Prompt 460 Who invited you?
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 460 Who invited you?
LOL, I'd say that was one of the purposes of an author of an incomplete story, leaving his readers wanting more. You do too... I can see you're a core member of Team Rob. -

Thanks, CG, that was actually my favorite part too. Yes, Rob had a Sharp eye for Trevor's feelings, but you'll have to remember he also saw him together with Nelson at the Junior Prom. As to Ryan et al, see the forum. -

I honestly didn't see this as a cliffhanger! But I'm glad you like Trevor. He and Rob should have fun teaming up as the GSA representatives at the Junior Prom. As for anything else, nope (as you rightly concluded). But I'll try to think of something nice for Trevor in college. -

LOL, Rob will always be a bossy, big brother. At least we can hope he'll use his people management skills for good causes. Yes, Eric as GSA president might work out well, and I don't think he has a chance against the combined persuasion skills of Nelson and Rob. -

You're welcome, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. We'll have to see what happens with the GSA, the Eric for President was a spur of the moment lightbulb moment for me too. Feel free to come up with suggestions for the bigot confrontation, my mind is blank -

Yes, Rob is actually quite observant - although he did miss the signs with Melanie, plus Eric managed to evade him for a while about being gay. But I think he does best when he's on a mission and alert, which was the case here. Another Rob chapter? hmm, see the story discussion forum. -

Thanks, Victor. I feel a little bad for Trevor too, maybe I should tell his story and what happened after he went to college. He's a great guy, and I'm not sure Nelson appreciated him enough. Actually, AC pointed this out to me, since I was almost as oblivious as Nelson. -
“Who invited you?” The disgust and annoyance was obvious in Ryan’s voice, but Rob was pleased to see Eric and Nelson ignored the second baseman completely. “I did!” Rob flashed a quick grin at his new ginger-haired friend across the coffee shop table, as they both spoke at the same time. Jasper gestured at him to keep going. “And why shouldn’t they be here?” Rob stared at Ryan who tried to look unconcerned. When Rob had joined the gathering a few minutes earlier, he had been hailed as the game

The story of a man who wasn't ready for love, who ran away from it, but by some miracle was granted another chance, after he'd realized what he'd lost and strove to become worthy of the love of a good man.Wonderful, tim.

Ah, as we expected, sigh. Somehow, it makes sense that Kel was to have been Jenson's husband, but something prevented that. My guess is this was Jenson biting Kel during sex, and Kel turned out to be allergic or it went wrong in some other way. But all that matters is that Jenson is finally talking to Merrick and this secret which might have kept them apart will no longer be an issue. Oh, I'm not saying they will fall into each other's arms, but now their love has a chance. What stood in their way, as I see it, was not so much Kel as a person, but Jenson's guilt. His guilt over what happened to Kel, but even more importantly his guilt over falling in love with someone else while Kel was still alive. This was a chapter of closure, but also an opening for a new love to be born. Wonderful.

Always Room For One More
Timothy M. commented on ColumbusGuy's story chapter in Always Room For One More
Yeah, Gækkebreve. Mit navn det står med lopper, pas på de ikke hopper. :rol: But even more fun was the scene at Pizza Hut. I was almost crying with laughter when Mikey declared he wanted to see what Jay put in his mouth. Well done on catching Billy on the gaydar, maybe it gets stronger when they're in a group. I can't imagine how cool it must be for a guy like Billy to suddenly have a bunch of peers wanting to include him. Wonderful, CG. -
I'm glad you liked the opening, I wasn't sure about it at first, so it's nice to know it worked. That short early morning dialogue had me smiling, too, when I wrote it. Yes, the jeweler does enjoy his job very much in those situations, and I think both twins and their partners will be nice memories for him. And not another word about the silver ring.
-
Welcome to CC, Parker, and thanks for letting me know how the story made you feel. I'm glad you could share in the contentment of this chapter, I think everyone needed it. I bet the images of ring shopping in your head were better than any I could provide. I have a great time imagining my readers trying to say Danish words. Why did Chris blush over Russ' compliment? That's an excellent question, and I've thought about the answer, even before I posted the chapter. I have the feeling Chris isn't used to such open approval and admiration. It's one thing to be adored by your boyfriend, but hero-worship form a younger brother has never happened to Chris before. I suspect he sort of likes it, even if he's slightly embarrassed at the intensity.
-
Sigh, yes, we do need something to cheer us up after another Paris tragedy. I hadn't thought about feeling sorry for Jacob for missing out on all the fun, but you're quite right. However, I'm sure Russ will tell him all about the visit to the jeweler and the lunch. Unless they find some other way to spend the evening.
-
As always you have a good point. Russ has indeed come far in three months, and in fact I wasn't able to predict this 6 months ago. I'm not sure Russ likes everything about himself yet (but then who does?), but he definitely knows Evan needs him as much as he needs Evan. Yes, Chris is not only good for Evan, he's good for Russ too, and in fact for Isa as well. Oh, and you're so right about Chris and Jacob getting along well and having to stand together against the dreaded twin power.
-
You're welcome, Victor. I'm delighted you had so much fun. Yes, Danish is not the easiest language to pronounce. Affection and respect are good (mutual) words to describe the relationships the twins have with their partners. I'm sure your imagination about the rings is better than anything I can come up with. In fact, I did try to find images, but no luck. As to the Sir part, go back and read ch 9 and 10 again. I think perhaps the jeweler has not only gaydar but a wider sixth sense. Calling Chris Sir came naturally, and once he'd started with it, he sort of kept going. But it's not terribly important for the story. The hungry birds will have to wait for a bit, but hopegully not too long.

Ha, ha, I'm glad I can get you to blush after all the hot Crave moments. We'll see who gets to the big moment first, J&M or J&R. Hmm, I just realized your guys have the same initials as CG's. Coincidence or...? Anyway, I'm sometimes surprised too, at the change in Russ, when I go back and read the earlier chapters. As I had to do just before posting this chapter, in order to get the timeline right. (Have you worked it out yet?) The new confident Russ is wonderful, so let's hope it lasts.
-
Yes, this was a chapter of tender moments, and I'm proud of Russ for being the instigator of several of them. He's getting in touch with his emotions again, and while Jacob is the main reason for that, there are other positive forces at play. And indeed, Chris is one of them. The whole day made me smile while I wrote it, and I'm glad you feel the same way. Family bonding is important. The twins are still making themselves known, but right now I have another guy yelling louder (you-know-who).
-
You're welcome, Drew, I'm delighted you liked it so much. LOL, twin power, I guess you're right, it's an irresistible force. This chapter does have quiet a few tender moments, see also my reply to Def. But the ring moment had me too. I promise Jacob will feature more in the next chapter.

I agree with Parker. But the way Felix presses all Dorian's buttons, he'll never be able to let him good. And Felix sure is good for him, not only with the sex but also with his various issues, eg the scar. And Dorian is very good for Felix too. And re HOT sex: you're gonna owe me a new keyboard, the drool and whatnot is gonna mess it up to the point of no return. Even with my Danish Drool Diverter from Kitt.

Levi is right, but so is George. I agree with JAR, this was bittersweet.
-
You're right, dragon, this was a fairly relaxing chapter. I think we need some of those after all the drama. I'm glad it made you smile. See my reply to CG about Chris, I hope this does away with your unease. They're a littly kinky in bed sometimes, and if you don't like that, I quite understand. I hope you can ignore the hints and skip any descriptions which might appear (not saying they will). But, Chris is a good guy, truly.
-
I love you calling Chris 'a good man' because that's exactly what he is, and he recognizes goodness in other people, so he's drawn to Evan's family (well, most of them so far ) and to Jacob and his family. Being welcomed with open arms means a lot to Chris. As for accepting Evan's bond with Russ, Chris will do anything to have Evan be this happy. So far he's only seen Evan-without-Russ and Evan-missing-Russ-desperately, and while he fell in love with the first version, he's utterly fascinated by the Evan-together-with-Russ he experiencing now. I like Russ better now too.
-
I'm intrigued to see your reaction to the D/s hints. Did you think about the fact that they were mostly given via Russ who may not have quite the right understanding of his twin's relationship with Chris? Because it's actually the exact situation you describe: something kept in the bedroom but not influencing their life otherwise. Or at least not beyond the occasional teasing, and a tendency of Chris to be somewhat possessive. I hope this explanation removes some of your worries. But I'm glad you're still kindly disposed towards Chris and you're right: he adores Evan. And you're also right about Evan needing to recover. I didn't plan it this way from the start, but I gradually realized the parallel between the twins in this matter.
-
LOL, I'm glad you liked that fungus joke too, it's probably my Danish background which has me thinking mold whenever I hear that phrase 'grew on me'. Yes, Russ realizing how he hurt Evan was indeed a crucial part of the chapter. That scene has been slowly evolving in my mind and finally came to the surface. I'm very pleased all of you have seen the significance or been touched by it, because this rift needs healing before the twin bond can become stronger than ever. Let's hope Chris and Jacob agree with you about the twins not being apart. Oh and your evaluation of Isa sounds about right. Thanks for reviewing.
