    Part 3

Lmao! So I've come across this story a couple times and passed it over because I had assumed that the small amount of comments posted probably meant the writing was horrible but the author was a die hard to get their story out there. Anyways, I decided to have a look see at the first chapter or two to determine why a story with so many chapters had a dire amount of comments... now I totally get it. The readers probably fly through because you're a good writer and I personally like your tempo. Imagery doesn't hurt either :-D People are probably exhausted after a chapter and run to clean up so the most they have the energy to do is a polite like click. On I move to the next chapter, but couldn't have done so without a guilty conscience if I hadn't commented on this story, which although a shag-a-thon so far, is a very well written one which certainly deserves more comments. Merci for the story so far

Oh wow! I just discovered this gem and devoured it in a day! I love the characters and the exquisite tale you wove. I sincerely hope you finish this some day.

    Chapter 15

An excellent read. Something I'll definitely come back to read at least once more. I liked your characters and the fluidity of the story. Thank you for sharing

    The Party Problem

I like the boys, how they seem to just gravitate towards each other despite the relationship being so new. And I find Kaiden's neurotic moments adorable personally. <3 No clue why, but I get the feeling that the coming out won't be at the party but rather before, as in someone from college might have been at the fairgrounds, and well, since Kay is so recognisable it'd be safe to assume commentary on Friday's happening maybe floating about come Monday?
  6. The way I feel while reading this story, journey, growth, the environment, emotional turmoil and general quality of writing of this story (with the exception of the overuse of the word tremendously because it spawns immediate images of toddler 45 - thesaurus, I humbly beg) reminds me of over indulging in opulence. Like a scandalously expensive and old, but oh so smooth and divine wine. Or immersing myself in a scandalously priced Parisian day Spa for a day, but the experience is so divine it'd be rude to take issue with price. Or consuming an amazing meal in a Michelin restaurant that's oh so good even though you know the expenditure is a naughty one. Makes me feel like I'm cocooned in a sinfully big bed with satin sheets and goose down comforter languishing in guilty pleasure. Your tempo and quality of writing of this story are making me read it nice and slow because it so good, I need to soak it in and not gobble it up. Like how you don't want to and don't have to hurry over any of the above guilty pleasures. There's a lot of sensuality to your style of writing. I just really hope that you write out the four years envisioned and they end out relatively well. #bowdown

    Afterword

This story... eerie, sad, has evoked a feeling of foreboding like I don't think I've had before (that's a difficult thing to achieve) I also read it in a white on black format like I usually do, so it kind of made it feel more real, as if I really was just reading data. The ending was like a fist in the face (one you know is coming but still is shocking in how hard it rocks you). It's sad and enraging that that was Noel's ending, but it does happen. You took it to the extreme but some families do react violently. I think readers here are quite aware that out isn't always easy or great so maybe that's why you got less of a response than you had hoped for. It would provoke more reactions, I believe if you'd get it to a hetero readership. Good luck on your own coming out. But if you really don't have to, perhaps do it after you are living independently from your family as you seemed a bit worried about it.

    Happy New Year!

This is the second time I've read the story by the way :-) totally gonna read it a third in some time,

    Happy New Year!

An absolutely exquisite read... goodness, but wouldn't I mind rooting around your brain for a couple days ;-). I absolutely love Kim and I was impressed at the emotion you managed to invoke in me about Raeden - feeling the emotional journey and kind of re-awakening. Wanting to live again... I really really look forward to Zone Wars. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing story

    Chapter 2

So I just finished reading the entire series... thank you very much for an extremely satisfying Sci fi story. I love how humans evolved from the Seth and that the Daglon are kin, plus the wicked way you interwove myths with 'true' historic events. Thank you
  11. I've noticed something that you've masterfully pulled off without my taking notice until much later in the story before. I can almost hear Abel's soul yearning for another half. Everything is better for him now as he's not physically and emotionally isolated, but you can taste the yearning in his dreams and seemingly fleeting thoughts sometimes. Exquisite. Much love, Di
  12. I've just now realised this jewel among stories has no reviews and I've read it threefold since it has been written. Shame on me. This is one of the top three psionic-scifi stories I have read on any site out there. It's a story of evolution, survival, love (familial and that of one's other half), inclusion and understanding of those unlike you, and the belief that we each can active more than we have told we can if we dare not to be bound by expect expectations. And first and foremost it is exquisitely written. I hope more fans post reviews and therefore encourage DaddyDavek to write a sequel, especially since I've noted that he likes and comments on other good and prolific writers' stories. Actually, I think I may just go a forth

    Chapter 47

Okay, so I had to stew about this chapter a bit because I felt it was kinda out there and not in keeping with the story. I dunno, it kinda felt like the April fools chapter you did where Brad and Stef crashed. The coach in the closet was just so fucking out there, and Zach okaying the bareback left me flabbergasted. How the heck is that in keeping with apparent desire to be Will's nasty boy? Because that obviously won't be happening for a while... and Will not really reacting? Seriously!?!? That is so not Will... I love this story and most of the characters but this chapter just kinda felt off to me. Don't know if that makes sense.

    Final Chapter

So, I discovered this today and finished it today. It's quite unlike any other tale of foes finding love that I've ever come across but I dare say it's in my top three if not at the top of that list. An exquisite story. Thanks & really do hope you get around to a sequel. Cheers
  15. Fourth. :-) thank you!
  16. It's a difficult read and won't be everyone's cup of tea. There's pain, emotional and physical, abuse, emotional and physical. But the story's best attribute, in my opinion, is that it is thought provoking and very well written. If you can deal with all the triggers, then I really recommend it.

    Chapter 11

Really well written and evoked a lot of emotion in me but also made me think. About life, addiction and self-destructive tendencies and how easy it actually is to live a life full of pain emotional and real yet convince yourself that everything is okay. I think that's what I liked most about this story. It made me think about really important things, hold the mirror up before my own self and take a long realistic look. Thank you

    Chapter 14

So the idea he has for a gift that it might be too soon for... I'm thinking a ring? Thank you so much for this story. It's absolutely brilliant. And I think Cal may just be one of my favourite characters written into existence!

    A Long Night SOK2

The most annoying thing about this story for me is Keiran constantly being referred to as Beraut's ward. Sorry, but he isn't. A ward isn't treated as callously as Keiran is by Beraut. He doesn't prepare him for anything. He just drops bombs in his lap, and often gives him only partial information and next to no preparation or advice. .. he'd the character I least like in this story...

    Chapter 45

Hmm, so many questions lol. I'm really hoping Zach doesn't get hurt himself and derail what is shaping up to be an interesting weekend (or if he does that Will doesn't let it derail his plans) ... but I'm thinking you'll be kind to us and not introduce any more drama on that front seeing as the amount of drama on all other fronts is overwhelming. I'm hoping that element will just be a nice sexual interlude with perhaps a dose of jealousy on Zach's part, and a wake up call on how his relationship with Will is, when he realises Will has other weekend plans and isn't blocking the whole weekend out to be his cheerleader. Had a brief wonder on who Mason's family really are ( no idea why). Also dying to see who Darius is gonna bring along... hmm, he's never done that before. Maybe the Charmicheal bro (older one from Annapolis & his navy friend?) He was meant to be in the area right? And when Mike spoke about Christopher and what a Wolf he was, I couldn't help but thinking of Claire and Jack, hence Marie and young master Charmicheal mayhaps? :-D Plus I'm curious as hell as to what JJ will do when his bros get there (and before ;-) , it would be Epic if they arrived on their high horses only to find something they aren't expecting from his bitchy self lol) wouldn't be surprised if Cruella de mode knew the Marquis' wife and it was JJ who brought in the final clue to reveal the Web, in the future. Sort of a coming into adulthood for him within the familly. And if evil step-mom AC really needs to eliminate Wade's scheming mom, who is the biggest spinner of destructive webs, that's saying a hell of a lot! Betcha her Web is way more simple though, although cunning in its simplicity because no one would have thought of it. Have no clue why, but whith the whole potential blow up when Triton goes public, Chris Mendoza has me nervous, after his first dinner convo with Brad. If he's a ringer for Bryan Kinney from SAN he wouldn't have stuck around as long as he did to get Brad to let him to share him. Dunno, just got bad vibes there... paranoia :-p Also, if Mike knows who Scott really is, that makes me think of the Mexican drug cartel Lord saved by Brad, I think it was, who helped Lark become Scott. He might be involved taking into account the mafia connection to Dalby sr? Maybe? Or it might be a defector from his camp working with AC and his shady lordship. Apropos the Marquis' wife and who she is. Did we ever find out who Brain's mother was? ( I mean JP's half-brother, not sure if I have the name right. And also, why the hell do they just not get Isidore to talk to JA, I mean hello? No one wants that chewing out. Or Claire. I doubt they're that busy... Oh well, now that I've done enough speculation to drive JP truly insane, I think I shall return to a few prior chapters to feed more dramatic theories on my part, hahaha. Thank you for an Amazing story!

    Chapter 44

Wow! I was going through withdrawal so I re-read the last two books of CAP over the past couple days and finished the last published chapter yesterday. It was a marvelous surprise to wake up this morning to a notification of a new chapter! Thank you :-) Really wondering what Christopher will be like.

    He Got It Right!

An absolutely exquisite read. Gobbled it up in two days and an flabbergasted that I've never come across it before. Loved your twisty curvy plot and the tempo of the writing. Very refreshing. Love the story of love blossoming, the story of friendships and Barry's long road to rebuilding a life after the carpet is swept out from under him. You weave a very engaging tale indeed.

    Dinner with Gran

One of my top ten favourite first chapters of any book, online or in print. You have the art of manipulating a reader's emotions down pat. And this is my second read through after a few years

    Chapter 20

My heart hurts for Galen. But thank goodness he has a lot of people who live him nearby. Maybe seeing Buck again will help centre him too

    Chapter 6

Wow, Andy is on a speeding train of emotions. And not one that he seems to want to get off of either. I just hope that he gets to come out on his own terms, not forcibly. I can't see him dealing with that too well...
