    The oddest thing just happened. The power went off on my block. Pro - we don’t have to see the Christmas lights my neighbor has on. I kid you not!! Con- don’t know how long it will be out.

    Can I just say that Frank is dedicated!! After the second time, I might have been over it. Thank goodness though, or we wouldn’t have had the pleasure of this yuck fest.. lol. But now I’m worried as to where/how/when, Frank will show up.. Great job, Val!

    That might be mostly international travelers? My mom gets asked the same. She’s 76, Reader, and all officers are not created equal. She got held up for her diabetic meds because of the needles, even though she can travel with.

    @Zenobia, sounds like you got around a lot and had a wonderful time. Can’t beat those Museum deals. Hard to imagine you can get away from the city, by stepping into a park in the City. For a while at least. There aren’t that many big supermarket chains in NY. Off the top of my head I can name 3. Gristedes has been around forever and their high prices are notorious, but then so is the service they offer. The older buildings definitely hold more architectural appeal and most are must see landmarks. Although some of the newer ones, most recently the World Trade Center Hub, is stunning. Anyway, I’m so glad that you had a nice visit.
