Probably a more effective deterrent against drinking and driving (DUI) than many a campain I've seen. And a harsher punishment than any fine the driver could get. So sad.

Of all the things Amy subjected Silas to today, I think the hardest one for him to accept was "Get home safely." Silas is nowhere near accepting Ian and Amy's place as home, but of course we want him to get there eventually. The interest and insight Drake has in the workings of families could be the basis of a great future as a psychologist and therapist with families as a speciality. Particularly considering the compassion and protective instincts he displayed towards Chelsea. But of course he need to get his own issues dealt with first and find his way back to Brady. We're following that journey with our fingers crossed.

A whole chapter full of foot ball stuff Loved it. Interesting that Peter is also under scrutiny as coach by interested clubs, and I wonder if Patrick will remember the tidbit about Julie and pass it on. It's a shame Ty's talk with Patrick turned to Deon so quickly, but I hope he remembers to tell Dave about Patrick's comments, next time Dave puts himself down. Tony's comment about Jim was certainly an eye opener for all of us, but I think he's absoultely right. Dad thrives in the Leopards due to the acceptance and support and he's probably too vulnerable still, to be without it. The other team that's interested in him might be a better option, although the Carlton team did seem fine with Jim being gay. And I think Ty and Jim together will be better than apart. Glad to see Neil at Radio Pride and making Progress with his parents.

Thanks CG, I'm relieved and plased you approve, since you write the tentative teen encounters so perfectly yourself. If I can get my attempt to resonate with you, I know I've done well. Maybe I'm too sensible and removed from hormonal teenage years. However, I'd like to point out we don't know (yet) what happened after they started kissing.

I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter and had a laugh too. I'm having fun with Eric's full steam ahead method in contrast to Nelson's more cautious approach. Maybe Eric is more like Rob than he knows. I think he'll keep pushing until he gets his will - not that Nelson isn't eager too. I'll have to organize some private and completely alone time at Nelson's house. Preferably with Jazz being on a date with Carolyn, to ensure NO risk of interuption.

“And just what the hell am I supposed to do with this?” At the sound of his boyfriend’s voice, which was filled with laughter in spite of the question, Eric removed his hands and opened his eyes. The sight before him made his mouth drop open and his cock jump. Nelson had insisted Eric wasn’t allowed to look while he changed, but the sounds of him undressing combined with Eric’s imagination and knowledge of the awaiting gift had made him hard within seconds. He wondered at the amount of

Janny and Lanny But perhaps they'll both get away from Canny, sorry Candy, and find better friends. We'll deal - I guess that's been a theme for most of the COTT: Kendall trying to deal with his feelings for Michael, Ace dealing with Deuce wanting distance, both dealing with Michaels injury, becoming a couple and coming out, Kendall having to deal with facing his parents and past hurts, and now they have to deal with a possible baby and with Candy the Bitch. I'm guessing you want us to see they can deal with anything as long as they have each other. They take turns being strong and supportive, and they are able to expand their care to others around them. The love they have will carry them through any challenge ahead. Oh and I'm glad Kendall asked the condom question, since that was on my mind too since the previous chapter.

I found it interesting that Brady on the one hand denied he and Silas had a special connection and on the other hand he was upset Silas hadn't gotten in touch yet. For all his awoved determination to give Drake space and time, he sure is having difficulty without his Navigator. It takes all three of his band colleagues to prop Brady up, each in their own way. Are you going to post a picture of the band logo in the forum?

James, if you can make user documentation understandable, usable, and fun, I'd say the sky is the limit for your writing.

Oh, Benny Boy, you need someone to protect and cherish and Cal seems to fit the bill perfectly. I hope Greg the Matchmaker can work another deal. Once Jay has played his part in getting Denny and Greg to come out to and trust each other, I think they'll be friends and in time perhaps even a couple. Poor Mikey, the first time he plays a prank on Jay it backfires, but at least they got a private cuddle out of it.

LOL, Kayden the Honey Bee being drawn to the sweet stuff. I laughed at Garin outwitting him in the kindest way. But what's this about moving to the Castle?

Chapter 25 The Jokers Are In Play
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 25 The Jokers Are In Play
I felt really sorry for Kendall during the scene where Chet and Arron pretended to dislike each other. I loved the fact Michael knew this and was upset for Deuce. It was such a relief it all ended well. I also had a uh-oh moment when Kendall talked to Jere, because now he has to go back and tell him Chet is taken, and this feeling came back during the 'date' incident. All in all the dinner with C/A was full of tension and worry for me, and I was almost shaking from the relief of it turned out well. Now we'll have to see what Kendall Giftekniv can do for Jeremy. And then you plunged us into new and unresolved drama. Also making us forget the happy first half of the chapter with house talk and monster games. -
Aki is sooo lucky to have an empath as a boyfriend, because he SUCKS at communicating and body language and interpreting the signals of other people. It reminds me of... oh, right: me. Hel may have a lot of issues, but Aki needs to work on 'silent, strong, smokin hot' (literally ) personality. I bet Ischa is waiting for Aki to bring up his wishes for the future, and it's no excuse that Aki knows Ischa is aware of how he feels. Of course, Ischa can say 'I love you' first, but he is showing his love and caring in so many ways already.

Welcome as a CC reader, Dathi, I'm delighted you are following the story and that you like it. Please visit the story forum to see some of the places mentioned and various discussions of the themes and characters. I'm always happy to get feedback from my readers without whom it would be much less rewarding to write and post stories. -
Thanks for reminding me to check up on this week's Grammar Rodeo, I had missed several great posts and a good laugh.

Oh, I thought you were just waiting for Mark to change the story status to Completed, in case he added an unexpected Epilogue or something. Hope you're feeling better now.

Oh yes please !!!

You know who I'm most disappointed with in this chapter? Pastor Gregory ! He was a coward, quittting and letting Pastor Simms take over rather than stand up and tell his congregation that Daniel was no sinner and the peope whose bigoted and outdated views made him kill himself, were evil and would burn in Hell unless they repented and made amends. Jenny really needs to get Chelsea to see a therapist even if Silas has managed to pull her back from the brink of suicide. It would also reinforce the case against Pastor Simms. I'm hoping the two other churches have told Chelsea's church they are excluded from the joint bake event.

Oh brat... I'm not sure whether to be exasperated or impressed at Ty's development as a person, but I'll take Patrick's word that the brat's sincere remorse is a good sign. But a two game suspension of the Leopards best player at a moment they've just lost a game is bad. And winning the match will simply reinforce the cockroach's opinion that heckling is worth it. But I shall have my revenge when Ty is drafted by the Blues and the Roach is left behind. The idea about the football Clinic is awesome ! Most of Liam's friends probably look up to the local team and having the players interact with Neil and seen as his friends will mess with those stupid high school boys' petty minds and ingrained attitudes. And I'm sure having Todd and Paul looming over them asking Why the fuck they are calling Neil nasty names will do wonders for their behavior.

Arrrgh, why did you post such a perfect prompt for my next chapter this Friday? Now I have to finish the prompt I'm currently writing AND write another in just one week, in order to be on time. But I guess my Rob fans won't mind...

Thanks. I'm glad you haven't given up on it, in spite of the infrequent posting of chapters. Patient and kind readers are a blessing.
