Here you can be fined $2000. Not sure if anyone's been actually fined, although I do know they've broken up some gatherings and taken away the liquor licences of two establishments that allowed large gatherings after being ordered not to.

Whew... that's a relief! Thanks so much. It was a difficult week, but I'm doing ok. I have plenty to do to keep myself occupied and great friends and family to help me not feel so isolated. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Thanks Seems I started the process too early since I'm using time off this week. April snow never lasts long. It's pretty much gone now

I'm applying online, but due to the amount of applicants, the system is overwhelmed so it's difficult to get through. Same with on the phone. I figure I'll try applying online first, and hope I don't need to call.

It's snowing here. It won't amount to more than a dusting and will melt quickly. I'm going to apply for unemployment today, so wish me luck getting through!

I'm doing ok. I talk to my family and friends regularly, and am also keeping in touch with my co-workers. Keeping busy helps too.

It's cold and overcast today. We got some rain last night and I think we're supposed to get more today and tomorrow. Temps are supposed to drop by the weekend and we have a dusting of snow in the forecast. Not unheard of for April. I went grocery shopping this morning. The store was well-stocked with just about everything except cleaning supplies. I bought some goodies to make a nice Easter breakfast and dinner. The store wasn't crowded either, which was nice. It felt good to get out of the house, even if it was for a little bit. I posted the first week of my National Poetry Month poems, if anyone would like to read them.

Postcard #3 April 1, 2020 Another restless night. Sweat-soaked Not-quite-nightmares Woke at 1:30 am, Wow! I slept for several hours! Squinted and re-read the clock. 10:30 pm. And again at 12:00 am 2:15 am 3:30 am 4:45 am And finally 6:30 am. Back to sleep until 8:00. An unheard of luxury. Better not get used to it. Sleep, but not rest. As my body tells me. Headache Stomach ache Racing heart. Deep breath

Wow...great start to NaPoWriMo! I loved them all, but the desk and birthday cake particularly stood out to me. I can't wait to see what the rest of the month brings.
