That was cute, but I wonder why Karen introuced Jared to Scott if he's not interested in shy guys. She must feel rather embarrassed about the bad behavior of her brother.
Scary, but at least Silas stayed sensible almost until the end. I guess Jeb had influenced him already and it took time for it to wear down. But when it did, he suddenly flipped and raced off to see Cort. Glad someone else got to him first.
Once he passes out from the fumes, his foot should slip from the pedal. Hopefully the car will stall and the engine switch off. Although I don't know what a Pontiac is like.
The other possibility is he'll start coughing and run out of the garage. Either way I have faith Miles will survive to feel somewhat stupid about doing this. Poor boy
Ohh, naughty - flirting with two guys at the same time. It's sort of from famine to feast, isn't it ? But do Greg and Jay want the same thing or different things ?
I'm not normally into phone sex, but this was HOT ! The 'see you in school' was a bit scary, though. However, if Kurt had Steve's number and it wasn't a genuine wrong number, then he must know it is Miles.
I wasn't too shocked about the pills, I saw them more as insurance of a way out. Having them in the car he couldn't drive was symbolic, too. He had hoped the car would spell freedom but since it didn't, Miles had to have something else ready.
But the sudden phone sex did surprise me !
I was cheering too. Vain, shallow, status chasing, high school kids are awful - and the sad thing is that it's even worse today with all the social media and focus on being popular and good looking and famous.
So far JJ seems to be in control of the relationship with Alex and he's good at reading him and keeping his cool so as not to scare the skittish Brit away. It's funny how Alex probably thinks he's in charge of how things develop and in reality he's being skillfully handled by JJ.
Thank you Gary, It's nice to be told the story gets better with every chapter, lol. Though I do get a bit of performance anxiety I think Eric has made plans for a while now, but just needed that last push to get going. And like you said Rob finally broke the barrier.
It will be fun to find out whether Nelson or Eric wins the race to ask the other out. Right now Eric has the edge, but Nelson may surprise us yet.
Well, I didn't want to do the 'repeat the first line at the end' trick again, lol. And Eric did ask to be told everything. So it seemed natural to end it like that. Glad you liked it.
This was such a heartbreaking chapter, learning of Kay's background and then ending with the rape. At least the bathing scene was more sweet than harsh. But so far even the kind people have little patience or understanding for the poor neko.
Yeah, I'm sorry John, lol.Did you think about me being a little inspired by you on trying to do a more-clever-than-most MC? Even if Eric will never reach the level of Colt in Meta.
Well, you did a brilliant job of establishing Roman as an ambitious bully. And the whole scene with the poor neko being scared out of his mind was heartbreaking bit somehow funny too, with the slave master getting all flustered.
This is my second read, and I look forward to seeing the changes you've made. It was a good story the first time around, and I always meant to come back to enjoy and review.
Slavery is always tricky to make anything but despicable, but the system here with some choice in entering or leaving the slave bond is intriguing. And of course we all feel for the neko and agree with the youngest brother about the stupid slave master.
OK now that I've finished drooling and had my whiny rant over at the forum, I can tell you delightful this chapter is. They needed this time of bonding and I hope it's enough to settle the relationship firmly between them and to the outside world.
And I'm looking forward to Robin introducing Kier to his friends and having to retract all the angry things he probably said about him.
