  1. Any feedback is welcome, even simply telling me whether you liked the chapter or not.
  2. LOL, thanks - but that's because you've only seen CC and my prompt story. Both of those were written after several years of writing descriptive stories with hardly any dialogue, and after I'd been under the influence of all the great stories here at GA, not to mention the tough but fair and loving guidance of Kitt and AC as editors/betas.
  3. Don't miss the story forum, where you can see various links and explanations about the places and other matters related to the story.
  4. Thank you very much, I hope you'll keep reading and enjoying the story. Always nice to welcome new readers.
  5. Ditto from me, I'm flattered, Dark. Also thank you to whoever ask the question and thus gave me the chance to feature here.
  6. (or in other words I'm speechless over the love and sensuality and beauty of this HOT chapter.)
  7. Tillykke med fødselsdagen waves Danish flags
  8. There was actually one Prompt 425 posted, but JAR forgot to add it to the topic. And I promise to get mine done.
  9. To me you are simply Thorn, no matter which body you inhabit or the gender you display / identify with at any time. And I'm in awe of you - in a good way.

    Prologue

Marc needs to stop clinging to Brad, and Brad needs to take a stand. Maybe they should go see the therapist who helped Brad and Robbie. Of the four relationships were saw portrayed here, this is the one I wouldn't mind crashing, unless the dynamics changes (which I hope). Matt and Wade are solid, Zach and Will volatile but strong, JJ and Alex live in a minefield, and Marc and Brad are descending into a dull, stiffling cocoon. I wonder where they'll all be one year from now

    Chapter 31

I would think it more likely that Jardines is the contact rather than the Govenor, or maybe both of them together. But perhaps it is someone else, who vill be there at the reception. I'm glad Jardines has found someone to love, and I hope he'll stay. I cannot wait to get rid of the Elgins and Granger probably feels the same way.

    Chapter 30

One wonders what Lord Elgin is doing to his poor wife causing such loud objections. Perhaps he not only grew a pair but is also getting to empty them in various ways - one of which would certainly muffle her.

    Chapter 29

I'm once again impressed with Granger's ability to be both honorable and diplomatic, even in the face of petty whining and boorish behavior. Good thing he had someone to vent his annoyance on, lol.

    Chapter 19

What about the friend Jenny has with the police? He or she might be helpful. A suspicion of murder would open the case back up, but I guess they need some sort of proof. On the other hand surely gather Gregory can tell Drake more about what exactly happpened. Did Daniel come out to him? Did pastor Simms overhear or did he tell him afterwards? When did Daniel leave and how long was this before he was found dead? However, I don't want to have too much focus on this, as I prefer to see Silas developing his trust and love for those who care about him. Particularly more Brady talks, please.

    Chapter 47

He, he, I'm imagining the conversation Doug had with Rod. I bet it was epic. Neil seemed to have gained some confidence from having dealt with this on his own, even if we shake our heads about the way he went about it. I feel sorry for Ty, he's doing his best to encourage his teammates and hide his own disappointment about not being approached. We know the reason and that his dream will come true (if all goes well), but it's still hard to watch. Peter is beginning to groom Will and Julie to take over if he gets the job. This chapter had a lot of people refusing to look others in the eye, lol. Including Clarissa, concerning her interest in Deon. And I'm proud of Deon, he's come a long way since the end of last book. Oh and I loved Peter's expression about the sharks starting to circle.
  16. You mean Sleipnir ? (Odin's eight-legged stallion)
  17. Good to get some Will Drama and nice to see those three very different brothers being there for each other. Shame Mary Ellen didn't die giving birth. But then I guess we wouldn't get as much drama and intrigue... I'm worried about Stef and JP. I hope they get over whatever is wrong.
  18. Me too. But we could still get them done, I'd love to see what you got out of that promising first line.

    Chapter 1

I'm glad to see Will is in fine form.

    Chapter 2

I agree with Gary, Dylan freaking Quin out by staking him was hilarious, even if the background is serious. Zeke and the carpal tunnel had me laughing too. It's good that Quin calls Zeke, he will cheer him up.

    Chapter 1

So what caused Quin to leave? Was it the first time Amos actually hit him? This is the third time I'm reading your story and I'm having trouble imagining him being with Amos for 'years' - as in 5-6 years or more. Particularly if he already started hating him after six months ! Anyway, I liked the tale of him walking off and getting to meet Zeke, and the protective she-bear had me Tommy the Hunter is an old favorite too.
  22. To me one reason to read (or write) fanfiction would be to fill out the gaps in the lives of the characters I liked and wanted to know more about. But I can see how writing new characters in the existing universe would be creative on a completely other level.

    Chapter 18

Wow, Drake certainly doesn't hold back once he's taken the plunge. Flirting with Brady and asking him on a date and promising to call again. This should keep Brady content for a few weeks, and maybe even cause a new song to appear.
  25. Kendall Giftekniv Loved the title Poker Face and the description Calling your bluff was spot on. It's not surprising Kendall had the best poker face, after all he's had plenty of practise while hiding from Ace how he felt about him. Michael cannot do this, his face is an open book and his feelings are out there for all to see. Luckily in this case it helped winning the game. I guess it wasn't so much a case of bad cop / good cop, but more like honest cop / devious cop, lol. But in addition Deuce had the advantage of initially staying outside and observing the game, and that meant he could concentrate on finding the right trump to play. He did it perfectly and Ace knew it, once he'd had time to think it over. Make-up sex, huh? Why do you keep shutting the bedroom door in our faces? And Ace likes Deuce to be forceful in bed?! Why do I have the feeling they will argues about who will top first - both of them insisting they want the other to pitch first.
