To find true love the first time is not so common place, to find it a second time, a second chance, to me, feels like a miracle ... Maurice and David were finding out more about each other and they were becoming more and more compatible in their daily lives ... Love is something that needed to be nurtured and both of them were doing a great job ... Sometimes I'm surprised that there is a view (quite prevalent in my part of the world) that older people should seal up their hearts and not be bothered with romantic feelings ... but that is so wrong ... love will bloom wherever a willing heart is beating ... Gary

This is one heart breaking story ... Would nothing ease Dean's pain ? He was just drowning it in drink and that only worked for one night ... okay, now I need a drink to perk me up ...

Look what the cat dragged in
hohochan657 commented on Puppilull's story chapter in Look what the cat dragged in
Wow, the same prompts and the resulting stories are so different ! Authors on GA are really awesome ! This Happily For Now ending is just that, we'd really like to learn more about Nathaniel and Hezekiel and of course the cat in the future, but for now we're happy for them ! -
Newsletter game - Where am I?
hohochan657 commented on Caz Pedroso's story chapter in Newsletter game - Where am I?
Now I have all this set up in my mind, a movie scene within a movie ... Thank you Caz for setting up a very clever scenario ! -
I also thought that the story was going to be a fantasy set in the modern day world, but Joey was a lawyer and he needed his robes to go to court ... tim, you played a very clever joke on us ...

I'm always profoundly moved by your poems ... after reading them over and over, I'm never sure whether you're in a good place or not ... but such is life with its ups and downs, so I'll echo Dughlas' comment and offer you an extra warm and gentle embrace ...

Memories, the lonely night, love lost, love remembered, the longing ... all evoke powerful emotions ...

It is inevitable, death, but he's no friend of ours. The words, to me, are more powerful since you've shared a little of the background to these two poems. Thank you, moggy ...

And your soul a resplendent sun ... so beautiful something all of us have, I'm sure of it ...

May C S R Discussion Day: Unison Island by Caz Pedroso
hohochan657 commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I love The Mouse That Roared ... Vash not only survived his ordeal but thrived so much afterwards ... He's a hero in my books ... This is also the first story that I've read to portray a three way relationship that makes sense to me ...- 11 comments

Oh tim ... if we cannot shoulder your pain, let us give you hugs and kisses to provide balm for your heart ...

I always worry that my interpretation of the poems is off base from your intentions, and then you'll all tell me that the meaning is what the reader sees it to be. But, using the first piece as an example, I'd worry about what is going on in CG's life (hopefully everything is all right) maybe I'm worrying for naught ... poems remain cryptic and will not divulge their secrets easily ...

Wow, I've read the story many times before and have never noticed this problem with the weeks needed to fulfill the time requirement, well done @Graeme ! Reggie had set some lofty goals for himself, to make a difference in the world; he was afraid of the future but in a very mature way (well maybe an overthought way, but still ...) that he would regret not having made an impact with his life ... The novelty of being Gay Reggie should die down with time among his friends, at least I hope it would have become an almost insignificant quality with his friends after a while; his friends would forget it, if not truly accepting him the way he was ...

Yes, Chris was very lucky to have someone like Corey watching over / out for him. He could really empathise, to a very large extent, Chris's journey forward ... Very useful having a time correlation with Running with the Pack in this chapter, trouble for me is, I'd have to go back to check out the details in that wonderful story ...

It would be a bit, well more like, quite, cruel for Chris to have to shift from human to wolf with a tracking monitor bound to his ankle; although both Kyle and Corey tried to keep an eye on him during his transformation, there wouldn't be a lot that they could do if anything went wrong ... The great outdoors was a welcome change for all of us as the last few entries in Chris's journal left me with a stifling sense of claustrophobia, maintenance work never sounded better (not really, I'm a die hard couch potato) So, I suppose the painful shift was a fair trade off for Chris, not to be confined in a jail cell but to be running free as a pack of three and hunting as well ... A little sad that at the age of 19 did Chris start to feel enough trust to make some real friends ...

Very perceptive, TimT ! I was going to point that out ... Bullies always pick on someone they think to be smaller or weaker than they are ... Whoa, and I thought Canada was a safer place ... my rosy perception of the country has been shattered many times now ... Well at least the bouncer was polite and professional ... I agree that Liam should press charges against that bastard, if not for himself, then at least to keep him from hurting anyone else in the immediate future ... Alek and Liam, a sleepover ... hmm ... maybe @LitLover will keep them to their promise to take things slow, then again, maybe NOT ...

Sending you a lot of positive energy ! Happy thoughts coming your way !

At least Chris had a mentor in Darin, a guide through his formative stage ... Well, Chris's father was really shrewd, he managed to find someone to fill in a role which he'd never be able to play himself, being someone who Chris would look up to and be inspired by ... This is such a heart warming story without a lot of theatrics, Wayne !

Unrequited love is the most painful of all heartaches and yet sometimes it is somewhat too self absorbed (when it is a crush / infatuation) ... In the cases involving Elliot and Brandon, the former sentiment would be true ... The two songs that you've referenced here have completely gone over my head, sorry, I don't think I've listened to them before ...

Stuart really was a nice person (I really have to try harder to find a better description for him) but he was also human not a saint, so he'd get angry and frustrated with Cyril's abrasive behaviour ... yet he still had enough compassion to offer a safe haven for Cyril and I'm so glad that that offer was eventually taken ... To try to be nice to someone who had been rejecting a friendly gesture time and again spoke volumes about Stuart's character and he'd be someone I'd like to meet in real life ...

This line of conversation (above) is very interesting ... Back to the story comment - Reggie found out that he was lonely but then his friends rallied around him to show him that he was not alone ... We follow his emotions going up and down and then as his mind would work, off at a tangent onto a seemingly frivolous subject but I suppose really important to almost all men (I also bet a virtual dollar that we all measured ourselves at some point) ...

For you : I pray that he will always protect you with his love For him : I pray that he will always cherish what is so precious, your love for him

Trying to forgive him will set you free; I know this is very cliche but sometimes conventional wisdom does work ... more for you

From an instruction / warning / entreaty to others to stay true to pain and then, more pain, and finding peace in a castle / fortress of your own

I really wish I have a magic band aid to fix all the broken hearts in the world ... f--king hell ...
