Marky is so darned cute. I hope he gets to play with James when James visits Dion again. I decided James' innocence was to blame in taking Dion to a movie that included a bloody murder. Otherwise, he would have been cruel. It was great that Roy and Jackie recognized something was wrong, and Roy was able to talk with Dion. As I suspected Dion has little social experience and is having trouble communicating his feelings for James. Now James knows that maybe he can help Dion open up. At least Roy and Jackie had an easier time talking with Dion this time.

The birthday party was a great way to showcase the cameo appearances of characters from past stories. It did seem to go well. Luca snuck into this story without a lot of fanfare, but is a very caring and thoughtful guy. I like how he responds to Sami to talk about being orphans. Dani, Marco and Giaco are still awkward in their joint relationships. I keep waiting for a fourth guy to bond with one of the three. Gianni and Angelo are still as loving as always. I was happy they got to sneak out of the party for some time alone.

Another excellent lesson in writing. I wish my writing teacher in college had given lessons like this.

Madame was a hit with the kids, and the kids were enchanted by her. Armand and Colin will miss Ronnie and Richie for a while, but there little ones will fill in the gaps. I love the idea that the kids in Uncle's House will continue to learn French.

The Sixty-nice was hot! Rusty is beginning to realize that he more than likes what is happening. Jonathon is exactly the one to help Rusty be honest with himself. He helped Jonathon, not is the right time for Jonathon to pay back the debt.

This was a very intense, emotional chapter. Sami's first day at school exposed him to a very unpleasant side of Ravello that hurt the young boy. Gianni was there for him and handled things well. You could see that the wall Sami has built to protect himself is developing cracks as he begins to show trust in Gianni. Sami's bedtime conversation with Gianni shows a breakthrough for Gianni and Sami. Gianni's day showed how concerned and protective they community is of their children, but also Gianni and Angelo. Gianni protected Marco from his father. Marco protected Gianni and Angelo from Marco's father's hateful accusations. Gianni did the right thing by standing up for Marco, and assuring Marco that there were a lot of people who care for Marco. Marco has support of many in the village. He needed to know that. Giaco's mom was great. She understands what is happening with Dani, Giaco and Marco. She also supported Gianni. I thing that Gemma, timid though she may be, will be able to support her son and hopefully help Lorenzo accept his son is gay. The big worry I have is Gianni's first panic attack. Gianni may need professional help.
