  1. More of a narrative posting, and less a short story or even a Journal Entry. It's told from the 1st person PoV, in several paragraphs of narrative. Not really a Journal Entry, or even a short story. More of an Emotive Narrative posting. Overall, was well written and had a good message.

  2. Not really a Journal Entry, not really a short story. Something in-between. Good message though.
  3. My creativity lays in Writing and Role-Playing. But that is basically two-sides of the same coin, as they say.
  4. There was a petion when Disney first got the rights to Star Wars for them to have BioWare do a Feature Lenght Cinematic based on The Old Republic Timeline. The response was, to put the Canonization team in with the BioWare on the SW:TOR project, and some elements have been canonized. So it's possible they will make a full movie or more!
  5. A beautifully written Christmas tale, with a moral embedded in it. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and would recommend it to anyone.

  6. A similar issue for me. But also, like @Comicality said once. I can't write a raging battle scene, when I'm in the mood to write some hot and heavy sex scene.

Awesome! Visiting the Nordic countries is on my Bucket List. Always been fascinated with the culture, mythos, and pictures of the countryside. Just gotta make sure to go during the Summer.

Thanks! yes, a companion is spot on for Rune. He's a powerhouse in his own right, but you really wouldn't tell just from his humble exterior. I want a Strider Cat too.

I would NNNEEEEVVVVEEEERRRRR do that.... OK, maybe I am. LOL Seriously though, it was great little SciFi story. I think you would do well writing a longer one. Your Tristan story showed you had the knack for it, with the Vampire/Urban Fantasy mix-up. Plus, a number of your horror-themed works.

Thanks for reading! Yeah, the curse is the first part and then finding out who hired the Wizards. Then total Dragon Domination... It's gonna be epic. On the name Rune, I actually got it from an Icelandic Baby Name list. lol. I think it's cool that you liked it.

You have a knack for SciFi, tim! Loved the story man, was most excellent.

Thanks again, tim, for reading. I agree about the editing.

Thanks, tim. It's fun writing about characters I know a lot about from my gaming world. I'm glad you're liking the prompt stories so far.

Thanks, jp. Both Honsol and Rune are former D&D characters of mine. Makes me happy you find them intriguing.

Thanks, Agent D. Gregory might make an appearance. It will be some fireworks if he does with Rune. lol. I agree with you on the editing bit. Though not sure, if anyone would want to edit, my literally randomly done practice pieces. I try to self-edit, but I am not that good at it.

    Venturing forth ...

Good luck, in your new endeavor. I hope it is successful!
  19. Agreed. I find getting into the mindset to write really easy. Just staying on one project at a time, well that's hard.
  20. Currently, I'm working on Chapter 5 of my story called The Half-Elven Warlock. I am wanting to complete this story, so I've been focused on it. (If you do the World Feature for the Stories section, the world this is written in Modern Earth + a Fantasy realm that are connected, then more will be in this world.) Also working on: My Shorts - 2018. Writing Prompts that I use as practice, and I post them Raw. They are unedited, beyond what I self-edit, and not beta read. I find that I'm getting better at every posting. Summer Contest - Won't discuss it, as per the rules. Spring Anthology 2018 - Decided today to do one. 3 other serial stories that need work. a Star Trek FanFic (which is the ONLY one currently in that category), my SciFi Story Aeris - Guardian Force, and my Urban Fantasy Romance, Finding Eros in Florida. Those are the biggies, but I'm posting practice pieces, Cia's Newsletter Prompt stories, and others as they hit me as well. Currently working on one for the Newsletter Prompt: Forbidden Love. That one is now Finalized, even with the February 9th deadline, as it has be submitted for approval. Yes, I'm writing about a moderated subject, Incest. And so far, I think my small team of helpers is liking it. It's not a typical love story.
  21. My major project for this year is the contest. I've got a small team that agreed to Beta Read and Edit for me, spent the last few months doing research, and I think I'm ready for it. As the rules state, I won't discuss the project beyond that.
  22. First off, obligatory FanBoy SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! *coughs* I wasn't really planning on doing an Anthology piece, because of other writing projects. However, I'm in agreement that the themes lend themselves to a SciFi story... I think I can squeeze one in.
