    It seems l am a little late to the party. Apparently the story posted right after I left the house for the afternoon. One word comes to mind. WOW When you decide to finally write down what you are thinking and feeling you don't mess around! The characters come to life in the pages, the emotions run deep, and you have made me feel every stab of pain both men are dealing with. I wanted to slap the girl silly when she tried to interrupt the conversation, and found myself shouting at my computer screen that Michael should follow Kendall and go somewhere private to continue to talk. Don't you DARE consider not finishing this story! You do not live THAT far north of me that I can't come up there and slap you silly. I bet I could find reinforcements to join me too! Dughlas lives less than 2 hours from here.

    So essentially people have two places? A living space inside the city and a yard on the outskirts?

    LOL I got curious - Not counting the several stories that were deleted when an author left the sight, and only counting what has been published, it comes to 1.4 M, give or take a few thousand words.

    You sent me through what you had labeled at the time as chapter 5 when you were deciding if/when to start posting it and wanted an opinion. I don't know how much you are changing things as you go yet till I see the published version!

    LOL and Nathan has decided his story is going to be a bit longer than Sasha had planned. Each of the last two chapters he sent came with a "just one more chapter" note.

    Interesting that the most revealing pics seem to have been taken when he was somewhat younger, as evidenced by the progression of his ink. I wonder who the miscellaneous others that managed to slip in were?

    Has Clara been spending time with someone like my mom??? “You were that confident that we’d work things out?” I asked. “I wasn’t leaving this room until we did, so I knew that either we’d have Thanksgiving dinner, or we’d have a burnt turkey.” That was pretty funny. “Will, bring your family with you. I made plenty.” It's about time she decided to stop sitting by and let Wally's ego screw things up more and more! My mom was like that - would coast along nodding at the stupidity my dad came up with on some subjects till he finally stepped over some line we could never see and then watch out when Mom went on the warpath!

    Ivan was the ex love interest that created Trey's issues and is mentioned the first time in the talk with his room mates in chapter 2

    Oh, I would not say Brett is my favorite - at least not yet! Cesar is quite interesting as well. I can say Lourdes is my least favorite. While asshole (Rich the step dad) quite deserves the name asshole, I understand that the stupidity of unfair prejudices is usually learned from a young age. Momma however falls well below asshole in my book when she sat by and let CJ be sent away just for being gay!

    There are more facts in evidence you didn't mention Carlos! Lourdes and Cesar split long enough ago for her to have a second son with the asshole who is 5 yrs younger than CJ. That makes Ritchie 10 at this time. Old enough to understand something very wrong is occurring in his older brothers life. Lourdes has no backbone, and apparently very poor parenting instincts. The Georgetown branch of the family is better off than most - Cesar drives and Escalade and they live in a very well to do neighborhood. Not yet enough evidence to call them stinking rich but definitely upper level! Probably a cut or two above what asshole can afford on his military salary. LOL and please note Carlos - I am sticking to the published material here! No hints of the three chapters I have read the rest have not!
