    Chapter 3

There are so many characters! Could you put a character list together?

    Chapter 69

I love these! They always make me laugh. 🤭
  3. It can take quite a while to recover from such a traumatic event. We have a nephew who lost his left leg from just below the knee in a car accident about 3 years ago. He is still dealing with pain and trying to get prosthetics that actually fit. It can take a long time for the stump to shrink to its final shape and the cup on the leg has to constantly be remade. Brad would better access to services than my nephew, but it still is an extremely difficult thing to do, especially with both legs. Luckily, Brad has a great support system. So does my nephew.

Yay! That means we have so much more to look forward to!

    Just A Marriage?

Thank you for pushing the Libraries. Depending on your community, you may only need a single card to utilize the entire county, or even the entire state, as it is in Rhode Island. I think I have you beat, though. I have a card for the Library in Blarney, Ireland! We needed to use their Internet connection when we were traveling there, and the only way we could was if one of us was a member. I am a Librarian, so of course, I joined!

    Respect

Don’t give up yet. We know where the story is heading with the ‘confrontation’ with Ethan. Things will change after that.

    Chapter 68

    Chapter 18

This has been a wonderful story with a wonderful wrap-up. I look forward to visiting them in the future. Hopefully, you’ll have another story with Petr and Riku in the near future.

I agree with Dez. I am beginning to suspect the cookies. Could it be a jealous mother who thinks her son who should be Alpha, not Beta?
  10. I’ve been rereading your other stories and this series was next on my list. I cheered when I saw it on the upload list this morning. Thank you! I’ve missed the chaos of this group. I’m so glad it’s back. 🥰

    Chapter 21

OK. You finished one of your other stories after a long hiatus. May we please have this one, too. We’re waiting like good boys and girls. 🙏🏻👏🏼😇
  12. Yay! And the funny thing I just reread all the stories over the past wee and wondered and hoped you would finish them. Thank you! This is a good ending to a good story.
  13. I’m not sure about your response, but it’s not a ‘Daddy’ situation. We were both adults when we met. I had been teaching for 12 years when we married. We married to be there for each other, because we wanted to be with the other one forever. Now I am the caregiver, after he had a stroke just over a year ago, I am glad to take care of him. He is a very loving, generous person and I am happy to be there for him. (He’s doing quite well, BTW. He’s just a little wobbly when walking occasionally and has some short-term memory problems. Otherwise, you’d never know it happened.)
  14. So what if there is 15-16 years between them? My husband is 19 years older than me, almost to the day (our birthdays are exactly one week apart). We often joke about him entering his Sophomore year of college just as I was born! He calls me his Child Bride. We will be celebrating 20 years this June. 👰🏻
  15. Joh, I am rereading several of my favorite stories and I just came across the scene where Patrick meets his new Grandparents for the first time. I just wanted to tell you how much I love Grandpa’s comment, “You should have been here all along. You were just misplaced.” I still have tears in my eyes. That is such a perfect description for every adopted child. I hope you will be continuing these stories. They are too good to leave alone.

    The Place

Brad could become a star. There was an actor in the 40s named Herbert Marshall who lost one leg in WWI and almost no one knew it until after he died.

    The Oscars

I’m so happy to have you telling Brad’s story. Our family has served in every branch, including the National Guard (my husband in the Army NG for 30 years and my Dad in the AF NG for 33). We have a current member on a submarine. You can bet we support our Vets. Unfortunately, here in RI, the state Veteran’s Home is currently under investigation for misuse of funds after only 3 years. The worst thing about it is that the former director (he resigned after it blew up) is a retired military officer!
  18. Cade is a sweetie. I know you have him calling Jason ‘Papa,’ but I think a cute nickname would come from the ‘Other Dad’ name he was using: OD or Odie. (My family is famous for coming up with names this way!)
  19. Well, it’s like Simon’s money has made amends for all his misdeeds after his death. Really, when you’re talking about the amount JJ is, he can afford it. It will, hopefully, help his tax bill, too!
  20. Great chapter, but you might want to check the section where Yuri is discussing the GPS tracker. It looks to me like it double-printed.
  21. Oh-ho! They’re going to discover the hidden cameras when the Geek Squad moves the sculpture to install the flat screen. And since Simon was responsible for it being there, as well as the other art pieces...

    Nate

I read this chapter with tears. I have friends who have dealt with this horrible disease in the past few years. One has a young son who developed it at 3 years of age. His parents had already lost 2 babies at birth and his birth was looked on as something of a miracle after all their difficulties. He is now a happy, healthy 10-year-old. Another friend is still going through the battle with the ramifications of the marrow transplant just a couple of years ago. He’s had a couple of crises (yes, I spelled that correctly, because it’s plural), but he is recovering. He still isn’t back to teaching, but, hopefully, this will happen next year.

    Sunrise Surf

Ooh! A new Carlos story! I’m so happy! I love your stories. They’re very well-written and the characters are very real. Is this going to be a weekly read or more often (🤞🏻)?

    Chapter 2

It sounds to me like Rick is speaking from experience.

    Chapter 9

I’m so sorry about that, Wesley. 😕 Unfortunately, I have to admit I have known one or two like that in my 35+ years in Library service. On the whole, however, we love and encourage readers at every age and stage.📚📖📕📗📘
