I wish had not read this chapter as the first thing I did when I woke up..It's so bleak!...I kept waiting for a miracle in the next line....To humiliate Will Carter like that ....To take over another country ...that is so wrong on all levels. I like to think that what makes them love each so profoundly is that they are both each other's first...They both really see each other ..Steve sees beyond the OCD and neurosis just as Kenny sees beyond Steve's manic energy...that's the balance you have perfectly captured in their story....they are so in sync it is crazy..

Lyn's moral compass has always been good ....it's the overthinking and insecurity that weigh him down...At least when it comes to certain points in time in the story..

Am calling this...Into the Unknown...we witness our heroes venture into places they have never been before....Alexander has his cherry popped and offers to keep seeing Lyn after the wedding. Lyn gets to stay and be part of a moment rather than being a mere participant. The way I interpreted that intimate scene is that it was more than sex...it was more an inhale-exhale sort of thing ...Alexander letting in Lyn completely(inhale) through giving himself to Lyn while Lyn lets go,becomes a blank slate so as to fully be part of the moment(exhale).. What I like about the closing scene of this chapter is that it's somewhat a full circle moment ...When the story begins, El is ending his sex arrangement with Lyn...this chapter ends with Lyn experiencing what El did...Being asked to be a boyfriend!..Beautiful moment for me
