Oh, poor Erik! I have had massages that released cramped muscles that felt like heaven. He’s going to be in pain today, but the recovery should be remarkable after he sleeps a while. When I experienced this, it was like the cramps and soreness had never existed by the next day.

Poor Jason. His treasured wolf was attacked by Devyn because he didn’t understand what Elroy meant to Jason. Devyn simply saw a stuffie toy. Our pup adores hers. She chews and shakes the stuffing out of them, literally. I am constantly finding batting all over the house. I’m certain that Devyn realizes that he really upset Jason when he grabbed the toy. When he can speak properly, I am positive he will apologize. Devyn is a puppy. He has a good heart, even if his mother doesn’t quite see it, others seem to.

As he is able to lift his arm, it is not, at least, a torn rotator cuff. (My husband did both of his within 2 years by simply catching himself 1) falling off a step he forgot about in our new house and 2) when he slipped on ice. Both times he hit his shoulder and that was that). That would put him out for half a turn! He may have cracked bones, however. He will be out of commission for a while. Maybe he will be one of the first convalescents at Southern?! H’Rek would like that! Please! Don’t give the wing to F’Drun!

The Oriental. My mom remembered it better than I do. She grew up going to matinees there and told stories of the manager giving kids free ice creams (this was during the Depression), but only if they left the theater by a certain time. He was clearing it out to get ready for the Saturday evening adult shows. They got free dishes and glassware! https://mkefilm.org/oriental-theatre

Good for both Alice and Shayna! Alice got her self-esteem back to get out in time and got the support she needed from Shayna. Hopefully, she can get far, far away. Shayna may have forced the first crack in the iron-fisted control that Fergus has over the pack by doing so. Others may be able to get into this crack and widen it in order to actually break it into pieces now. (Jimmy to the rescue of the pack! Even if he doesn’t realize, or expect it!)

No, I don’t. I’m not much of a gardener. I’m more of a handcrafter (crochet, embroidery, baking, etc). However, those are from animals, which I can handle. It’s the fact the other came from humans that freaks me out. I am fully aware that humans are part of the soil everywhere, but that is from natural selection. These innocent people were murdered and then callously treated in this manner. That is what offends me so much.

I’m sorry. Naomi has crippling medical bills that she can’t pay? Then why is she at an expensive Hawaiian retreat like Epic Life? Don’t tell me this was only a $50 weekend. This thing had to have cost several hundred, if not thousands, of dollars. She should have been putting those funds to paying off those bills. Well, I guess not everyone has the benefit of being raised by my Mom who knew how to put priorities straight.

I hate CSI Miami. The lead actor is SO BORING, Everything he says is in a monotone. Even hubby won’t watch that one!

Christopher is his first name. I don’t remember the character’s last name. He is played by Lucas Black, I think. It isn’t such a coincidence. Hubby watches some form of NCIS or Law & Order ALL THE TIME! Sometimes it drives me nuts! 📺

My husband is playing NCIS—New Orleans in the other room as I am reading this and I am hearing Special Agent Christopher’s voice for Billy’s voice. 😆 It’s the same accent, I swear. I can hear them both swallowing various sounds when they speak. 😉

I knew after the first couple of paragraphs, which described such a wonderfully lovely life, that something awful was about to happen. Even so, I almost cried with them as I pictured the devastation that greeted them upon their return from their happy sojourn. Then to have to leave Sparty behind on top of it? This is a devastating loss for him. I hope Nan is able to locate MeeMee and he is able to relocate her to their new home. -

I just don’t remember the mother being mentioned at all. Is she still in the picture? Are they divorced? Has she passed? Is she that belittled that she has no self-esteem to stand up to a bullying husband? Maybe Alex could explain. If need be, maybe Pete and Jimmy, with Evie and Don’s assistance, could do something. Why didn’t Evie do some explaining, by the way? She would know. If there has been a divorce and Paul kept them separate, maybe she could come back now. I don’t really think that’s in the offing, though, because Paul gave up custody WAY too quickly and easily. I’m sorry, but there are a lot of holes here.

I love road trips, but you’re right. They are tiring, even though you just sit. I get wanderlust every Spring and it didn’t get relieved this year. 😓 Maybe a couple of day trips to see the foliage are in store. Hmmmmmmm...

LOL! How many 9-year-olds have you dealt with? I taught for 31 years as a Librarian. I didn’t have 25 kids per year. I averaged over 750. Believe me. Kids do incredible things! They are, at the same time, incredibly brilliant and incredibly silly/careless/‘dumb’ and can do the strangest things at the most inexplicable times, leaving you scratching your head! 😂🤣😂
