  1. tim asked 'who pays?' in some ways, we all do, (except those who did the foul deed-they don't care and rejoice in the pain they leave in their wake.) we are in pain because people we love and care about are hurting. some are in the crossfire and become collateral damage. we question things, comments, writings, 'did they mean that? or are messing with me?' innocence and friendship are gone.

  3. yes, after i read the last chapter. it's fun. been reading some really heavy stories, missing some light and laughter in my life, so this is hitting some lighter notes

  11. Colors paint the sky. Explosions rock the air. 4th of July Celebrations! How can we celebrate when humans are killing humans because of the color of their skin. Or who they love. Part of me wants to be under the bed with the dog. But that would change nothing.

    Footprints in the snow. Melt in the morning light. Footprints in the sand, washed away with waves. Footprints in the world. So easy to fade away. Footprints in the heart, seared in with tears. Foot prints in your life, burn pathways in your soul. Footprints of your lifetime are not easily erased.

  23. pleasures of the world all round if we are willing to see the smallest of gifts that cross your path. i have my own ghosts stopping by for a visit, with time time they become bittersweet. the Visit speaks to me more than Nature
