    This was so very good. I really liked the rythm of the poem. Conveys the feeling of a stolen moment, breathless, hurried but deeply connected.

    Wow! Just wow! You capture my thoughts to this heartfelt scene so precisely. And you make it look effortless, which I know it isn't. That lightness of the wording combined with the subject matter just floors me. Now I'm even more triggered to do this. I don't think I'll be able to top this, but I want to give it a try. It's so beautiful.

    Or rouge...? Hi, hi! Kidding! I've got nothing against bottle feeding. It works really well. You should choose on the right basis though. Not due to some misconceptions. Emma has made her choice, which is fine. I just don't want that myth perpetuated, so someone thinks this is a truth and abstains from something she wants to do on false premises. So end rant!

    Tim, you're such a renaissance man! Knows everything! If she doesn't want her body to alter shape, then yes, staying away from pregnancy is a wise choice. However, most changes are manageable and you get a baby for your troubles! People can have how many or how few kids they want. Just make choices based on fact. Emma's barely out of that haze of the first kid and she's awfully young for a mother. She should wait a few years and see how she feels then. So trippel protection is a wise choice!

    Ok, if we suspend discussions regarding who Emma really is, I'd like to address the issue of breastfeeding. And JAR, you brought this on yourself! Just in case there are any mothers to be reading this, I'd like to make it clear breastfeeding doesn't really alter the shape of your breast shape. Pregnancy, being overweight, unhealthy living does to a much greater extent. So don't be afraid to breastfeed. Besides, it's very convenient. Perfect food available at any time!

    I'm glad this prompt had the intended effect! I hadn't really thought about the neighbour other than a nifty way to get those prompt words in there, but her nosiness could prove useful. What a good idea! Thanks for reviewing!

    In Sweden, we generally celebrate birthday rather quietly too, with family and friends. I however read those lines as AC apparently intended. That there were no big birthday bashes after their father died. Having organised quite a few partied myself (with my hubby), I can relate to not having the energy to host them as a single parent. Especially with a sick child to care for. I guess it's another thing that was sacrificed due to all the sadness that this family had suffered.

    Luke pisses me off! How can he do that to Gary? Some Christian, almost forcing himself on Gary.A physical reaction isn't a go ahead. Not if the other person says no! Chris has some profound insight to the role of a missionary. Maybe because he's grown up in different circumstances. How are such young people supposed to be able to teach and preach, when they have no life experiences to draw from? To reach people, I think you need to connect. To connect you need to understand. Otherwise, you'll just stick to judging.

    That woman! I mean... GRRR! Ok, that said (or growled), I feel so incredibly bad for Eddie. If he ever realises what his mother is doing, his world could collapse! He's so sweet and trying so hard to be good and she just uses him. He's childlike in the true sense of the word, not thinking ill of anyone. Not even Wyatt, though MD has him convinced he's hurt Bryan. Couldn't Wyatt have been able to reach that blanket...? I get shivers just reading this. At least, he has water.
