I thought it more reasonable than asking for an early post. Of course, if you want to use Vann and Caleb's relationship as an excuse for writing an epic-logue, I'll be behind you 200%. (With a pitchfork as encouragement)

I love the world that WolfM has created in this series. This is a story I have been waiting for and it delivers. Randy, Trevor and Skyler are so good together. This is a sweet addition that highlights Randy and his decision on whether to become a Lycan like his two boyfriends. I do hope this is not the final chapter with these three, but the start of a new adventure for them with the Burney Pack. I suggest reading the whole "Running With the Pack" saga so you can enjoy the whole experience of this great universe.

Seth has a boyfriend! Glenn is one nice lycan and very hot if he can compete with the older hot Lycans to win Seth's arousal! Randy's anxiety before coming out to his parents was normal, but I am glad that it was unwarranted. Both parents took it very well. I am anxious to see if our triad will be fated mates after Randy's first shift. That would be awesome!

Hot damn! I thought this was going to be another Halloween story. If I had known it was about my favorite wolf triad, I would have started it immediately! I am excited to see this story continue. There is so much more needed by the Burney pack that I have come to love. With the triad back and working on the problems, I am sure there will be a lot more adventure ahead. Poor Randy. He has to go through the angst of telling his parents. At least he is not facing this alone or as a teenager.

Time has passed very quickly in these last few chapters. So many of the kids have grown up and are now starting their professions as well as a few families of their own. The loss of Louise was shocking, but realistic in the sense that with the size of Colin and Armand's family it was statistically probable someone would die young.

Aren't we all? Great chapter Geron! Now we know more about the history of the place. Martin Jemeson was the original owner of the land and first house. Interestingly, his ghost is still bound to the land. His descendants owned the land for over 100 years. These new facts lead to many new questions. Why is Martin still there? Is Akeeri still around? Is the leaf man Akeeri or Rimzi? I'm looking forward to the next vision provided by Castor.

Growing older, I have accepted death as inevitable and I refuse to worry about it. It will happen. The only thing I worry about now is how to make my own death less of a problem for those who survive me. I think both Colin and Armand need to make plans for that. I do wonder if any of the boys will have the same relationship with GG as Armand has with her.

I agree with Valrinda. The difference between magic and mundane is in the knowledge and experience of the observer, or this case the user. It may take Beckett a while to understand the how and why of his magic, but I imagine he will know someday. What happens to him next will probably not be a quick trip back, since the being who stole the star and set the trap will still be after him and Valrinda. One thing that I don't see happening is Beckett returning to a normal life back in his original reality.

I like Tommy. He is a true protector and very knowledgeable. He's a great addition to the team. Chris is also a very good friend who is as close as a brother to Greg. Greg is surprisingly quick at developing his new powers and learning to control them. James speculates that Greg can feel some of the close nobles, but I do wonder if maybe one of those connections might be to his brother/friend Chris. Also, maybe some are not so close like Prince George.

Matty and Rusty are preparing for their future together. They have left their past life and problems ahead of them will soon be resolved. Rusty has handed his "responsibilities" back to his father. He and Matty will build a new life together as Mr. and Mr. Han. Rusty will get a new family that he deserves. I do hope he keeps in touch with his brother. Great writing! The great thing about the hot sex is that it shows no matter what they do in bed, both are equal and loving.

She sounds a lot like Goggle. She only give out information when the time is right. 😁

Added another old friend, Dick, to the investigation who is knowledgeable of local folklore and legends. It seems the leaf bear is very dangerous. The best part is the addition of another ghost that is human. I wonder if that ghost will react to Browbeat. There are even more things to solve.

A nice happy bridge chapter like this gives us a chance to catch a breath before the evil once again is upon us. Well...except for the deep panting of the BJ. The healing is going well, at least the beginning part for Theo, and that gives us hope for the future. Sebastian may want Caleb in the pack, but Caleb and Asa in Texas will be better for all of them, especially Caleb. I do hope that Caleb does not wait long before he tells Vann the truth. Caleb and Vann both need this to happen, then more time for them to rebuild their relationship as a son and father.

We do know Huntington is focusing on Sebastian's pack, but Huntington's evil has affected shifters on a worldwide basis. Sebastian's pack stopped the production of hybrids, brought down the evil collaboration with powerful shifters in the world organization, has begun to help the hybrids and their families adjust to their condition and now is beginning the process of healing these unfortunate kids. It would seem logical that many small packs impacted by Huntington's evil would want to help end Huntington for good. Both the world organization as well as many small packs might volunteer to help fight the battle. With an overwhelming force, Sebastian and his pack might have fewer casualties in the battle.

Bill W has written not a high school romance, but a very loving story of the beginning of a lifelong friendship between two young men. It does start with a leap of faith on the part of both teenagers. A delightful tale of innocent exploration and growth.

A very realistic and loving story of innocent exploration and a lifelong friendship. A very well told story, Bill!

The confrontation was scary but resulted in Kip getting a new magical talent. I liked the suggestion that the placement of the house may prevent the "ghost" from doing something that needs to be done. Could the solution be simply moving the house a small distance? The other thing that kind of bothers me is Mildred maybe 83, but has the body of a 53-year-old woman. She should be out exploring the world again, not hiding away like a hermit. The guys should make a list of places for her to explore to encourage her to get out sometimes. Also, Lugh, the house, could look like a motorhome on the outside, and stay the same inside to go wherever Mildred wants to go. She could have her house and travel too! I want a Lugh for myself!

intonation - Word of the Day - Fri Nov 3, 2023
raven1 commented on Myr's blog entry in Writing World
If you wish to listen to a YouTube essay heavy on examples of great intonation by female singers, check this out. This combines a review with clips of the artists to illustrate the point. You can also google "Most Difficult Songs for Female Singers" to find a variety of playlists covering different time periods. Something for every age. I'm sure @drpaladin would enjoy this! It fits his style by including entertainment and artistic criticism. -
I'm looking forward to that! Will it be in the Sticks and Stories entry? I hope you add a bunch more of those.

This is an interesting and short parable illustrating the importance of trust when taking a leap of faith. The parable is light and has humour, but you may not see that unless you read the "To the reader" note above. This is very short and well written. Well worth the few minutes taken to read it.

Chapter 1 - Don't Look Back
raven1 commented on Refugium's story chapter in Chapter 1 - Don't Look Back
Hopefully, Donovan's act of faith will lead to the trust both Yuri and Donovan need to end their codependency and drug abuse. -
I love the humour in this story. It is wonderful to read a story that picks me up and tickles my funny bone. Adrien is a rock-solid foundation for Elliot. Elliot's new job is toxic and Adrien is Elliot's hazmat expert who looks adorable in a Snoopy hat. A must-read vignette when you need something fluffy and fun. To continue the fun read the comments.
-
Punny you should say that! Maybe Elliott could take Adrien to work with him and ward off all the evil spirits of the management, corporation and some of the customers. I love all the puns in the story and comments. If this weren't an anthology piece, it would be a great addition to Sticks and Stories! ❤️
