What a great story. I thought something sinister was going to happen at any moment. Now, we find out about the terrible conflict in the past by a powerful enemy and beings that would be compatible with human today. We are left with knowledge about the past that could help humans and a feeling that the enemy might come back if it sensed the humans. Are you laying the ground for more chapters? You have a great talent for science fiction. I have enjoyed your past efforts in this genre. Please continue

A much better ending--The bastard got his due. I was worried that this story would follow the movie , The Wicker Man, where the English villagers painfully sacrificed the surprised outsider according to an ancient tradition in a burning structure.

The slow reveal is making everyone nervous. I hope the scientists can cool the soldiers down when all three become visible and the earth people realize their technology is inferior ( and feel threatened) Nevertheless, a four armed Essell will strain credulity as to his real backgound. The first contact protocols for the earth people will be tested under stress. Then, it will take time and patience and goodwill to get a fuller, convincing background story out. Will a ship or ships from Garjah's home world arrive and disrupt matters? Sonez had reason's to hide his loss. Essell stole a ship and must have made him mad. Plus, Sonez would probably try to hold off notifying powerful parents he lost their child .

What a heart touching, poignant chapter of loss and love and near love. Both Granger and Daventry found it hard to leave. I was surprised by Granger's intense, ongoing sexual relationship with the Countess. He has really helped her to grow. Granger took charge at the end at sea as he is wont to do and achieved a faster and safe solution to get near Admiral Nelson's ship. Now, the real world of British Naval and Court and family matters will begin to define how they act and move ahead. Granger and Daventry have much new information to report. Let's hope Admial Nelson will be pleased to see them, accept what they say and will leave Russian waters and not anger the Tsar. Thank You, Mark , for another interesting chapter

Luna said someone meddled in her magic. We have learned now that she is in Sebastian's corner. “I love your mother, Sebastian.” For one heartbeat, she remained silent. But then, she looked straight at him and right into his soul. “But I love you more.” Why? Pepin is very perceptive and gave Sebastian the immediate answer he needed. “Not someone,” Pepin replied. “It has to be Uxilan. They’ve always wanted you gone. As for the rest, I believe you did quite well, Your Majesty. You fell in love with a very handsome young man.” Now Sebastian is acting to protect those he loves and likes along with Pepin who has earned from him a new measure of respect. They are going on a quest. So much is uncertain. What is known is that the enemy is more powerful than ice magic so they are in great danger. How will the iching black mark on Sebastian's chest complicate things? How will Milo and Kai and Tani recover and will they be safe? Will they return home soon? Will somone else go with them? The new adventures should be quite interesting.

I am surprised Maddox's friends reacted so calmly when he said he kissed Jonathan and wanted him to come to their party. Do they know more than they let on about him or is Maddox so full of testosterone that he can really like a guy romantically --at least before the fact theoretically to them until they see it in fact-and not lose his str8 image? Jonathan has really fallen for Maddox and is not willing to stop thinking about him intimately. His fear of not getting together with a str8 guy is weakening--if Maddox will stay str8 publicly. Maddox wants him badly. They just don't know their honest feelings about each other. Will Ray be the key to helping them better undestand each other? The tinder is set. Put these two together next time, let them talk honestly before or after sex , and let them get too close so nature takes over and Jonathan might be in Maddox's bedroom for some serious fireworks. Or something might interupt them and the great physical matchup might be put off with lots of frustration.

So Milo and Kai and Sebastian have figured out their feelings for each other.They still do know how things will work out or who will stay here or move to earth. Tani shows she very wise and adaptable. Luna wants Sebastion to unburden his heart and surprises him by knowing about Milo who he loves. Is she behind the switch or does she just know about it ? Could she help Sebastion find out who is behind the switch , if she is just a powerful observer? The black mark on Sebastian's chest still worries me. More is revealed and more is still hidden....

They will have first contact protocals and should not fight at first glance. Like he said, it's ( finally) time to show what Essell Deray can do!

Nothing is ever simple. Lies tieing many people togther are hard to keep from being discovered. The evil guys are defeated and Sebastian/Kai won and saved the kingdom. A child is started. The queen is happy and not aware of the true roles played by everyone. The chapter ends with so many loose threads , emerging personality conflicts and a possibility of impending doom over the baby's parentage and the black mark on Sebastian's chest. Sebastian is reverting somewhat to his former bad self with a modern earth language. No one knows how or why the people were interchanged. Will the earth characters be stuck in Ifigia for weeks, months, years, forever? if they stay how will they be hidden or diverted into other situations away from the queen? Will the baby look like Sebations and have magical powers? Or, eventually will Kai stay behind as the prince (with a transformed likeness as before) and Milo and Tani return back to earth ? What is really going on with the Sebation/Kai switch? Is there a master mind mage who is pulling the strings on the whole situation? I can't wait for the next chapter.......

This felt like a campfire story....I was a Boy Scout. We saved up and told ghost stories around the campfire and some really scared the younger or new guys. It was a rite of passsage for them. Thanks for a good tale and bringing back good memories. What will the next chapter reveal to make this story even spookier ? I can't wait.

So , Cyn was earlier John Brown. He was tentative and set himself apart in school. The change to a deer was dramatic and expected. The contrast with his later fuller life as a pack member with friends and with a loving mate could not be more conseqential. I still have a sense of forbodding with a very bad guy out there wanting to do Cyn harm.

After 7 plus years, this must be a one chapter story. I like it and Ryn and Feng and the open ended possibilities that could follow. Our fantasies will have to fill in what the future might hold for them.

Love Conqurs All--as it should in a good world. The absolute pain and anguish of war is going to be displaced by two guys who see a better future together far away from the battlefield. They will have challenges in Canada but they can trust each other to find solutions, I think. Thanks for this upbeat story.

A wonderful evolution of self-discovery. Will is continuing to grow and find ways to learn more about himself and his sex live/lovers/friends. He really tries to solve problems and be a supporter and helper to those he cares about. Johnny and Patrick will be better off soon. Will does put his money to good uses. He lives a wild and filled life and is a very intense guy he who comes out ahead most times. I wonder what will happend to Chris and Will on their "date." Chris could later add a new , interesting dynamic to the firm and to those living in Will's, Stef's and Grand's home. BTW, I am truly missing reading the challenges George Granger faces in a new Northern Exposure chapter as he leaves Russia. Just Saying.....

Glad to know this story will be finished. I am frequently looking for updates. I wish you good luck with your efforts to bring the story to completion.

I am betting Will might find his soul mate while attending Harvard. He should meet other smart, confident , sexy, wealthy gay males.Maybe one will love surfing, too. But this scenario is just conjecture. Mark will come up with his own brilliant, insightful, compelling, well written, complex and surprising next steps.

What an intense 5000 words. So much happened and then suddendly the chapter ended with me liking very much how Will took charge and seemed to cut the gordion knot and potentially come up with a solution that could be a win-win. I like the addition of a profession helper for Johnny. Next chapter we should be seeing judges Stef and Gran rule and hopefully sove the problems of Patrick and Johnny. Will keeps on learning and uses money effectively.

Will is a hero and a potential savior for Johnny and Patrick. Will stood up to an abuser and turned a bad situation around. He is listening and opening his soul to Johnny who is very naive and doesn't understand or accept how his model environement works . Patrick crossed a line with Johnny. Patrick was wrong. I bet if Johnny goes public with his charge on Patrick , he will kill his modelling career. No one will touch him. He needs a different solution and Will will find one. Another good chapter and I can't wait for the next one.

I love the ending--so joyus and fun

Will is my favorite character. I am not a Will hater. He played a very constructive role and really is a supporter of Zach.

Alex said he had a relative who was one of Britain's best frigate captains. Is this a spoiler ? He was very proud of his family and surely would have said if the frigate captain had been promoted. Are you saying George Granger did not make Commodore or Admiral ? Did he die in battle so he didn't advance beyond the rank of Post Captain and in command of a frigate? Am I connecting the dats in an inaccurate way?
