It's good that Damien has Rafe with him. He shouldnt have too many problems tracking the blood trail. Damien is doing s good job pushing aside his guilt and despair so that he can function to find Kayden. He would do no one any good if he let himself fall apart. Oliver is going to be furious when he sees Nash, and poor Nash is going to be eaten alive with guilt until Kayden is safe again. Anxiously awaiting the next chapter CM!

I can live with this. Jonah grew up.

That was a really tough chapter. Poor Kayden suffered so much at the hands of these men. I agree with Tim, all of that blood won't just attract predators! The Neko with Damien's group should be able to track him, especially with Kayden bleeding all over the trees and rocks when he stumbled so many times. It also sounds like they just awoke that jaguar inside of kayden! I don't think they have a clue how fierce Kayden can be, but it sounds like they're going to find out.

It sounds like CJ might have a fab job as an intern. For a politics buff like the kid seems to be, that would be a dream job for him. I agree with Tim, there is something fishy going on with Chip. Doc doesn't strike me as the overly jealous or paranoid sort, and he has suspicions that something is going on. Is it cheating? That's the obvious guess, but maybe not the right one. So I guess we shall have to be patient and just wait and see.

Nate finally admitted what he did to Clem (both the rape and the intent to hurt Clem), both to himself and to Taylor. That is a huge breakthrough for him. So is his recognizing that he can't continue to be as intolerant as his father. That's going to be hard to do, after so many years of ingrained behaviour, but it's a big deal that he wants to try. Taylor is a kind hearted guy for sticking with Nate right now. I think both Taylor and Nathan moved past the "series of one night stands" without even realizing it. Great chapter Sasha! Can't wait to see what else shakes loose with Nate next week!

Chapter 8 Playing to Win
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 8 Playing to Win
I would LOVE for Karma to come and knock Candy down a peg. After all karma is a bitch only if you are. She and Lanny deserve each other. All of Kendall's love and care for Michael really came rushing to the surface when Michael hit the ice. That impetuous kiss was very Michael. Haha. And now he has finally told Kendall how he feels and thanks to Michaels mom (love her to bits by the way) Kendall is ready to hear what Michael has to say. Great chapter Gary! -
Damn, I knew nothing good was going to happen to Kayden in those woods. Damien is going to be beside himself with guilt and rage. Oliver is also going to go crazy when he sees what happened to Nash. They are going to come down on that mine like avenging Angels. I just worry about what the hunters will do to Kayden before Damien is able to rescue him.

Happy New Year - Part II
LitLover commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Happy New Year - Part II
I really enjoyed this story. The humour, watching them connect slowly over months and becoming friends, before they became lovers. I love how Woodie was the matchmaker in the end. Smart kid. I agree with Gary, the racism is a very serious topic, but this story was more about the love, in spite of obstacles thrown up by people who hate. Good job Carlos! -
Well it's finally out in the open, even if Damien was an jerk (and many other expletives) for saying all of that to Kayden, and in front of everyone. It's a testament to how much Kayden has come to mean to everyone that all of the guards were glaring at Damien for hurting him. I really think Damien should have gone after Kayden. One, it should be him that talks Kayden into coming back because right now Kayden still thinks Damien believes he cheated. Two, bad things have happened to Kayden in the woods before and I worry about him out there with only one guard with him who's distracted trying to talk Kayden down. Great chapter CM! Can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm so happy that Will finally admitted his feelings to Teddy. It's incredibly sweet that his whole reason for this mission is to try to find a way for the two of them to be together. Teddy must be blown away that his feelings are mutual! Waiting (mostly impatiently) to see what happens next.

Wow. That was quite a chapter. It's good that Casey is away from his dad, but it must be hard to be essentially alone in the world now. I agree that it sounds like his mom attempted suicide. I get that she was hurt by Caseys dad, but this is her son...she needs to get some help. I hope that James' mom offers to take him in. Hopefully he won't be in too much trouble for walking away from the group home.

Yay I finally got caught up on the story!! First off, I love Jay's parents. They are fantastic people. I think that Miles will really start to come out of his shell with both Jay and his parents in his corner. I'm happy that Linda has finally seemed to accept them, but I have a feeling she will not make life very easy for them lol. I'm looking forward to what happens when J-one gets home.

Outside unchained, for the first time.
LitLover commented on Caz Pedroso's story chapter in Outside unchained, for the first time.
I can't remember who Vash is in relation to the rest of the series. and why he is important to Casey and Jackson? The abuse he has suffered is awful. It's going to take a long time for the internal damage to be healed. -
This could get pretty ugly. Damien is going to be distracted by Kayden and Finn in a dangerous situation as Kayden tries to show Damien that he's not scared of Finn. That green eyed monster can be pretty consuming.

I am surprised the police haven't come to talk to Sammy since it was Tonys brother that hit him. I have to wonder if maybe Tony is actually gay and maybe his brother thinks that it's Sammy's fault? It would be a stupid and irrational reason to hit Sammy (and Tony since i suspect Evan did that as well), but fear and paranoia make people do some stupid things. Looking forward to where you take us in chapter 3.

Well you have me hooked. More please

Silly Damien, there is no way that Kayden is going to let him go without him. Oliver is so sweet with his crush! Haha

Happy New Year - Part I
LitLover commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Happy New Year - Part I
I like Mary. She reminds me of someone I know. She works with truck drivers too and can really handle herself around them. I'm pretty sure she can also drink most of them under the table! It would be horrible to find out you are being cheated on, and worse to see in live and in living colour. Poor Abe. I can understand his "may someday forgive, but will never forget" attitude. Trust is hard to win back with me too. Just a point of clarification (I am not sure if I misread something), but didn't Wood allude to the fact that he cheated on his wife with men (when he was explaining why he was divorced?) Again, I may have misread that since he he said trust was just as important to him as it was to Abe. I like the interaction between Wood and Abe. Abe seems like he really needed friends and Wood seems to fit that bill nicely. Wood is attracted to Abe, but doesn't push for more. Smart man. -
First off, I have to say I really like Sammy's dad. His love and support are going to be so important as Sammy explores who is. Everyone could use that kind of unconditional love and support in their lives. I wonder what Evan and Tony were arguing about and why Evan seemed to suddenly turn on Sammy. I have a feeling their might be some teamate jealousy and deliberate exaggeration going on with that angry pinch hitter. Sadly racism and bigotry never seem to go away no matter how far we have come. There is always someone out there who needs to hate to feel better about themselves or try to mask their own shortcomings. Great first chapter. I look forward to reading more of your work.

Aww Louis is so shy. I don't recall if it mentioned why in Buried Treasure? He also clearly doesn't believe that Cade could be seriously interested in him or that anyone could find him attractive. I look forward to reading more about what makes him tick and watch Cade win him over.

Chapter 7 Changing the Rules
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 7 Changing the Rules
They're finally talking! And Kendal chose to spend time with Michael. That's great progress. Moss doesn't grow on Candy though does it. She moved on and got engaged awfully quick. Sounds like her and Larry are perfect for each other. Eagerly awaiting the big talk! -
Ren is broken... He is wearing a creepy bracelet for goodness sake! I am happy that they finally talked...not happy that Jonah would have brought Sandro though...that's pretty cold. They both apologized for their parts to play in the mess...that needed to happen. I guess we will see what Jonah decides.
-
Ze-bra hahaha oh I loved that one! And yes, I really do hope Damien deals with his jealousy, and Kayden has to not lie to him. It's just going to make everything worse.
-
I agree with what others have said. Write it down. You don't have to share what you write with anyone if you don't want to. Good for you for talking to someone. Triggers can come without warning, it's how you deal with things once they hit that matters and it sounds like you are doing what you need to do.
-
This is not going to go well. I'm surprised Kayden actually lied to Damien. That was surprising. Damien and Kayden had better have a heart to heart talk soon before this gets really bad.
