  1. “What do you mean you are leaving now?” Kyle asks Gavin, as he moved to head towards the exit. “Well, the party is winding down, and you have that client to impress,” Gavin says while leaning in to give his boyfriend a kiss. “I got a distinct impression; he would rather not see a gay couple.” “That would be his loss, not mine. Really don’t need him, or his money, if he can’t be a decent non-homophobic person,” Kyle responds. “Bullshit. I know he’s one of the bigger clients y

    Mystery Machine

A very good story. It had me chuckling at several points, and I loved the ending!

    Radiated Love

Thank you. The first incarnation of the story was more Marvel Superhero, but it didn't flow for me. This one, hit me right after I saw a rerun on Science Channel about a Gamma-Ray Burst. In my mind, they did get back safe to the shelter. Though what happened on the trip is a story unto itself. Thank you. Thank you, Tim. I went a bit dark on the treatment of the Gay couple, and it was hard to write and think about. My Beta reader said, "it captures what a lot of survivalists would think." Still, thinking because you're not breeding, you're useless is completely alien to me. Thanks, Valkyrie. That's what I was hoping for. Trying to inform, in such a small amount. Thank you! I seem to have a theme of Gay Couples in my writings, trying to show love in different situations. I think I need to branch out some.
  4. It reminded me of a decent into madness. I thoroughly enjoyed the story.

    Atop the Height

I really need to remember not to cut onions while reading stories on GA. *wipes tears* Lovely story Drew. Sad, but touching.
  6. This reminded me of an old Loony Toon short. Where Circle, Loop, and Square all danced to music on the screen. Or was it Fantasia? Ethier way, I could picture this story perfectly in my head. Excellent work.

    Bradley's Morning

A Fairy wedding! Loved it. And the description of the Fairy was nice.
  8. Simply amazing. Nathaniel and Zeke, and the black cat, I can see the happy little family living away from the oppressive society.

    Loved it! Nice, and quick.
  16. Simon opened the front door and found a radioactive Dust storm headed his way. Simon stared, shocked, but then Simon remembered he had a Gamma-Ray shield and…. He prepared himself to venture out into the wind. It has been over five years since the gamma-ray burst struck the Earth at an odd angle; killing all life on a quarter of the planet when it did so. Now the survivors of the extinction level event were doing their best to do just that, to survive. Simon was leaving the safety of the fal
  17. Hugs for you Drew. Great poem. Pets can touch us, as much as our fellow Humans do.
  18. I discovered this story following a link, in old prompts. Wow... nothing I want to share publicly, but I so feel for Sam. Great Story Tim!
  19. Exactly! That's how it works in my story's universe. I love time Travel stories. Take the last Season of CW's The Flash and how they did Flashpoint. That will not occur in my story, as it would get awfully confusing how the Timelines are intersected.
  20. Caleb walked into the office and looked around at the bright cheerful décor. He was still fuming from where his Mother had set him up with a Matchmaker. However, he wanted to make her happy, so he decided to humor her. His first visit with the Matchmaker, Linda Styles, was at his condo off of Bayshore Blvd., three weeks ago. They sat on the balcony sipping coffee while looking out over Tampa Bay, and Downtown Tampa. She had him fill out the forms, and answer questions on what he was attracted to
  21. Thank you. I do agree with the time travel and author's intentions, as I've been stumped a few times when reading stories with this element. Zirsi will be pointing out soon, that "Magic is powerful, but even it has it has limits. We can send non-living simple items back in time, at a steep cost. We can scry the past, and see events on how they unfold. Even Psychics can do that. But, even with our Technological, and Magical Knowledge, the Thorian Empire, and our allies, have never been able to send back in time a living person or a sophisticated machine. Something is blocking it, and we do not know who or what that is." So, the future four had a 'one shot' of sending something back. If they acted in the past on the information given, it locked one timeline, from interfering with the new timeline. Zirsi did that when he went to Gilese and shared the information with the Humans.
  22. You're welcome!
  23. Aeris was running late. Walking into his quarters after having a nice lunch with Jules, he sighs contently. They were a month into the voyage back to the Sol System to report on the happenings in the Gilese system, or as the crew of the Prometheus have dubbed it, the ‘Battle of Gilese Prime.’ He had just stripped out of his uniform and was putting on his jockstrap and workout shorts when the door chime rang. “Come in,” Aeris said. The computer immediately opened the door, while playing the
