thank you @Dmrman ! i'm blushing at your kind words. many do not understand the how nor intensity of my heart, but i can not stop loving no matter how they may feel about me.
This year’s chapter, in your book of life,
Is closing.
Another, awaits
A blank page.
Waiting.
Waiting for thoughts, words, poems and chapters.
Some flow freely.
Some in drips and drabs.
Some needing rewrites,
Some correct as laid down.
Good, bad, pretty or ugly,
All become a story of a life.
thanks Gary!
i once went dancing alone, under the Northern Lights and a fresh snowfall. no shoes, just a loose knitted poncho i used a a skirt and a turtle neck shirt. it was magical
The last leaves of autumn are swept away
By cold winds of winter’s approach.
Snow will creep over the landscape like slow moving lava.
Blanketing the scene in brilliant shades of white.
Thus enrobed the land slumbers in darkness,
And reflects night-time stars into crystal lights,
Dancing in the sky in hues of red, blue and green of Northern lights.
So the land dreams, absorbing life giving water and waits for spring.
ohhh Parker, i forgive you for being late with this gift. can i share it with a couple of friends that i know IRL who celebrate this Holiday? i think they'd love it
