    After the 30

Hey tim I hope the urge, desire, need - whatever it might be - never leaves you. I am glad your words are of benefit to you, but you are not the only one reaping the rewards of your pen. As always, nicely done.
  3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
  4. That's what I get for being away for the weekend - hauling leaves not vacationing is what I was doing - and not deleting the link from my email before I left, so I forgot I had done it already. Oops...

    Days 22 to 30

Hey tim I enjoyed reading about the memories expressed in your poems - very life and other-life affirming they were. It seems like just yesterday it was day one. That day is long gone on this journey you undertook with much success. The finish was excellent and you have more than earned the right to rest on your laurels. Feel free to throw us a crumb now and then, will you? As always, nicely done.

    Days 15 to 21

Hey tim Really quite late with this review. I had started it before, but it wasn't coming out right. After reading it again, my thoughts are less cloudy. I loved the poems for Ripley. Even in the sadness for his loss or maybe because of it, the love felt for that furry little being is strong and true. What a lucky boy he was to have you and Mike be his people. Planting the seeds - so serious it seems. Having a beer - felt like your thought did a 180, I know mine did. As for Tinkerbell, what did she ever do to you? Then again, I guess she is like a fly buzzing around, eh? lol As always, nicely done,

    Born to Run

Like avidreader, I am disappointed in Jose-Maria as well. I could give him the benefit of the doubt and say he probably would have stopped his cousin, but Sean's arrival prevented that from happening. Then again, maybe he would have just gone along with it. One thing is for sure, I think his name will now be Mud at Walls. I don't see any way for him to make that incident go away... What a good thing for Papa Bear to be so protective of his cub - Bernardo's just lucky it was Sean and not Brett that came through that door... CJ's reaction to the guy at the gym wasn't surprising. It's a good thing that Sean was there to pick up the pieces because he can support CJ appropriately without being overly emotional which wouldn't be good for CJ. I want to say more, but I have to go now. Will check back in later on my phone.
  9. I read about this story last year and am delighted with the outcome. Love wins... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3558939/Gay-couple-awaits-custody-battle-verdict-Thai-surrogate.html
  10. I seem to recall asking you way back when if he would get his own story. Good to hear you're thinking about it.
  11. Something is up with the news tonight - yet another positive news story. http://www.kmov.com/story/31790979/middle-school-students-pitch-in-to-help-teacher-diagnosed-with-cancer

  14. After 54 years together, Jack and George get married. http://www.buzzfeed.com/stephaniemcneal/finally-wed#.hgRL44w7yV PS: Kudos to the judge for performing this and many other ceremonies while she was officially on vacation!
  15. Batman and Robin. The Dynamic Duo and now Masters of the Love Scene!! Not surprising in the least. Never having ironed bed sheets in my life, I kind of wondered about that part, but then I thought pristine sheets do enhance things, don't they? Nicely done Tim. PS: I wonder what would happen if you and Gary collaborated on a story? Hmm...
  16. There was, of course, lots of wonderful things going on in this chapter. Well, not the nasty neighbour lady, but I'm hoping she makes herself scarce - you know, to avoid seeing what she does not approve of. The lovely old gent from next door just might be visiting his old neighbourhood quite a bit after he moves. His friendship with Grethe seems to be blossoming - and not necessarily in a romantic way - and I'd bet he has visitation rights to his roses. Loved the scene where Patrick came home, not only to a houseful of family, but to a hot Neal as well. says a lot about what he had been missing in his life. Lastly, I enjoyed the reference to the Richard Scarry book. I had one as a child - and I think my parents still have it at their home - It was an oversized book which has me wondering if all his books were like that. It certainly is a great tool for Michael to learn English words. I would usually say at this point something like, I wish it was Sunday already so I can read the next chapter, but today I don't have to because Yay! It is Sunday!!
  17. Happy Birthday Carlos!! I hope you have a fantastic day my friend! Well aren't you Mr. Popular. Seems Mann also made a birthday topic in your honour - damn and I've been waiting for months for this. Oh well.. I tried
  18. Out of likes but I this story, so are more appropriate. Not to mention they work with the subject matter too. What an incredible mission this pilot was on! Just wow... Did I mention this is a really cool story? No? Well, it is!
  19. Okay, so this is so totally not what I was going to talk about in my review, but what the heck, I'm jumping on the bandwagon for this one. Like the rest off CJ's fans, I am appalled by Barnardo's behaviour. What a cretin!! I can only hope that Jose shows the integrity he displayed in Ch 12 of Autumn when he made a pass at CJ at the Annual National Dinner. CJ shot him down and he backed off - his chaste kiss at the end of the night was a sign of that. I really don't think he is going to let his cousin get what he wants. He may be family, but that's not going to mean squat to Jose - I hope... As for the 'rents, this is why parents should meet their kids friends and associates. Cesar and Brett messed up this time. They know and like Jose so I guess, by extension, that put the cousin in a favourable light. This is going to be an eye opener for them without a doubt. As for Barnardo, will it be thumb screws or a walk on a short plank?
  20. That was great!! A shifter who doesn't know he's a shifter until... Excellent start to this new tale of yours Gary. Looking forward to more, yes I am!

  22. Out of Likes... Rather apropos to use the hearts anyway.
  23. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
  24. This was an absolutely terrific story so thank you very much for writing it K.C. I will be liking the chapter as my Like machine allows - though it seems to be perpetually broken so it may take a while
