    If I say every chapter, that I’m not going to hate Preston, maybe I won’t. This because I know what’s going to happen. I will build all this energy up and someone will find a way to make me feel something akin to distant like for the little shit. Gary?🤨 now that’s done.. I enjoy seeing how well Jimmy and Drake are together. It is so natural. I won’t ask any questions I’ll just wait to fall, right along with Drake. Excellent Gary..

    Definitely a must read! It is a riveting, emotional ride. Parker doesn’t just unravel the character, he unravels the reader as well. The person I was as I started reading, was totally changed by the end of this story. It is a riveting, emotional ride... ps: great review Spikey

    This is what I thought would happen if the dads lost their minds over the wedding.. I can see César side, but I’m with Brett on this. Can’t let money cloud everything. Sometimes it’s not worth it. Ozzie and CJ have proved to be responsible so far, so let them be. It’s nice that Silas can be around more. I like it. (Can you tell I’m up early?)

    Why oh why did Jimmy and Drake break up! Ying and Yang. Jimmy did so good holding Drake up and then falling back letting Drake hold his own. They know each other so well and it showed here. I’m not even going to waste time loathing Preston. Jimmy Dean can do all the heavy lifting on that one. Ha! I think Preston met his match and it’s delightful. And he, JD, helped keep mom in check too. Hmm. I’ll table the question you may or may not have raised about Preston, for now. Oh, and is there anyone who doesn’t have a person or memory associated with White Diamonds? Lol. Awesome chapter!

    Great chapters Val. (I caught up) The fear is still there in Galen, but he took a big step asking to see Dr Snowden. I have a feeling that Galen is holding back from talking with Josh because once that dam opens... it’s a wrap. He’s probably still overwhelmed to deal with it all. And although some part of him knows Josh will be there, the other part might be afraid to go there just yet. But it would be the best thing! Baby steps ..

    CJ has great taste. That’s a lovely birthday gift for Owen. Ya think CJ has a future in politics, should he want it? He’s got an impressive following and that’s amazing because it’s on his own merit. I’m kinda looking forward to the ‘trouble’ in NY for the modeling shoot! Of course it’s Versace. And you’re too late about that open bar.. I promise to only do shots off of my bartender, after all the notable guests have left. Nice chapter, C.

    You guys are funny.. but you’re right. I read half of a James Patterson book. I can’t do it. When I was in my pre- teen, early teen years, I would swipe my mom’s Sidney Sheldon books. I remember being totally lost in the thrill of it. I haven’t read him in years since then, and now I’m kinda curious if he’d still hold up to my changed taste when it comes to that genre.

    That was gut wrenching. I kept walking away to steel myself and then go back. This was over the summer when I was still in lurk mode. That story wrung me the heck out. But it was all good!

    I love this. Language is a fascinating thing.. You mention about arranging words to create a flow. It’s why I love reading poetry aloud. It’s like music. I’m sure there are others, and I probably should think about it, but off the top of my head: Mellifluous Gossamer Supine Bisou (although it’s french.)

    So, so much goodness. Elite hanging together with 1/2 the Squad...Cheers! A tatted Harley, who maybe in love?....Yes! Ritchie got a BJ? What the..!!??? Brett’s reaction to the engagement, just about right. It’s right there with how he blew up at CJ and his sexcapade that one time..(the details escape me) but Carlos, you are losing cred with these sweet, romantic moments.. The reason for Brett’s outburst is such a real, heartfelt thing and it had me tearing up. César’s birthday speech had me reaching for tissues. Another wonderful chapter, (2 sweet ones) I’m feeling like this is a set up.
