I started the series all over so I can remember things as they are referenced in this new addition to the saga. They're great, well-written stories, so I'm perfectly fine with that. And this one starts off with a bang.

I heard the word termagant in high school in connection with Kate in ‘The Taming of the Shrew’. I’m not Shakespearean, but it seems the word appears in the play. There was no license to Karen back then, so the rare times such behavior happened in public, there was just a lot of people muttering ‘What a bitch!’ -
Great chapter! It's going to be fun following this new bend in the narrative of 'Bluebloods'.

I've read this story up through this chapter twice, but the last time was about a year ago. I'm willing to read through it again to get grounded if the author starts the story up again.

Great chapter! I did a spring tour through Andalusia not too long ago. It was an astonishing place, and the trip really has had a long lasting effect on me. I suggest reading ‘Ornament of the World’ by Maria Rosa Menocal before visiting there.

I loved this chapter, and the story as a whole. I was in a similar place to Kyle's a few years back, and kbois is right - dealing with grief isn't an assembly line process. I certainly didn't see SleezEO coming, but he's certainly a villain that we all recognize. Kroger dominates the market where I live, and it seems that almost every time I go there, there's a new reason not to like it. Its competition here is all soulless corporate chains, not an H-E-B or Publix in site. Cheers to Retail Ninja and his colleagues for this victory. And hopefully many more!

I've been enjoying BndgDawg's new story 'Daddy Type' on Crvboy. I can't get into 'Dick's Male Retirement Ranch'.

Thanks for this episode in the CJ/Owen saga. I like how it's been like a big jigsaw puzzle. The seemingly random pieces are essential to the grand picture, all of them little masterpieces on their own.
