I feel you. It makes my toenails roll up. LOL

For Berlin I recommend: The shadow of a giant chestnut-tree, deck chair, close to the river, taking a swim every few hours.

Simply wonderful. Thanks for sharing. :-)

lol sorry but no. Also he is the only one in his family with a baking talent. Hugs

Speaking of baking: On easter Sunday my husband baked 40 rolls to provide the family and neighbours with fresh still warm rolls for a traditional easter breakfast.

Plain 405 and 550 flour, which is the white wheat flour here is easily found in the moment here, but none whole wheat, rye or spelt or any other special flour, not even a baking mix for bread. I didn`t knew, that my neighbours are as fond on baking their own bread as we are. LOL Yeast I ordered online in a professional bakery store. Yet, sinc my husband is obsessed with baking, we store 13 different types of flour at home (the 14th run out currently. I know, its totally crazy, but the outcome of his oven is convincing. And to the neighbourhood, we have this neighbour help portal here, which works nicely.

Happy Passover and happy Easter to everyone who celebrates. We are still contact lock down or “contact ban” as it is called here for at least ten more days, but I guess, it will be more. My students (first-graders) some colleagues and I made an easter contest for ourself. We all tinkered easter bunny masks and posted pics of us wearing them in our virtual classroom gallery and now we are trying to find out, who is who under the mask. It's sweet, to see how the kids send each other greetings, having just learned to write. And it keeps us all a bit together. 🙂🐰🐇

Thats awesome. It will make me walk to work with a lighter step. And I decided to listen to this with my students and make some Math-dancing today. ;-) Thanks for sharing.

Hehe, with one guesses, you came close. This are molds for ice cubes and which form the ice gets through this mold, is obvisious, I think. Ein Schelm der böses dabei denkt.... (=Only rascals get naughty thoughts) 😁

Hi Gary, what a great poem. It connects with me much. The picture of the vanishing colors is very powerful. I can relate well with it. I myself like to use the phrase, to stand behind the mirrow looking into the world, but luckily one can break the mirrow and walk over the shards to become free again. Am glad, that you posses this strength. 🙂 Lyssa

Hi @mollyhousemouse, if you research about Caravaggio, you might find this interesting. https://www.caravaggio-foundation.org/the-complete-works.html?pageno=1 and this here is an awesome catalog I own myself, but it is written in German, anyway the pictures are good and the shown details explain a lot. https://books.google.de/books?id=EWalCgAAQBAJ&pg=PT275&dq=caravaggio+katalog&hl=de&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi0hIqo1JHjAhVCY1AKHa9gCtMQ6AEIRTAG#v=onepage&q=caravaggio katalog&f=false

Your poem reminded me on last August, and all the Sternschnuppen, I watched sharing it with someone dear. Thanks for bringing this memory back.

This one is so wonderful! Yes, we should all look at the greater picture from times to times.

I had to giggle, but I also have to agree completely. Great poem!

April 22 through April 31
Lyssa commented on Parker Owens's story chapter in April 22 through April 31
All of those are great, and they deserve a lot of thinking about them each. So here just some thoughts. As I have this love for spring and spring poem, I connect with 23rd and 25th very much. Awesome. 24th This one was much fun to read. It is so well-built up and the last lines surprising and with a very certain sweetness, making me smile. 26th and 27th both so touching and create awesome soul-pieces (No idea if this word exists in English, but I assume it is understandable). 31st Great! 😃 -
@dughlas and @Parker Owens pardon me, but be assured, that my kids both (boy and girl) climb on trees regularly, as well do my students at school. (Some might say, they saw their teacher in the tree with them 😉 )We have a big school yard, with lots of trees even the school is located in an area of Berlin-Gropiusstadt where a lot of skyscrapers are standing. All I wanted to say, there is hope. Lots of hugs. 🙂

This is awesome, I love if the design supports the poem and gives iconographic hints. Great work! Thank you for sharing. Lyssa 🙂
