  1. Tocho's parents' car was gone, and my light knock on the door went unanswered. It was early afternoon. Perhaps Tocho was sleeping. I quietly entered the house and walked silently down the hallway in my bare feet. Tocho's lessons in stealth were paying off. Tocho was not asleep. On top of Mateo, he was in the process of working towards an orgasm, with added features. Mateo was handcuffed to the headboard, and clothes pegs were attached to his nipples. Aided by the spirit connection, it was a
  2. Your point is well taken, Craig. It was raised by another reader in the "Indian Heaven" chapter. As mentioned early on, the story is set in 1967. AIDS didn't exist, condom usage was at a low point due to birth control pills, and not a great deal of attention was being paid to STDs. I definitely do not mean to trivialize STDs, but the behavior of the characters in that regard is consistent with their age and the times they lived in.
  3. Thanks for commenting, Jeffrey. I'm glad you continue to find the story interesting
  4. Some very astute observations there, @Anton_Cloche. And hopefully the experience will help Dallen to look at himself and see that he has the same needs. That particular song (of my youth) has become more meaningful as time passes. As an aside, I would have included some of the lyrics in the story, but such use may be a copyright violation. Or it may not, depending on one's source. In any event, I satisfied myself with the reference to the song. Jefferson Airplane was one of the few groups I really liked when growing up, and I still do. You'll find a reference to another of their songs in the next chapter
  5. Thanks for your comments and your continued support, Chris. Now, we all know that Pahana is both trainable and versatile - among other things
  6. I think Dallen is very analytical, sort of like the individual he was modeled after. He's having fun gathering all of the clues, and he'll put it all together soon. I promise. In the meantime, this Beatle's song applies:
  7. Thanks for your observations, VBlew. More clues but no answers yet. But Dallen is enjoying the journey, even if the destination is uncertain
  8. Thanks very much for your encouragement, @centexhairysub. I hope you continue to enjoy the story

LOL! I'm glad you "enjoyed" the chapter. And I enjoyed your speculation
  10. I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I smiled at your comments. Sometimes the reader sees characteristics that the author may have put in subconsciously

    Tocho

Thanks for your comments again. We should all have parents like Dallen

Thanks for reading and for your comments, @centexhairysub. There are six chapters for you to read now, and another tomorrow morning if all goes well
  13. Thanks for your comments and your accurate analysis, @centexhairysub.
  14. I think I'll leave the elf and lycan stories to @Geron Kees and @WolfM respectively, who do much better with that than I could. But the creatures in this story are starting to look a little less than normal. Maybe ask me that question again when this story is finished
  15. A werewhale sounds interesting, but I don't think I'll get further than maybe a wereowl
  16. Thanks for your observations, @Dhpiet77. "Unique" is a good description.
  17. Hey, not a bad idea. Sounds like material for a sequel
  18. Did you mean catching up to Mateo? Maybe he'll catch up, or maybe he's had all the experience he wants or needs, like he said. Only time will tell. 😈
  19. Thanks for your observations, Scrubber. I think you're on the right track on both subjects
  20. I slept until mid-morning after my all-night experience with Kahoni. Mom was gone and had left a note suggesting I could have the rest of the apple pie for breakfast, an unusual treat. I didn't hesitate to take her up on it. One of the side effects of Tocho's accident was that I now knew the way through the woods to his home. It was a mile and a half from my house on a lightly used path by way of the clearing. It was the route I would take almost daily to visit Tocho while he was housebound

Good observations, Craig. As they say on news broadcasts, "Stay tuned for future developments"

With as many mentors as Dallen has, what could possibly go wrong

    1.

What a delightfully unexpected ending to a great short story. Unlike many others, I haven't read your stories elsewhere, and while I'll go looking, I hope you post some more here

You'll note that no mention has been made of him riding a bicycle anywhere

Yes, Pahana is acquiring a large number of new names - and relatives. As to the driver's license, maybe he can just use a bunch of initials, per your example
