    Nope, you did not wait too long. If I had thought you had I would have been all over you like glitter the next morning! Glitter seldom came into play back in my clubbing days, but then it was not accepted to be dancing shirtless then either, and the gay patrons kept their sexuality under wraps until they were pretty sure whom they were outting themselves to. Around the daycare I worked in for 15+ years ( my second career) we used to call the stuff "craft herpes". I would purposely redesign crafts that called for glitter any time I possibly could, and would not let each table have their own glitter supplies - we had one table, constantly supervised, in an (futile) attempt to keep the shit corralled. Unicorn farts and rainbows are ok reading, I enjoy an ocassional short route to a HEA, but stories based in real life situations and real men and women are also on my reading list. This one ranks high on that list! And I love that I can help to bring the story here for the rest of you!

    Just because an incidence of cheating is not against Liam does not make it any less an incidence of cheating. If his being straight is a condition of the funding of his business and he lies about being straight he is cheating.

    We will need to agree to disagree on what constitutes cheating in its various forms. If I were to have obtained funding for my business under false pretenses, I would be a cheat and a liar. I fail to see how that does not apply to Alek just because it is his sexuality he is keeping under wraps and not a past business failure or some other situation that would stop me from getting said funding. Gary - you are right - neither is acceptable. When I said the words "...only onto each other till death does you part." I meant it, and would expect him to have meant it too. Meaningless flings are no better than falling in love with someone else. It is just as hurtful.

    I can see where Pilsbury may be right in Will possibly adding complications. Ranchers would be put out if a "city boy" like Will could do what they could not and handle Psyche. Lovely to have you back Mark. We all missed you and the intrigue you weave for our entertainment.

Alek leaned close, cupping Liam’s face with a large hand. “I love you, Liam. That hasn’t changed. I fucked up, but I know I can fix this.” Liam snorted in disbelief. How in the world could Aleksei fix anything? The man refused to come out of the closet for goodness sake. Before Liam could respond Alek kissed his forehead, stood and left the room. Stunned, he watched the empty threshold, wondering what the hell just happened. " Unless he both gives up the girlfriend AND comes out of the closet, there is no where to go with Liam and nothing to fix. And in my book, lying to his family by pretending to be straight is also a form of cheating.

    While I can certainly understand such an old school family keeping Alek from venturing outside his closet, it is not fair to expect an out young professional like Liam to crawl in with him, nor is it fair to expect Liam to tollerate a very open relationship with a woman, even if it is all for his family. Unless it is an open, polyamorous relationship, boy1 + boy2 + girl not also involved with boy1 is cheating. No matter what the reasons, something my gram told me when I was 16 seems pretty pertinent. A guy who cheats is a guy who cheats. Can someone change? Sure, but that happens once in some unimaginable number. (Get Drew to do the odds, numbers are his thing). What are the odds of lightning striking twice in the same circle? We already have Corey's hubby straightening up and flying right. Odds Alek does too are astrominomical. ( Drew, fire up that calculator!)

    So what if he IS straight. Nathan as an asexual friend is better than Alek trying to get back into Liam's life (and pants).

    Put me down for team Nathan. Alek had his chance and blew it. Even if Nathan doesn't work out in the long run, The hurt Alek caused might be forgiven, but never forgotten. Liam already kissed that frog, and unlike our Nicky, there ain't a prince hiding inside.

    What Isa did was totally believable. Not the way I would have done things, but much better than I have seen some mother's deal with things. When I say have seen, I mean up close and personal, like the one guy came out and spent two weeks on my sofa while his parents adjusted. Having gotten Russ out of daddy's reach while she got her act together was the perfect solution. Russ knew he would not be in contact, so there was much less of a traumatic effect for him. Where I differ in how to handle things was not to let Evan know what was happening. A mother of twins knows just how strong the twin bond is. She should have anticipated how deeply Russ going poof into thin air would have effected Evan.

    Bite your tongue Reader! That has got to be THE worst insult to fans of all time, wiping out an entire season with a dream! I stopped watching, but my brother swears he found several continuity issues where they referred back to things that happened in the dream.
