    This week is awesome. Each day you served up something for me to savor. April 14 really hit home to me. I was left gasping for air. April 11 was masterful; I will save this for my classroom door. Ode to a Missing Friend makes such tangible connections to both the reader and the person you recall. April 8 made me think of so many beautiful things remembered and treasured in the mind. Thank you for all these.

    I am so very sad to hear this. Moggy leaves so many cheerful and kind memories behind. She was a good friend, and I grieve her loss. Thank you for telling us of this sad news. Now may another land be bright to see your gracious inner light, and may you find your deepest rest while we with memories are blessed.

    Richard did what he did; Drake deserved so much better. You are really good at helping us see both men and their pain, seeing each one’s hurt and point of view. Yet I still side with Drake; he deserved to be first to know, instead of last. Richard never fully trusted Drake with his fears, and therein lay their doom. Great chapter.

    I remain in awe of your observations and descriptions, delivered with eloquence and simplicity. April 4 has been with me from the moment I read it; April 7 was a perfect characterization - slothful, fat flakes of snow - and I witnessed it in my mind’s eye through you. Characterization made your April 3 poem a delight, for both of us have been living with grumpy spring. Your deep thinking in April 2 and 5 gave me pause and much to consider. April 6 I have read several times over for its beauty and its touch on my soul.
