    I enjoyed your finale to April. Poem 29 really hit me, forced me to read it several times. Poem 26 tickled my senses; I felt the cool, saw the colors, smelled the grass and earth. That was lovely. Poem 28 made me smile. And of course, Poem 30 is an awesome note to oneself. Thanks for all your encouragement .

    What Might Have Happened If? really resonated with me; it's one of those questions that haunts me over and over, and you deal with it so wisely and concisely. That is the beauty of your poetry. Like Gary and Dolores, I liked Blue very much. I felt the breeze and the cool of the white railing. The Way It Is has an infectious energy about it that I must admire. Calm Down has a deep, authoritative voice in its brief way; and I love how the mirror ends The Gambler. Thanks for all of your poems this month, Adi.

    I enjoyed this chapter very much. I really liked seeing CJ weaving a net around Brad. Not every returning vet has that, and it’s a scandal. The arrival of Owen’s brother gives us a chance to see how much interesting change we’ve seen since this series began. Thanks for another great one.

    Numbers 22 and 24 are awesome. They connected with me right away. Cats are not liquid, yet they often move with liquid grace. Your characterization of Certainty is spot on. Number 23 made me want to start up a conversation with the albatross, though perhaps he’d prefer if I didn’t. The strategic retreat in Number 21 was really well illustrated. Number 25 certainly expressed the tragedy of what can befall poetry.

    Jed’s beast provides a great deal of tension in this chapter. He must work very hard to keep from taking Franklin, yet his behavior is remarkably odd enough to keep that young man away in the future. Meanwhile, what Wolfgang uncovers makes things curiouser and curiouser... great chapter!

    Loved this chapter. The not-boyfriends could love life and be fantastic neighbors, if not for the greedy malicious pigheaded uncles. Game cameras are an interesting idea; here and I was thinking about bear traps.
