1. I only mentioned Mahomes because he's pretty much THE guy in the NFL although I would get why some people can't stand him. 2.I don't know if your were being facetious or not but if you don't know what Sabermetrics are formulas for stat geeks to use to judge players. Not just a nice ending a realistic one also long distance relationships are very tough. A few things you could have put in although it may have made the story a little longer. One is it looks like Roy didn't find anybody else( yet )being an NFL player makes that even more complicated. Had you had the story go longer you could have had him meet Patrick Mahomes. As far as Cory goes since he likes baseball you could have had him be a sabermetric guy. Roy and Cory are brother-in-laws so they would still cross paths.Who's to say there isn't a story where they connect again? Unfortunately that would involve Cory getting divorced or something tragic happening to his husband. Very good story Thank you sir

I was wondering the same thing what is their motivation? I know they said they made money off of selling images of naked little boys and as horrible as that is there has to be something else with this stuff of them scheming to have sex with Dylan. I have heard dogs that come close to making the sounds that is like a phrase one dog of a friend of mine made a sound that came close ti "I love You".And in another case another dog of a friend made a sound that was similar to "I want it" so what you say? Cory did do a good big brother thing.It was a surprise he thought of ending it.I bet more kids then we reaizie have that thought even if it's only for a moment. In the Monday section of the chapter you wrote During my appointment with Dr. Ansler, I dumped a boatload of emotional baggage. Good thing Flo works for Dr. Aslers and her knowing what to do and making sure of it. While Dylan has gone through a lot of s--t I didn't think it rose to the level of being suicidal but I also understand different people react different ways. It's possible I might have missed this in the very interesting chapter but did something happen to Liam when he was younger I know Emma said she and Liam were shielded but something still could have happened. I going to take a long shot guess here .Does Jake and his gun have something to do with people working for Hank?

When you mentioned Liam possibly hurting his mother in a violent outburst it made me think.I hope, I hope,I hope Dylan doesn't blame himself for this happening like he thinks he drove Liam over the edge or perhaps he should have said something about Liam to Emma.The ladder might be a valid point. Add to what you said about Jake about being possessive grabbing Dylan so hard that it leaves bruises to me is a red flag

Jessica is absolutely the devil's spawn. But you also have to wonder what the hell is up with Jake and where is Liam now after what he may have done to Emma?

Geez I'm such a doofus in the Chapter 8 comment I wrote "I don't remember if this was mentioned in a previous chapter comment " and then I went on to write if it was possible Liam had a brain tumor. It WAS mentioned in chapter 6.... BY ME!!!!!!

A couple of guesses on my part. I'm sure Dylan will get tested and hopefully he'll be clean 🤞needless to say that will be a big factor with Jackson "Please? Don't leave. I'll let you do me bareback." he sounds pretty clueless and he's a teacher? Since bad fortune Seem to come in bunches I bet Zach ends up being on his crew would this be an odd way of them getting back together? I know this is while ago but when I was 7 and a half none of my peers knew what Dominic seems to know kids these days are getting older at an younger age (sounds like something Yogi Berra would say)

I don't know what to think the points @drpaladin and @CincyKris made are very interesting. Lets not forget while all this is going on precious time is being lost to get to the refuge and save the animals. If this was a movie we could view the part about the car scraping the tree limb would have made me jump

Dylan was saying he remembered things from the past he repressed then he said to himself he regretted not hitting Liam harder with the baseball bat. I'm sad to say sometimes in quiet moments I remember something from the past that got me angry and I think of things I "should have done" and some of them are not that different from what Dylan did thankfully I never acted on those bad thoughts they just stayed in my head. The author said Dylan was going to be cruel this chapter you can argue he wasn't cruel enough.IMHO Dylan's actions are understandable. One thing that wasn't mentioned much if at all in the last chapter comments was the gun when @Cane23 mentioned school shootings I said to myself "Whoa that is entirely possible" Lets hope the worst that can happen is the gun is threaten to be used but isn't used 🤞

Perhaps in Dylan's mind this makes him no better than Liam I wouldn't agree with that but that is the only thing that would make any sense of Dylan feeling remorse. I don't remember if this possibility has ever been mentioned in previous chapter comments but the only thing that might redeem Liam in any way is if it's discovered he has a brain tumor short of that he's a POS

So glad to see this story back. I'm sure I have forgotten some details of the story but if I remember right there is no way I would have ever thought Dylan would do something like that (Although I won't blame anybody for say it serves Liam right). Using the baseball bat could have some serious consequences despite the situation

It pretty reasonable that everything was handled right by the school and the police the only wild card is if one of the boys has a moron as a father and tries to sue Roy for something such as Lyle can't have children (That would be a good thing) I hesitate to write this.Roy gave good advice about biting but what if someone tries the backdoor way? I could see Roy doing some SERIOUS damage there.

I second what @Summerabbacat said about possibly seeing them again. Before I get to the story the part about Ryan buying briefs with a brand name on them reminded me of an underwear story when I was in HS I hope it's OK to tell here. There was this Black person just got out of the shower and he was in front of his locker unjust his tighty whities and another Black person who mostly kept to himself ( Nobody messed with him if you saw him you would know why) came up and ripped the person's briefs right off him every in the locker room was watching this.He started screaming "Your ancestors had to pick cotton to make those.....From now on YOU wear silk briefs"😲 I am the last person to tell a good author such as yourself how to write but the only thing I might have changed is for Ryan to tell the story about about what his deceased Father showed him before the crash. Ryan probably would not have believed it but later he would have still smelled the alcohol and weed and not go. It still worked very well this way though,Very well done Thank you.

First off excellent story. But a few things.You know that song "How much is that "doggy in the window" ? You might have missed something there.And also I bet @kbois refused to read the story once she saw "cat" in the title. But still very good story
