    Chapter 8

Don and Louis rediscovering lovemaking is a beautiful thing. You tell it perfectly, and with the easy kind of grace that makes it totally nonfictional. Maybe they are growing into the idea that there is no getting to some kind of fictional normal - only back to themselves and who they are to each other. The idea that they can be parents to someone who needs them made my heart leap. Thanks for this chapter.

Well, that's lovely to have a volunteer... thanks for reading this and for trying a little of the spicy offerings...
  5. Thank you! And with cheesecake!
  6. Thank you, dear Renee. It has been humbling and exhilarating.

Wow. A nice sensual port would be good. With chocolate. And, of course, the right company, if anyone was volunteering.

    Chapter 4

This trip into an alternate eighties universe is priceless, and just got better. Philippe? Jared? Oh, boy. Can't wait for the next chapter...

    Chapter 3

Yes, but what is the right kind of luck on this night? And if Scott gets it, how badly will the time paradoxes screw him over?

It's not a PC fret but if my leg is done enough to be included in the feast...

Thank you, Moggy. Glad you liked the spices of the waning summer. Goodness, I haven't even thought about Autumn...

Cannibalistic? You're not pulling my leg are you? Thank you very much for coming to this buffet today...

A nice warm spice for the harvest table. Should we not see what all the flavors are like? Thanks for reading!

Oh, yes, definitely. Better than a hurried breakfast, no? Thank you!

Take me, willing prey for predatory pleasure; devour my desire, consume my craving; my feast spread out in front of you awaits: taste and touch, tooth and tongue, and flesh to be savored.

No, I thank you, dear Def. These characters abide in me and all who read about them. And through them we hear echoes of Skinny's voice. I hope I was faithful to it. The past is unwinding for David and Andy, even as their futures gather up joy. I am glad these few chapters were happy ones.
  18. How hard it must have been for Liz to confront Caleb, despite needing to slog through her own guilt and despair. How hard for her to deliver the stinging lesson to get Caleb to look beyond the borders of a devastated self. You portray this intensely and well.

    1-4 - The Truth

This is devastating in its directness and its vivid description. Poor Caleb, poor Mrs Pallet. And poor, hurt, unhappy Ethan.

    Ending

I am sorry you hurt, Moggy. You write the ache so well, but I am sorry that you feel it.
  21. I check my activity streams to see, but I agree it's a bit odd. Anyway, you again demonstrate your gift for portraying searing action in this chapter. How incredibly hard it must have been for Ethan, and now Caleb. Well written and gripping.

    Chapter One

Will Trevor be so anxious as to get sick 10 miles out of town? Sounds like it could happen. This is a very interesting setup. There appears to be so much for Trevor to come to terms with, and not just his burgeoning feelings for Dustin.
  23. Thank you! These two men growing together are fun to imagine. And you're right that traditions old and new help build a relationship.

    Party

Yes, life is often an alloy, not pure metal. Better if the mixture is heavier on hope than hurt, though. I think Andy and David have both found hope. Thanks.
