  1. Another week, another cliffhanger Thanks for the chapter CJ I'm wondering if the synchronicity has to due with the barometer So with Ali and everyone else gone except for two crew members I wonder what they will do with the crippled boat and all of the striped Atlantis stuff after they get the money for proving that Atlantis is gone. Will they get the Algol fixed? Will they just dump the boat with everything on board? Who will they be in contact with? I'm glad that Henry and Gonzales are on the same page. I'm sure Bridget and soon George will be in both of their sights. Lets just hope that they don't have the same two officers that were fishing do the observation of George and Bridget. BTW, the Police
  2. Happy Birthday Methodwriter I hope your birthday is a great one
  3. I don't know if I should say Maybe that story would be better suited for Nifty
  4. Once again....................No Furthermore, I think if we look at what constitutes a Evil Cliffhanger, I would say it requires an Author to make one, Yet if you look beneath Graeme's and my Avatar, it says Moderator. Yet yours say Administrator as well as Author. This means out of the 3 of us, only you have identified yourself as being able to create a cliffhanger Nuff said
  5. I live in Southern Alberta. I spent ten years of my life living in a city called Lethbridge. It was there that I realized that i had became a Lethbian I don't live there anymore. Now let's see, my Mom was born in the lower mainland of BC to parents that were Russian Jew (father) and Irish (mother). My father was born in Ottawa to parents that were Scottish (Father) and English (mother). Just to make it confusing, my parents were Canadian and I was born in Germany in a British hospital. Figure that all out
  6. Thanks for clearing that up CJ I thought Benji cleared that up But thank you very much Slug!!! There has been a debate going on for years wondering if CJ and Benji are the same person I must now wonder if the rumour is actually true
  7. Happy Birthday Tim Hope your 28th birithday is the best one yet, and same with the rest of the year
  8. Okay, time for some comments. I have been a bit under the weather and wanted to do some research as well. Prepare for a long post First, Thanks for the past two chapters CJ , good to see that you are building up the cases for your nomination of King of Evil Cliffhangers with every chapter posted So, 18 U.S.C. 1031

  11. Even though you are a month and a half late .... I want to wish all my American friends a Happy Thanksgiving I hope everyone has the time to enjoy the holiday with family, friends, and others. If you don't have the opportunity, enjoy the day One thing I like to do on Thanksgiving is to go around and say something you are thankful for (cheesy, I know ). So I will start, feel free to jump in. I am thankful for all the friends and family that I have had, and have met, and will meet into the future. They are the real reason life is great
  12. So what does the North Pole have to do with Trevor in the Southern Hemisphere? Trying to deflect attention to yourself for King of Evil Cliffhangers?

  17. Well spoken and thought out speech. Very powerful too. Looked the topic up to find out what it was about and found this: Teacher Suspended One Day
  18. I'm betting that our friend Ishewar will spot the naked Trevor sailing by his home and he swim out, rescue Trevor and they will happily ever after
  19. Okay, if I was confused before, I'm really confused now I guess I understand in basics what latitude and longitude are, but I imagine the difference between one degree on either of them is huge. If I'm correct, there is 90 degrees north and south of the equator for latitude and 180 degrees left and right of the Prime Meridian (for a total of 360 degrees) for longitude. How much space is between each line of lat. and long. ? Miles or km? Then, if I read correctly, Trevor use the astrolabe to pinpoint his longitude and used the compass to measure his direction and guessed his speed. Now he did this during the day with the sun, as well as at night using the southern cross (is that the actual geographical south, or is it off like Polaris), do both readings tell him the same thing? Then I seem to recall their is geographical north, magnetic north and true north. I'm sooooo confused and I'm in the wrong hemisphere . Does the astrolabe replace the sextant? If so, is it a simpler version of the latter? Usually when someone talks about geographic position I skip over it, because I just don't understand it. I am curious though since this seems to be a major part of the story. Trevor's life depends on me understanding it Help!!!
  20. Hey CJ, Thanks for the chapter I wasn't sure until you posted here about the EPRIB that we knew for sure that the one mounted would be gone. So we now know that Dirk is waiting for the Statue of Limitations to expire on something to do with the Ares. He didn't mention about Rachel, so I take it he may have collected some insurance money for the Ares, or maybe is waiting for the payout? I'm curious, and I ask this in a non judgmental way, but did anyone else get lost with the technical stuff about the navigation. I guess i don't even understand latitude and longitude, so everything else was another language for me. I guess we will find out if Trevor will make a shocking entrance to Reunion island, or will it be bust. Thanks again CJ
  21. Happy Birthday Nephy Hope your day is a great one
  22. Happy Birthday Jamie Hope you have a great day
  23. I chose dirty. Now think if you went to the gym where they hand out towels or a hotel, if you go by the logic they are clean after use, why should they launder them
  24. Come on up Tim, 1. Gay Marriage is definitely legal 2. Guns are legal, just need to register them and get a firearms license for yourself 3. Lots of Gay men to climb into a warm bed with to keep you warm when you can't frolick outside for a few weeks in the winter
