Hey -- done right even that would be fun. Just look at some of the Lays that Tolkien wrote that had several HUNDRED lines of alliterative verse.

Great story (with shorter chapters than his normal writing style) following one of the members of the Squad as he peruses his music on The Voice. Only reason it doesn't get 5-stars is the ending, which is abrupt and dissatisfying.
-
I won't go as far as saying that I won't follow your stories but the rest I agree with -- we already knew he had a music career after the show -- and a successful one - but ending it in that manner was an extreme disappointment and soured my view of the entire story.

Was able to put the turkey in to oven, covered, on a low temp and keep it from drying out until he got here - about 70 minutes late (he would have been a few minutes earlier but got turned around in the neighborhood). Had a nice dinner and a long chat. So, evening turned out ok.
-
Welp..... Was going to txt my friend to see if he could show up an hour early, because the turkey is cooking faster than the recipes I looked at online said it would. Before I could do that, he sent me a txt saying he'd be a half-hour to hour late. 🤨😒🦃

Loved the story. There does seem to be two editorial marks left in the story, when they're in the kitchen: " Being single [‘makes it’?] easy to lose out on things because I let work take over.” I watched as Trevor kept watching every move I made. I tried to ignore his glances as [‘he’/’we’?] snacked on the food. "

Stay warm @Wayne Gray. I stayed home today - too many weather changes in one week for my joints to handle and hardly anyone is going to be on campus today anyway. Might, maybe, possibly, have a friend over for [American] Thanksgiving tomorrow; we'll see how that goes. @Mikiesboy - that sounds like a very expensive mix-up by someone, They should be happy they ended up with someone who's first thought is to call them back to find out what went wrong.

Love the scene between Mason and Jeremy, and the quiet support Mason gives. A great expression of their love. And glad that Elias is somewhere safe, and gets to stay there.

Forgot to mention that the song "Annabel" was inspired by Kathleen Winter’s 2010 novel of the same name, the story of an intersex child born in a remote coastal Labrador village in 1968. The song "Clay", from the same album (Tales of Us), was based on a heart-breaking letter WWII veteran Brian Keith to his lover, another soldier known as "Dave"

This is considered a classic commercial. [So is the 1964 LBJ "Daisy" add - but for entirely different reasons]

Love Allison Goldfrapp. Her range of music is wonderful. This is one of my favorites at the moment - Florence covering Nina Simone's "My Baby Just Cares for Me"

Great chapter. 💗 Waiting for April to slip and say something during one of their make-outs that only Theo would have known.

Never read this one before. It's a great little story.

Seeing Elias slowly coming out of his shell is a great thing.

Wasn't sure which to choose: love, because it's such a good chapter; anger, because of what Danny did - and what he was planning on doing; or sadness, because of the pain all of the guys are going through. Settled on sadness. It was a rough chapter to read the first time, and a rough one to read now. Had to re-read it, but only noticed one major change. I'm sure there are probably a few I missed (might have to go back and reread the chapter on the other site).

Came home early as my hip is not liking the changing weather. It's almost spring-like outside at the moment - nearly 70º F & light showers. Cold fronts move in overnight tonight and tomorrow and will drop the temps by 20º. Yippy. Hope everyone else is having a good day. Sorry you have a headache @mollyhousemouse & that Excel is giving you problems. I actually like it and what all it can do. Have several forms I use at work that I created for both payroll and travel that automatically calculate, highlight, total across groups, and a few other things. I greatly prefer Corel WordPerfect over MS Word though. Feel better soon @rickproehl

The benefit of being "the Uncle" is never having to change one.
-
Yes -- I believe this is why I quit reading the first time. Jake's "choice" is an empty one and Klaus knows that -- which makes him a sexual predator.
-
Orson is feeling extremely protective of those kids -- especially one of them. Lets hope Mr. Ranger understands the threat. Danny.... 😶 His mother gets no prizes for Mom of the Year, that's for sure, " the casual, assured way Elias said it" <sigh>

Started this at one point but don't think I ever made it past the 1st chapter -- though don't know why because WOW.

Having a good day -- been lost in the rabbit hole of YouTube lol Fence looks good. Needs a couple of adjustments here and there where it was starting to get dark on them, but otherwise good. Enjoy your evening with Phil @mollyhousemouse

lol -- my mom said the first, and only, time my older brother watched her change my diaper I hit him right in the face. 😁

Wonderful start! Can't wait for more.

fencing job was finished up last night, just as sun was setting; I'll have to go out this morning and take a look at it in full light, but what I was able to see last night looked good Woke up this morning to Goldfrapp's "A&E" running through my head Sometimes I don't want to know what my subconscious is trying to tell me.
