A very good story. It had me chuckling at several points, and I loved the ending!

Thank you. The first incarnation of the story was more Marvel Superhero, but it didn't flow for me. This one, hit me right after I saw a rerun on Science Channel about a Gamma-Ray Burst. In my mind, they did get back safe to the shelter. Though what happened on the trip is a story unto itself. Thank you. Thank you, Tim. I went a bit dark on the treatment of the Gay couple, and it was hard to write and think about. My Beta reader said, "it captures what a lot of survivalists would think." Still, thinking because you're not breeding, you're useless is completely alien to me. Thanks, Valkyrie. That's what I was hoping for. Trying to inform, in such a small amount. Thank you! I seem to have a theme of Gay Couples in my writings, trying to show love in different situations. I think I need to branch out some.

Exactly! That's how it works in my story's universe. I love time Travel stories. Take the last Season of CW's The Flash and how they did Flashpoint. That will not occur in my story, as it would get awfully confusing how the Timelines are intersected.

Zirsi will be pointing out soon, that "Magic is powerful, but even it has it has limits. We can send non-living simple items back in time, at a steep cost. We can scry the past, and see events on how they unfold. Even Psychics can do that. But, even with our Technological, and Magical Knowledge, the Thorian Empire, and our allies, have never been able to send back in time a living person or a sophisticated machine. Something is blocking it, and we do not know who or what that is." So, the future four had a 'one shot' of sending something back. If they acted in the past on the information given, it locked one timeline, from interfering with the new timeline. Zirsi did that when he went to Gilese and shared the information with the Humans.
