  1. Hi Everyone! Saturday was slow and today not much better. I did make Burgundy Beef for dinner tonight. That's about all the energy I had for today. 😄 That and reading some older stories on GA. I even found a few stories with horses and ranching, but they are modern romances set in the country, not really westerns.
  2. The Pleiades sounds like a great chapter for a fantasy adventure! A group of seven magical gays fighting evil would be a fun story on GA.

    Chapter 32

Attention Korner Krew! Top secret mission tonight on a certain liquor cabinet. Kage will guide us!

    Chapter 32

We're ready! We've signed @JohnnyC up for our kbois 101 class already! It's a snark defense class for newbies.

    Chapter 32

Oooo! Very nice. I think a two step translation is warranted. Step 1. @kbois reluctantly admits her smugness in acknowledging the various possible theories about something that is already written and will not be changed. Step 2. Guess all you want while I sit back sipping my habanero whiskey laughing. No one will guess what I've written. kbois 🔼

    Chapter 32

This is a great chapter that filled me with hope that Austin and Ashton will be found alive. I liked their parents and the easy conversation that helped Elijah, Tyler and us get to know the boys. I hope that Corbin was a rescuer and not another villain. It would make it less likely they are feral wolves at this point. I also liked the speculation about which boy match which boy. However, @kbois has been very adamant that we will never guess, so I suspect a few red herrings.

    Snickerdoodles are definitely amazing food!

    Chapter 32

@scrubber6620 must be getting close the way @kbois is obfuscating without denying.
  9. To say the least, I love this story filled with bad boys, fake boys, good guys and one hilariously kinky cute guy. Throw in a scandal rag, a laid back college, some evil villains, family problems and some very hot scenes all well written. The story is a fun filled comedy of errors that will keep you laughing. Don't skip reading the comments, because they add even more laughs. It has a happy ending which Laura promised and delivered. The sequel is already in the works for one of the most endearing and fun character in the story. Don't wait to read this story that will brighten your life as you read it.
  10. Good one drpaladin! I guess one in that situation might be soddenly surprised at the change in weather.

    Wordless

Another essay that makes a point about writing that I have never considered as a reader. It was a point well taken in your arguments. The video also was an excellent sample that gave me feelings I couldn't easily describe. I realized that the feelings were similar to those I would feel after watching some Twilight Zone or Outer Limits episodes. I also now can see this technique used in other stories including romance stories you and other have written on GA. Another great essay Comicality!

    Chapter 1

I am surprised that you didn't continue this story @W_L. It would make a good first chapter. However, at this point it is still a nice short story by itself.

    Epilogue

The whole chapter!!! What a love fest! From Ray and Jonathan's pledge to be besties forever to the cake fight a wonderful ending to a great story! I wish them both a great summer. Now dear @Laura S. Fox get busy writing Rusty's story. I want to find out who is catboy is! Please include Ray, Hanna and the rest of the Fabulous Four! I do love these characters and this beautiful story! You are a great writer, keep it up!
  14. I agree with @Mancunian100%. I have also read many stories in this anthology. There are many wonderful stories here, and I have also reviewed the ones I like and plan on more. Lack of reviews will hopefully be remedied if you listen to Mancunain's good advice. Also, both Mancunian and Myr in a reply to my comment above have given excellent instructions on how to find more of these stories. It is a very nice feeling to know that you have rediscovered a story and are the first to review! I challenge all GA readers to be first!
  15. HEA, not yet, but imagine how you want to end this sweet story. There is more than one HEA possible. This is a sweet and short story that leaves you to create all the happy endings. I recommend this story for all the great possibilities for romance of all the characters.

    Mendin' Battle Lines

A lovely story with so many characters fighting for love. I think Tracey and Casey will win their fight for each other. I suspect Jackson will also. I'm not sure who will will win Will, but hope whoever lose will find someone just as great. I do love stories with wonderful horses. Sheba is great!
  17. Red Rescue is a short but sweet story of a difficult fight for love. Nicely written and easy to read it is a pick up story for a dreary day. I recommend this story of love and adventure.

    Red's Rescue

A very nice fantasy of the power of love, and the worth of fighting for it. It is nice that Ayreon not only fought for his own right to love, but that he rescued his brothers and others also.
  19. A powerful and relevant soliloquy that loudly speaks to the future of threats to human rights of all minorities. It is a plea for governments to do what is right, and resist the expediency of abandoning ideals and the personal moral compass for political power. A must read for all time.

    Requiem

A very powerful and well written piece that is so relevant today as a conservative SC throws out human rights. Congress now needs to take a stand on women's rights, but next up are the rights of all other minorities. I hope the Senate and House members have the great courage of this character to speak the truth in spite of the usual tendencies of sound bites for votes.
  21. No I'm not! I can barely swim across the pool here at the condo. I barely survived swimming beyond the reef at Hanauma Bay. Nevermore!
  22. Slide is a very short but fun and feel good story. How do you recover from an abusive relationship? John has some answers that motivate Alex to try again. Find out if Alex finds his love, reverts to being a hermit or something else. I like short and fun stories, so I recommend you read this one.

    Slide

Alex's last relationship was a real loser! I can understand his reluctance to even dating again. Physical abuse is a no go for me. It happened once, one strike, and that was the last time I saw him when I immediately walked away. John is a good guy, but he needs to think beyond physical appearance if he wants to be a matchmaker. He did a good job motivating Alex. I think Alex surprised John by giving him permission to try again, but make sure to do better research. This is a fun short!
  24. Death in the Shadows is the final book in a great trilogy of stories. @astone2292 is an author with very fine skills and has written many good books, but this series is my favorite. His characters are well developed and you will love both Vincent, Mason and their friends. The book is filled with humor and unexpected twists that are very fun to read. I loved the ending with the subtle, but well telegraphed twist allowing more stories in this universe while tying up threads with a very happy ending. This is a story a reader will appreciate and love even if you don't read shifter stories. It goes beyond the genre of fantasy as an excellently written story. I highly recommend this story of adventure and romance.
  25. This is the kind of epilogue I love. It wraps up a lot of loose threads, but leave a lot of opportunity for future stories in this universe. I also noticed a crossover to include Cyn and Seamus. I wonder if Vince and Mason will make an appearance in the sequel to Cernunnos. I just want to say Thank You Aaron for a beautiful ending to all three books in the series. Looking forward to reading many more of your stories!
