Occam's Razor and Doppler Effect
BDANR commented on Parker Owens's story chapter in Occam's Razor and Doppler Effect
Creative and structured beautifully! I like the mix of science, love, and romance :). -
The air was cool. Tranquil. The sky was at its clearest with the sun bearing down with great intensity. Stefan welcomed the coolness and sun that refused to be hidden behind clouds. It gave him some courage to proceed with his plan: he wanted to see Chris, one-on-one. Stefan worried for his friend’s safety. He believed bringing Devan and Jesse along would agitate Chris. But Stefan pondered if he was trying to prove a point: He didn’t want to appear cowardly. He’s lived with this man for som

Stefan's free! The moment we've been waiting for. And fortunately, he has Devan to stay with :). Mmhmm, Jesse lost someone pretty good. Though you've already read the chapter, Jesse starts to realize just how much he's given up.
-
Yeah! It's a great start. I think Jesse's insight on domestic violence and relationships will be of great assistance to Stefan at some point, though you're right, he may not be much help right now. Devan is giving Jesse much needed tough love!

Chapter 12: Running Around in Circles
BDANR commented on BDANR's story chapter in Chapter 12: Running Around in Circles
That really means a lot. It's nice to put into words what I've been experiencing and I'm happy that I have others to share it with. Thanks for keeping me motivated :). -
I’m running around in circles Trying not to give in I fear you’ve got the best of me I fear that you will win My body reduced to empty A result of your theft Yet it is weighed down heavily From the load that you left A vile memory of the past The horror and the dread. But if the moment is over Why are you in my head? Life has taken a new design I feel trapped in a chest My world has shrunken much smaller

Very lovely. I was just taking a walk last night getting excited by the fall weather and you described it so well. Another great piece, Timmy :D!

This is the first I've read a story between Geoff and Tony. I like your writing style, seeing the way your characters interact, and how you express emotions. I'll have to check out more of your work. Thank you for sharing this! - Bryant

I also forgot to comment that I hadn't heard of transhumanism before. How long have you considered yourself a transhumanist?

Very good chapter! Kept me interested all the way through. You are a great storyteller and I''m in love with the scenes you describe. Very well done :D!

Complications arose when Devan told Jesse that Stefan had been staying at his place to keep safe from Chris. Jesse grew worrisome. He didn’t want to be responsible for putting Stefan out. But Devan would receive a phone call offering Jesse an apartment just two days before his stay at Filiberto’s would be over. To make Devan feel better about moving forward, Jesse suggested he’d be employed the first week he was moved in. He had interviews lined up, surely a job would fall into his lap sooner or

I've watched a few episodes of Full Metal Alchemist and I like the show, but I haven't finished it yet. I wanted to watch the whole video, but I had to watch out for the spoilers..

Prompt #611 - First Line - “Do you think we can do it again?”
BDANR commented on Brayon's story chapter in Prompt #611 - First Line - “Do you think we can do it again?”
This was a really cute story, BHopper. I'll have to read more of your work on here :). - Bryant -
This was a fun, sweet story, Parker. I liked it. Unfortunately, word problems are not my strength...

Our existence is cosmic Our being is hypnotic Born from stars and beasts and trees We shine a radiant glow Life’s beautiful creations Miracles of circumstance Like the lighthouses at night We guide our own history Toiling the land, hands in dirt Seekers of growth, giving birth We swim oceans, climb mountains Carrying the world on shoulders Some are destined to destroy Making discord in thei

Chapter 61 Charity and Waking
BDANR commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 61 Charity and Waking
"Charity" was a treasure to read. While not meant to be a message, it definitely showed me the importance of looking out for your fellow human being. I also liked your poem "Waking," especially its ending and how it speaks to the resilience of human beings. Thank you for these :). -
Melancholic, but pretty. I loved how you ended, imagining your son pursuing those dreams. Thank you for your poem.
-
Heartbreaking, yet I love the theme of self-preservation and loving someone, even when letting them go. Thank you for this, moggy.

Devan had to admit something the second he woke up that morning: He was clearly in way over his head. Jesse and himself searched for apartments for the last three days without luck. Despite the combined contributions of Filiberto and himself, even if Jesse were to get a job, he wouldn’t be able to pay rent for at least another month. In addition, Filiberto wasn’t too keen on Jesse staying awhile longer in his place. If things didn’t work out, Devan would need to have Jesse live with him. He

Depression is a beast. It takes a lot of strength to smile through. Take care of yourself, timmy.

Chapter 10: What if You Knew Their Names?
BDANR commented on BDANR's story chapter in Chapter 10: What if You Knew Their Names?
You'd know much better than I would, Jimmy... I'm not sure what the solution would look like. I can't say I was able to correct my own assumptions until I moved to a city where there's more homeless than anywhere else I've ever been. It took just having conversations in order to correct my mindset for the better, but most wouldn't do even that as you've mentioned. Thank you for your honesty and your feedback <3, Bryant -
Chapter 10: What if You Knew Their Names?
BDANR commented on BDANR's story chapter in Chapter 10: What if You Knew Their Names?
What a heartfelt affirmation! Thank you so much, Parker. It felt good to create something like this. I love what I do and I have a lot of passion for who I serve. -
Would you call a homeless man a bum if you knew his name? Tell him he’s lazy, deserving of this difficult fate? You’d never know the work he does to turn it around Fighting against a system that always puts him down Would you call a woman a tramp if you knew her name? Having sex for money so she’d have a bed for sleep Would you hold it against her? Would you hear her pleas? Used constantly by men who don’t care if she lives Would you call a m

I love the wording you used in this one. Every word you use is intentional and adds a layer of complexity and depth to your poetry, which is why I enjoy reading them! Very good, asamvav :).
