  1. Well, that's a big vote of confidence. Have you read Cupid Central by @aditus ? Otherwise, I can recommend it together with all his other stories. They'll keep you occupied while waiting for more Cardmaker chapters (thanks for all the likes and comments btw). Ariel may be bad, but just wait till you meet Ayil, the head of Cupid Central. Diego absolutely needs some hugs and TLC.
  2. Thanks, AC. I'm not sure what statues are at the Met, just that there are some. I'm not sure why I imagined them all stern and Greek with cloaks and chiseled features. Not all of them die, but they're definitely traumatized. It's not surprising Diego is feeling depressed.
  3. I've been missing those stories, AC. I like the way they recognize each other immediately, and that he's just as adventurous and initiates the kissing.
  4. Hey Thorn, a bit busy today and more so tomorrow. We're having a warm February, see above. I'm still trying to work out what the 'a bit further down' comment means.
  5. Hey Gary, thanks for all the likes. I just popped in here to upload the next DDD chapter for tomorrow. Adi and I look forward to seeing what our readers think. Hey Albert, are you still getting snow ? We're having spring-like temperatures and some trees are flowering.

    Chapter 18.4

I guess Kitty won't underestimate Fran again, but believe her from now on. Trissy, lol.
  7. Great critique @Parker Owens I'm not surprised Carlos was pleased with it. It made me want to ready the story again. Now, where did I put that box of tissues...?
  8. Not as interesting as page 555.
  9. I'm glad you liked it, I had fun writing the A.I. trilogy.
  10. You're welcome, I hope I'll be able to share more at some point. You'll have to make do with the other stories in the series while you wait.
  11. You're absolutely right. I'm so glad you caught on to this, because Peter arriving in Patrick's life opened the floodgates to more people who in some cases have been waiting at the side lines, while Patrick ignored the possibilities.
  12. This was a very crucial chapter in many ways, so I'm always happy and grateful when readers approve of it. How wonderful it evoked good memories, too.
  13. Or perhaps just common sense ? No, you're probably right, the wants and needs of the people we love are as important as our own.
  14. It makes a lot of sense, because I felt the same while writing the chapter. I'm delighted you're part of the Patrick family now. Thank you for reading and leaving lovely comments.
  15. They're of course also learning things about each other which I don't mention (favorite food, music, books etc), but all the major stuff is there. Patrick has never talked to anyone about his sixth sense, not even his parents, so that's a huge step. But he'll get there.
  16. Oh, I'll definitely read it, and the interview above made me even more certain. But for the first time in months I'm getting some writing done, and i don't want to lose momentum. It was encouraging to hear you were able to come back from losing your passion for writing, even if you feel it's slow going.

    Chapter 9

It's a good thing he didn't break both arms. I think he got off lightly with the Talk. He and Todd make a good couple, but I agree about more talking.
  18. I'm glad you were persuaded to post stories on GA. In spite of the occasional rant I enjoy reading your stories, which are both well written and interesting. I haven't managed to read the CSR story yet, because I want to be in a brighter mood than the February grey grumpiness.

    Michael

What a relief. I was worried, but Michael's family were perfect. Thank you
  20. I am too, although I'm stalled at the moment. But at least there are more chapters to read for you at this point. Although, with the speed you're going through all my works, you'll run out soon. Luckily, there are lots of great stories on GA:

    Now or Never

LOL, you're right. Every time I try to write a Complete short story my readers and I want to know more. I have a hard time letting go of my characters. I do want to return to Gil and Tar and replace the last line with more chapters, but I need to finish my currently incomplete stories first. Plus, fantasy is a difficult genre since you have to come up with a whole, coherent world.

    Takes Pride

I guess Bart already had his date with Death, but it wasn't much fun. You'll have to read the story I'm currently posting together with @aditus to - maybe - find out about another kind of dating Death. Thanks for reading and commenting.

    Friendly fire

thank you. I have to admit I was nervous when I first posted the story, mainly because of the difficult balance you mention. I keep being amazed and grateful about people liking and praising it. You can find the other stories in @Cia's household item game here, they were very interesting (weird) too.
  24. You'll be happy to know I'm currently writing on more chapters and hope to start posting once I'm done with the story I'm writing together with Aditus. If you laughed a lot, my missions with this story is a success.
  25. Thank you for leaving a comment. I was following your progress as you hit the like buttons, and it was a nice surprise to wake up to this feedback on the last chapter and the story. Have you decided whether you're Team Rob or not ? (You can find the other members and check out the T-shirt in the story discussion topic.) I'm delighted and grateful for your remarks about the conversations and scenes, because dialogue was always a weak spot in my writing. A lot of the credit for improvement goes to my editor / beta reader @AC Benus.
