  1. I just got done drinking Martinis and eating French food with some of the friends I made there tonight.
  2. I made use of a website called MeetUp.com. I am actually an organizer of one of the Gay MeetUps here in San Diego. When I first came out recently I was totally alone and an outsider in the Gay Community. I had no gay friends still with me so I was quite alone and isolated. So, a coworker of mine introduced me to MeetUp.com where people can get together to plan 'MeetUps' with people of similar interests. For him it was a French Language MeetUp. For others it's a sports or activity MeetUp. For me, it was a Gay Singles MeetUp. From this web site I have made many friends and two possibilities for a relationship. For socializing one's self it is perhaps the most powerful tool I have ever encountered. It is NOT a Match.com or a Grindr, it is merely a place where folks of like interest can plan face to face Meetups. Also, for friendships, do not limit yourself to just 'Young Adults'. If we lived closer I'd be your companion for shopping, movies, games, concerts, etc. I'm actually a lot of fun for a middle aged person and I'm surprisingly well versed in current youth culture. I keep up with things, best I can. So don't limit yourself age wise. http://www.meetup.com
  3. Our only openly gay venue back then was. The Brass Rail. There was also the Hole in the wall, but no one ever talked about that place. Both are still going strong!
  4. A long time ago in a San Diego far far away.... I saw Star Wars for the first time in this theatre, circa 1977-78. I saw the 70mm version of it on a screen the length of a football field. The minute the Star Destroyer, Devestator (Darth Vader's flag ship before Executor) cruised ENDLESSLY 'over' my head in full chest vibrating thunder I was forever enslaved to this franchise. Star Wars became my childhood and has greatly entertained me at all points in my life since. Though I liked most of what was in the Prequels, I am throughly HYPED that I'll be able to see all my heroes back together in action! It is a dream nearly 40 years old for me! Alas, the Valley Circle Amphitheater no longer exists. It died about the same time as Luke's father. Betrayed and murdered by the Commercial Development side of the Force.

    Entry 10

This was a short one. I was going to add more, but more took away and made less. A slight correction. Brandon is trying to put armor on against Billy because, as you will see, Brandon will become Billy's love slave. Brandon's already hopelessly attracted to Billy, but unlike Billy's way of going about things, rather manically flitting about and trying to find the best option, Brandon is dead focused. He knows who he wants. It's just that he has no idea of how to make Billy see see how much he wants him. Jamie is a cute boy. Billy idolizes him. Brandon fears him.
  6. April 11 It’s almost like a dream. What happened with Joe. It’s like it didn't happen somehow. Like it was just another one of my 'impure' fantasies so I could finish myself off before going to sleep. The only thing that lets me know that it probably was real is that the memory is more vivid than a dream. I can remember the feel of everything. Most importantly, I can remember the smell! I didn't even notice it at the time, but today, when I came back from the gym, I caught the smell of

    Chapter 7

It's funny. A bizarre method I used to outline my stories is to create a soundtrack for them. I've always been a musician at heart and music speaks to me better than outlines. I created one for Brandon's story (or what we know of it so far) and it's finale is directed right at Billy. I finish with U2's 'All I Want Is You'. Carry on, My Master. I am listening.
  8. A Merry Unbirthday to you!!!!

    Brandon Bitner

For me, story research on the Internet often invokes whisperings and promptings from those in spirit. This sweet soul led me to his story. His final wish was that his story be told so that others could avoid his fate by stopping the cruel torment of bullies. I encourage you to explore the world of Brandon Bitner, a beautiful child who fled from this world to escape his tormentors. Share his story if you are so inclined. He will love that you would do this for him and his memory. http://www.brandonbitner.org
  11. Yeah. This was a hard one to write...that's why it took so long. It segueys into a cool and sexy Second Act, though, so stay tuned!
  12. Thanks True. I hope you guys can hang on for the ride. Just like a great ski course, we're going to be going up and down a lot on our journey.
  13. Jimmy ~~~~~~ "Sabrina!” Oh sweet Jesus! Comin’ back from my room, I heard a big thump while I was passin' by Sabrina's room. Vic was with me, thank God! He came back to the resort after he did his business in San Francisco. I'm so glad he did! I go into Sabrina's room and she's lyin' still as death on the floor. Sweet Jesus on Calvary! Vic follows me in and gasps. There's just a trickle of froth comin' from her pretty mouth, and I can't see her breathin' at all! "Oh Christ! I think

  19. Happy Birfday!!!
  20. May love and joy abide with you all the days of the rest of your lives!
  21. Oh thank you for remaining open to questions! I will avail myself of that for some items. So long as you are happy with my progress on Brandon without recharacterizing him too much from your concept of him then I am happy. If you were my only reader of this, it would be enough. I agree with character driven stories. They 'tell' me their stories as I write. Snowflake is a study in this since I write in first person from each character's perspective to give a different view on a common event or expereince. Challenging, but a lot of fun. Many thanks once again.
  22. I love this....
  23. I just loved this piece of music and wanted to attach it to the project:
