    I remember a friend of mine taking a test flight in a plane he was thinking about buying. You'd think having to reinflate the tires and jump it off would have given him pause, but no. He not only took off, but with his entire family. They get to altitude and the engine stops. He did get it restarted and back to the airport. Now that piece of junk was a jalopy.

    The Resistance took some casualties under the Messiah's attack, but Messiahs were no match for the combined powers facing them. Vion is brave enough when he faces token resistance, but he was unprepared for this debacle. Now he witnesses the symbol of the Messiah's power crumble into nothing. Where do you go when your perceived refuge is destroyed?

    Ninyani's Mantis gland prize finally comes to light. There are still things we don't know about Mantis glands. We know they cause mutations if a Messiah eats more than one, but what would happen if they underwent a Demifae ceremony? What would happen to a shift? If a Shift or Demifae ate one, what happens? I don't think Tchama going to this protest is very wise.

    Nothing wrong with a healthy bit of incertitude. Most of the world's problems are caused by people filled with boundless certitude.
