your loved one as he dies or the need to see the face of your beloved as you wake from surgery, now this anyone can relate to. If he said no, it would haunt him forever, particulary if the press got hold of it. And Jack has been given the best and final incentive to fight on, knowing his husband is there waiting for him, that none may ever doubt their love and commitment, that all he has gone through is worth it, for Linc is his reward. And we hope Jack will be Lincoln's reward, too.
