  1. A very well describe period in time Valkyrie! As a retired teacher I saw much of what you described. I would think the period was late 80's to 90's. Your thought for further study was spot on. I saw a huge change in language take place over 35 years of teaching. If I did the same about my life during middle school and high school, my groups would be fewer and more flexible. They would be town vs farm folk, and jocks vs nerds. It was simpler times in rural US in the 60's.

    Chapter 17

I also hope the interlude has cleared their minds enough to concentrate on finding the will. I was needed, but they will need to hurry if there is a chance to find the will in all those boxes. I too fear that they won't find it in the boxes. Maybe they should check the hidden passage better. Or, maybe Marc's mom will come through for them. It certainly would redeem her in my eyes if she defied Jonathon and did the right thing for her son. I love what is happening with Marc and Sawyer. What is so important that Bruce needs to see them? I bet he shows up soon.
  3. At least show us a full face picture of you now. I think you would look great in a beard and mustache.
  4. Maybe he could knock some sense into Drew's head also.🤪
  5. Hi Page! I bet Drew just lost his position as a favorite uncle also! Drew's nephew and Max seem to be a year apart in age. I wonder what Max would say about the prank.
  6. Perfect! That fits the bill for me. ❤️
  7. J.El, I see you are desperately trying to keep Rusty preoccupied so you can have your way with Matty. I understand and support your efforts. However, I think you might prepare yourself for disappointment. Since you are close to Laura, maybe you can persuade her to write a sequel with you in it. Your love interest would be Rusty's unknown, long lost twin brother. He not only looks like Rusty, but has much the same quirky nature and erotic sensibilities.

    Chapter 165

I understand the difficulty deciphering my comment. I was more observing things the boys did and reflecting on my observations. As a teacher who taught at many levels and sponsored a variety of after school clubs over decades I tended to focus on the intelligence, manners and eagerness of Armand and Colin's children to learn. IMO hands on learning is the best way to learn. Armand and Colin are providing the best environment for their kids to learn.
  9. Hi Albert! I wish you post some food pics to get the bad taste of the food discussions out of my mouth! BTW, I hope some of that snow and rain that past you guys made it over to the Rockies. Lake Mead needs the water! Say Hi to Steve for me.
  10. I know we all love food, but this discussion is revolting. That said, if you want food like that, you can all visit Thailand's markets and street vendors to sample all the above including snakes.
  11. When did you get the Van Dyke beard? A full face shot would be a great avatar! Is the liquid in the bottle vodka or tequila? ooops! Just saw the answer, Mezcal. Liked the other pictures shown also.

Cassidy let her mask slip to display the bigoted bitch she is. Her hate filled diatribe outing her brother for an overlong handshake was vicious. I doubt she will feel any remorse for almost getting her brother killed. As badly as he was injured, I wouldn't be surprise if there is internal injuries. Seth will never be safe in a town like that now that Cassidy has placed a target on him. I was surprised at how Randy demonstrated to Seth that Randy and Trevor are on Seth's side. I feel there is change coming in Trevor's relationship(s) with Randy and maybe Skylar. I do hope that Seth gets well quickly, but will be in casts for a while. Cassidy's mom and dad are OK, but will it be safe for Seth living in town? I'm wonder who the lycan was that Trevor smelt as one of the attackers? Thad and Wade need to do some checking.
  13. Hi All! Just checking in to tell you I'm checking out for the night! Have fun!
  14. After reading Embers, I prefer firefighters without their habiliments! At least in their human form.
  15. That market sounds like many of the markets in Chiang Mai. Some open daily and other on a few scheduled days, like the Tuesday/Thursday market close to my condo. The fruit cup sounds good. I have to go buy a watermelon, but the kitchen is always stocked with both tamarind sauce and syrup. It's part of Aod's staples. Aod's family is from Petchabun province famous for growing the best tamarinds in Thailand.

CJ and Owen do live a very active and full life together. CJ may not be politically active now, but he is still a powerful activist. I wonder how their lives will be changed after Gina delivers her gift for them. This is a great catchup chapter for me. Time flies with these two and their friends.
  17. What? I just slept in and woke up two hours ago!. You are the one in need of sleep, Page. You have two active boys to take care of.
  18. Nothing wrong with self promotion. The only problem is that you didn't tell us which of your great stories you are reading. Love the gif!
  19. It looks like a wedding picture. Very pretty lady your mom.
  20. What? No picture? Markets are fun to go to. What do they sell in the market you went to?
  21. Hidden in plain sight! Thanks Albert! I got my votes in now.
  22. Keep on writing! Your readers are a very impatient mob. Also, if you add enough humor to make up for the lack of bow-chicka-wow-wow a lot of your readers may die from prolonged laughter.
  23. To answer the first question, I also loved Lifting the Veil. I have read several stories I enjoyed this week, but the best by far was this one. As for daylight savings time, for me it was a reward for enduring the cold, dark cloudy winter in the Pacific Northwest. Helping Aaron? Anytime he needs! Some of my questions even border on intelligent.
