    Chapter 24

I like how the story has moved on but finds a way to reference the demise of Greg without dwelling on it. We can only conjecture as to what is causing Jim's behavior at this point: Is this his personal feeling and opinion; Is he expressing his parents convictions (induced through brainwashing ); Is he just jealous of Erin and lashing out as a way to further distance his own hidden feelings for Luke. Stay tuned!
  3. I would think that your first consideration is to decide if you need portability. If yes, then laptop PC - if no, then desktop PC and go from there. A desktop would require the additional purchase of a monitor. MS Word would be an additional purchase in either case and there's the option of the annual subscription to the full Office suite for one person for seven bucks a month and get one terabyte of Cloud storage but you can save your work on your computer as well, and you get sixty minutes of Skype each month.
  4. If you feel like you're in the mood for something upbeat, or you just need a change of pace from heavy drama, then "Ice Fairy" is the story for you.
  5. Hello Starblind. No human interaction? That's a big bold statement . . . and yet, welcome to GA. Where the interaction is online and humane, if not exactly in the flesh - human.
  6. zzz4334. Was that your introduction? If it was, then hello and welcome to GA. And, read away!
  7. Hello Tony. Welcome to GA, and to a great community.

    Time

Yeah, what Miles Long said. Even if the story is finished and I don't have to wait--still a low-down, dirty thing to do to Eddie. I'd totally forgotten that ending from the first time around. Jeez, what a thing.
  9. Well Cole, it looks like you can write trashy and clingy, well.

That was a nice two-part tale, Valkyrie.

    Decisions, Decisions

The midnight conversation between Eddie and Rory was a superbly captured moment - some humor, honesty, love, compassion and that ever present but now pressing need for Rory to make that decision. Well done.

    Confuse me Plenty

I really enjoyed this chapter. Being privy to Rory's thoughts--which can be a little overmuch, and fussy--somehow felt like a privilege this time.

    Chapter 3

Ack-cough-cough! There, I got that cube of sugar out of my mouth. "Awww, that was so sweet, Valkyrie."

    Prompt 340

Air travel. Tight schedule? Ha-ha-ha, yeah . . . right! I've sat on the Tarmac far too often!! Cute story. And, a big bear of a man named Georgie - equally cute.

    Chapter 23

I'm sure there will be lots of shared wet eyes among your readers. At first this seemed like too short of a chapter to follow-up on the events in chapter twenty-two, and yet you've managed to capture exactly the right tone, and words. It expresses Luke's grief and the immediate aftermath of Greg's death well. Sorta-kinda perfect, really.
  18. Happy Birthday Kiltie
  19. Aaron always impresses me as a character that is extremely adapted to his role, and can't step out of it. No matter how much he expresses a desire for change and even though he makes the attempt, he can't help his behavior, and he slips back into this manipulative and controlling persona he maintains.
  20. ← It seems I can't say that but I can say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANN!!

    Care to Repeat That?

Boy, the fun just keeps coming for Rory. I bet finding out something like this from an outsider--good use of Aaron, by the way--after all of the other things, might akin to getting hit over the head by two-by-four. Aaron still feels a little slimy to me.

    The Story

Thanks for reading Dave. There is another 'Sam and Jeremy' story being edited. I'll post it soon. Glad you to hear you liked the story.
  23. Two words: Popcorn Shrimp! Unfortunately, I have a horrible allergic reaction to the bivalve family, deep fried or otherwise. Doesn't mean I didn't like them; how else would I find out.
  24. Ha, that's true. The one time that I managed to get into one of these stories (was thrust), I managed to climb up a tree with Cole to get away. It seems that I have been most fortunate! lol
  25. Hello Alex. Nice introduction and glad to hear you've found a new home.
