I totally agree with what @84Mags speculated about a future mate.But it makes too much sense so @kbois probably threw a curve. If Kage really is connecting with everybody involved then the bad guys don't have a chance. If it ends up that they can't find a cure for the pups I could envision a future story from the perspective of one of these pups when they are an adult. I have to stop reading your chapters on an empty stomach the way you describe Sandy and Mama's cooking.Either you or somebody you know don't like Ziti as much as other pastas but I agree although its the same ingredients and it makes no sense the shape of the pasta seems to make the pasta taste different

I am somewhat confused .I was under the impression that Devlin didn't want to spend any extended time with Marc so I would have thought he would have turned down the offer from Marc and stay with the boat. Devlin is right to be worried about being in the crosshairs of the bad guys who are after Marc half sister and nephews. I'm worried that having their cellphones off and the other precautions will come into play. Why do I think the bad guys are going to find them

I figured that even before @quokka commented.If Devlin did another runner it would involve leaving his car at Sam's place .If he sails back to retrieve his car Marc will be right there waiting. Now that Kyle knows the story I could see him in his position as a law enforcement officer contact the hospital Devlin was at and explain he's doing an investigation of an abandoned wreck.I don't know if the hospital is allowed discuss Devlin's condition due to patient/Doctor confidentiality but if Kyle ask if Devlin is fit drive a car or take the helm of a boat the hospital might be able to tell Kyle that. Kyle might then find out Devlin's condition is worse then Devlin said. If Kyle tells Devlin he can't drive I could see lot of friction happening

It was a pleasant surprise for me that there was a newspaper item about Devlin and he contacted Kyle and Brady when I read about the storm I thought that was going to be way for Kyle and Brady not knowing where he is again. The police station was closed??/ That would be unheard of in anyplace I have lived. That call Devlin made to the police communications centre reminded to the time I had a flat tire and the spare was also flat so I called a place and said they would come out .The man on the phone said 'Now you stay right where you're at" and I thought to myself Where the hell else would I be. I had to look it up to be sure the yacht in the Harbor was Marc's yacht. It wasn't clear to me before but I guess Devlin groaning was because Marc is there .I suppose he doesn't care for Marc's advances

@scrubber6620 has a good thought about looking at old records but I think that could be in conjunction with looking at gravestones. Ash knows The spirits name starts with an E so they will be looking for names like Edward or Edgar etc. .I assume that back then gravestones had the date of birth and date if death like gravestones do now so one clue to look for beside a name beginning with E is if the two dates adds up to the deceased being a teenager.Something tells me they'll come across another gravestone that meets the same criteria and it will be the wrong one.Also important is how long ago did he die was it before or after they had photographs? I know there were photographs during the Civil war so perhaps there a photograph of Elias somewhere. Would he remember his name if asked? BTW why anyone care if a ghost sees you naked? That got me thinking Elias knows what a buggerist is so is he gay?Has there been a story with a gay spirit before? I guess you can't have a gay relationship with a spirit you wouldn't have a ghost of a chance🙄But on the other hand the spirit wouldn't cheat on you he would be pretty transparent. Could you legally have a orphanage on a boat? It would have to be a very impressive boat.I suspect maintaining it would be costly. I agree with Maria about staying here until Bobby finishes school.If he wants to stay in the U.S. afterward I'm sure Armand and Colin could think of something. Speaking of a possible future resident is Ivan's Grandfather healthy? It's possible Ivan might end up in the top bunk should the Grandfather fall ill. Whoa.While we all know an incident like this can happen in any community at any time and that Ron has written scenes like this before this was still a shocker. In a somewhat recent story Ron had a major character die (I won't say the name of the story or character in case someone hasn't read it yet I don't want this to be a spoiler for that story)but the character in that story wasn't nearly as loved as Myles was so this one is a lot harder to take. A lot of crap has happened in Parker's life in the last few weeks and Parker has been reasonably emotionally strong but for Peter whoa. In a matter of literally 2-3 days he comes out ,gets his first BF and then watches him die I hope he's as emotionally strong as Parker. This could go two ways.The ugly way would be the racist element in Somerset to use this to what they think would be to their advantage and end up showing up at Myles funeral or something inappropriate like that.The other way is to have some kind of memorial celebrating Myles life or something like that which could bring people from two communities together I could see Natalie help organizing that. I sure hope it's the latter In what was a very, very sad chapter there was one positive. Abrams mentioned he got the new police chief to help move Parker and Darius to a safe place.The new chief sounds like a decent guy and Abrams must of had some influence in getting him to Somerset

I asked this before is it that difficult to get another mechanic? Jack is a middle school bully in an adult body. Devin left good friends on the yacht charter and left another job where he made a good impression on everybody except for one POS asshole. Now he's on a fishing boat where I bet his work ethic will please Sam. Sam asked if Devin gets motion sickness but Sam doesn't know about the panic attacks which I suspect will be a reason why he leaves this job. Devin traveled somewhat far from the yacth to the town he ended up in and then three hours to the cattle station and then four hours to the town of Esperance in those two jobs hasn't filled out any paperwork that might give a clue where he's at .So no matter how good a Det. Brady is or if Marc hires an excellent P.I. Devin is going to be very, very hard to find
