Not so many after Thanksgiving. -
We have that kind of Cracker Barrel too. Kraft couldn't completely trademark the name, but when the restaurant began offering grocery products under the same name, they took exception and now they market under CB Old Country Store. We also have Outback Steakhouse, the fake Australian themed restaurants invented in Tampa, FL.

Corbin has already found a love interest. Everyone at the castle seems nice. The castle may not be as safe as it seems. Since the traitors were council members, some of their associates would be familiar with the layout and possibly secret ways to get it. There also doesn't seem to be security heavy.

Both Dev's grandfather and father have lived long enough to see more than one period of hard times and understand there can be a great advantage in being self sufficient. It's a trait you'll see in those who lived through the Great Depression. They learned the lesson of not taking everything for granted.

Birds don't necessarily need to flap their wings constantly to stay aloft. They can use dynamic soaring. I imagine Mac will learn this in time.
